    so glad you showed us this! the pickled mangos that we get from a friend usually last 2 days. then another long wait. can't wait to try this!

    This will keep for max 10-15 days, however if you make in bulk then avoid using a wet spoon then it would keep for as month if refrigerated..

    so traditional mango pickle is fermented? i'm interested in natural fermentation used in different cuisines and would love to find out about natural fermentation methods and recipes used in indian cuisine. fermented foods are so good for health.

    In the absence of mustard powder, can I use Dijon mustard ? I hv read it’s a good substitute for mustard powder but I’m not too sure if it’s a good option while preparing pickles. Please advise.

      Hello Chef - my pickle is amazing - thank you! I think I didn't use the exact spices - I used whatever I could get and the main thing is that I used the precook and pre saute method that made it fast and delicious! Thank you - I've been eating too much of it now - I need to slow down as its taking a toll on my tummy - but so yummy and addictive!! :)

    hello Pajee, My old uncle always talk about his hunting days in Punjab. he often says he used to pickle wild boar. Pajee is this possible or is it an old mans fancy tale? If it is possible please make a video showing how to pickle domestic pork. many thanks

    Harpalji my mango pickle after some days turns out to be unbearably sour, though i do not add sarson or rai . What do I do? How many days do I put it in the Sun?
