Well done, it looks brand new! I use lemon, baking soda or bicarbonate soda, and vinegar for all kinds of cleaning around the house. 👍I just used bicarbonate soda and vinegar on a clogged sink, rinsed with hot water. Works just as good as the chemical stuff. If it is really clogged, I use a suction cup.

You have so much experience. As a person with bad allergies, I finally bought a steamer because it is the safest way and the best way for me to clean. It makes no dust. I discovered that the steamer will loosen the burned on food from the bottom of the oven. I try prevention over the cleaning. If you cover or close with a lid, the food to be cooked, it works. I do not broil in the oven - PERIOD! a big mess.
I have a self cleaning oven and keep an eye on it. I found it does clean, but not the see (?) through door, but my steamer does if used a number of times. It pays for itself quickly because you do not have to buy anything. but you do need some source of electric power.
I'm really sensitive to chemicals and I appreciate this video! There's another "non-oven cleaner" trick I learned is a Magic Eraser with Dawn dish detergent and elbow grease, works well too!

A lot of work. You did a great job. I'm thinking though that a self cleaning oven is definitely the way to go.
heats up to 800 degrees in a self cleaning oven. My stove burnt out after using the self clean mode TWICE! it was a very good stove too. I din't buy another one.

Hi 3 hustles! Just wondering how this worked for you for cleaning your oven?
If we spill in our gas oven, we spray it with ACV and sprinkle on baking soda and it softens the baked-on food and with some elbow grease it comes clean, like new. We do use a gas stove in the summer months, but from Sept. through May we use the wood cook stove. Speaking of sensitive skin, I hauled an arm load of weeds to the compost pile, well within an hour I had broken out in the creases of my elbows, evidently, I reacted to a weed in the pile. There is something very satisfying about a clean oven, don't you think?

I used my self cleaning oven cycle and it actually got so hot it warped the top of my oven. I'll never do that again
