For me, the ideas in ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.
I just watched another Crazy Framer video from start to finish. Now it's time for a beer.
Or watch an amazing framer video!
I just went to the bathroom. Now it’s time for a beer.
How can someone possibly give the crazy framer a dislike . Unreal .
I know right!! Must be jealous no other explanation 🙋♀️😊
Thank you Thank you CF Lord of the lumber!! 🙋♀️😊 You are so amazing I love watching you work !!💗🥰
Impressive. I was waiting to hear some yelling as you were trying to get those sheeting strips into the clips.
About 30yrs ago I was running equipment when I saw a guy step on a piece of wafer board and slip then slide three floors down to the sidewalk. Jacked himself up! Man! Tieing off is a hassle until you fall.
Tying off
What did I say he did a house in two week !!!!! That's a pro good job crazy...👍👍👍👍👍
Just think brother, it could be 3 feet of snow. You're almost there, go somewhere with palm trees for a couple of weeks.
Won't be seeing palm trees anytime soon these days...
Already 3 feet of snow here. Its always winter in Edmonton it seems

Architects should have to build what they think looks cool but causes you headaches. The roof was crazy and way too complicated.
It's actually an easy roof to frame. But I do agree with you about the architects.
Had a buddy end up in construction after huge layoffs from our tech industry. He said they had to guard even the wood bundles, his first project the entire wood package disappeared overnight and then had a crew being paid with nothing to build with.
hey there CF, take a day off, get some rest. not worth it, believe me. stay safe!
Sparks fly’n from that nail gun. Never seen that before.
Maybe the guy in the go cart is scouting the place, 😆
Hey, I have that same Hitachi/Metabo nail gun. NR90ADS1.i bought for work on old shack I bought for my first home. I can't wait to escape apartment living. My first shack...sigh. Love it.
i have that exact same gun (Hitachi the first time and they replaced it after a year of abuse and it jammed) and the Metabo one now which I used to frame my house. Good guns and will take the pounding!!! love the vids bud.. keep it up.
🎖The Goat!!
Thanks for the video on my birthday
yoooo Happy Cake Day
I couldnt live in a place like that everyone jamb'd up their neigbors ass . Those cookie cutter neigborhoods are ridiculous . Keep up the good work. Love the videos
The joys of splinters... LOL Cheers
Lights out,time to go home,grab a beer,great video
Frame On!
Must have had a helper at 6:52,I see three hands in the shot...
Oh yes after a hard day work a beer sound good Happy Thanksgiving God Bless
oooooh yeah!!!! man is back
Hey crazy framer, my opinion is you should to put those 5 inches osb strip very tight and no use those clips, well that's what I do and look like full roof sheathing. Other then that, nice jobs and have a nice Thanksgiving.
Yay!
Super video! I forgot to breath! :) :)
why do I feel the engineer is not gonna like it? hahahahaha
Do you guys not do a lot of ridge vents in your area? Surprised to see the roof sheeting brought all the way to the peak with no vent gap.
Out here we just cut out holes and install a roof vent.
Cesar 🌨️🌨️🌨️❄️❄️❄️☃️🌬️
When you sheet over the ridge, do they not use continuous ridge vent in your area or is that cut in later? If so, do the blocks at the ridge you use to set truss spacing interfere with air flow? Amazing work for a one man show. Great Job!
In canada we use ridge vents only on cathedral roofs. Roofers will cut in 12x12 hole near top for a maximum roof vent. Its like a box with pallets for airflow that adjusts to match roof pitch
Great Job AGAIN ,NEXT,,
Ventilation Gap isn’t code up there? Damn!
dude, ask the Superintendent to let you put the shingles, fk, might as well
Now its time to build your own house. Who's ready to donate for a great cause?
Are those paslode rds cycling through yr gun? Full head nails? Hitting pause, its all blurry! Its got to be what im thinking with all those pretty fireworks. Cheaper nails that dont fall apart. Afraid to try it in my gun. I know it would shoot rocks but i luv it so. Weld and machine driving pin... check the angle. Im going in!
We leave about an inch gap at the ridge for the continuous ridge vent. Do you guys vent your roofs?
We use premade vents, vented ridges are not usually used on spec houses.
I thought that gap at the ridge was for a ridge vent. Do they not use those up there in Canada?
We use them, just not everyone prefers those over the other roof vents
Damn OSB get ya every time
For some reason I have in my head that the final row can't be thin like that
I thought hey, a ridge vent.
At 8:47. 1 nail, 2 nails, 3 nails, 4 nails, 5 nails, 6 nails and one more just the last 6 let loose.
One min in and I am tied off with enough rope to get me all the way to the ground.
Does anyone have a clue what one person would make framing a house this size? Just curious if he can work straight for a month then take a month off, or more.
What a crappy weather day to be working up there. Did you skip a couple days of filming?
How many nails? Ah....2 or 50....
Be interesting to know what you earn for building on your own..
Your nail gun has the initials TCF?
The Crazy Framer...
Did you fire the crew working next door or were they helping you? Did not see a day’s progress on that house.
Why is there a giant gap in your sheating on the ridge?
Huh? What gap?
Roof access
Densglass is that foam in the middle of it?
I could not stand near the edge of the roof like that. I’d rather handle a bundle of vipers.
Are all of your pieces pre cut? How and when do you get time to measure, layout, and cut everything?
It's kind of like a "kit build" house. Many of the parts (gables, trusses. stairs etc...) arrived pre-assembled with the plans.
What way did you put windows in did you fold back insulation.
👍👍😎✌️
Do you use OSB for the entire exterior or just on the shear points
Depends on the fire rating mostly because of the close proximity of the houses.
@@seantap1415 OK because I am getting a new house and about 20% does not have OSB.. The rest of the house does. On the corners of the house it just has Tyvek/Foam/stucco on the studs. Mostly in the garage. The super intendent said its decided by an engineer for shear. I think its to save cash for the builder. Disappointing honestly they would skimp on OSB. But... like you said if its fire related that can make sense. The houses are only 10 feet apart.
@@TacoBell5DollarBox Unfortunately your right to do it the cheapest way and still meet the code. Good luck with your build hope it goes smoothly. Cheers.
Can you do a video how to put a window in
And thanks you
No ridge vent on the roof?
Is this a kit?
No
How often does a framer nail their safety rope to the roof?
Frank S. Don’t know, can only vouch for CF NEVER 😊
How much do you charge per foot?
All the comments 'no ridge vent?' NO. Ridge vents dont work on a 4/12 roof.
What stealing in Canada, I thought that only happens in the US
What pitch is this roof?
6:52 the real reason they call him Crazy Framer.........3 hands
Whoa
Outfreaken standing work,,I get dizzy just watching U on that roof, with ur head mounted camera moving around all angles.
Ive taken scrap wood from job sites, but windows... thats just low.
Rival did you ask permission? If so good on you !!
Id be cussing w their designs
!;-)
Some architect was really proud of that idiotic roof design...
BTW: I took classes in architecture and couldn't stand the idiotic stuff they wanted me to draw up.
So really in 2 weeks your making 25k minus w.e your paying those guys.
Framing up there must pay a lot more than it does down here in the south eat US.
@@Donttreadonanyone ya south doesn't pay well. Ne we get 9-12 a sqft I was guessing what hes making
Lol, what kind of horseshit design is the front roof? I think someone is just messing with you, ha, ha.
What idiot designed that roof?
