    For me, the ideas in ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.

    About 30yrs ago I was running equipment when I saw a guy step on a piece of wafer board and slip then slide three floors down to the sidewalk. Jacked himself up! Man! Tieing off is a hassle until you fall.

    Architects should have to build what they think looks cool but causes you headaches. The roof was crazy and way too complicated.

      It's actually an easy roof to frame. But I do agree with you about the architects.

    Had a buddy end up in construction after huge layoffs from our tech industry. He said they had to guard even the wood bundles, his first project the entire wood package disappeared overnight and then had a crew being paid with nothing to build with.

    When you sheet over the ridge, do they not use continuous ridge vent in your area or is that cut in later? If so, do the blocks at the ridge you use to set truss spacing interfere with air flow? Amazing work for a one man show. Great Job!

    • @joelhuppe3725
      @joelhuppe3725 2 роки тому

      In canada we use ridge vents only on cathedral roofs. Roofers will cut in 12x12 hole near top for a maximum roof vent. Its like a box with pallets for airflow that adjusts to match roof pitch

    Are those paslode rds cycling through yr gun? Full head nails? Hitting pause, its all blurry! Its got to be what im thinking with all those pretty fireworks. Cheaper nails that dont fall apart. Afraid to try it in my gun. I know it would shoot rocks but i luv it so. Weld and machine driving pin... check the angle. Im going in!

    Do you use OSB for the entire exterior or just on the shear points

    • @seantap1415
      @seantap1415 3 роки тому

      Depends on the fire rating mostly because of the close proximity of the houses.

    • @TacoBell5DollarBox
      @TacoBell5DollarBox 3 роки тому

      @@seantap1415 OK because I am getting a new house and about 20% does not have OSB.. The rest of the house does. On the corners of the house it just has Tyvek/Foam/stucco on the studs. Mostly in the garage. The super intendent said its decided by an engineer for shear. I think its to save cash for the builder. Disappointing honestly they would skimp on OSB. But... like you said if its fire related that can make sense. The houses are only 10 feet apart.
