Great video
Well done. Simple and straight to the point. Thanks
Super well and very clearly explained fishingreel care, thank you very much. But as a big "The Simsons" fan, and especially as a fan of the supporting character Dr. Marvin Monroe (his ingenious and cold manner), I particularly appreciated this lesson in role care......😉😉😉👍👍👍thank you very much keep it up!!!
You forgot to say Bad boy for the handle
Lmao!!
nice job Lee, good luck with the channel.
Thank you! I really appreciate it! Have a lot planned for the channel!
Good luck and have fun.
Hi from the UK looking forward to seeing more videos.🎣👍
Thank you!! Appreciate you!
Thank you
63 more days until Bass Season. Going through my gear to make sure everything is ready. 🎣
Hell yeah! I’ll be out on the lake this time next week!
Watch alan hawk reel maintenance never put oil on the main shaft rub some grease on it .Oil on other parts like line rollers and handles .
Weird. I’ve been putting oil on the shaft for years and have never had an issue.
Just read that there’s a difference between fresh and salt water. In salt water grease is a must but fresh water oil will do.
Back drag off when in storage
@@WesWhaley-tw5ms great tip!
That's the #1 place to put oil.
Except if it is a Daiwa spinner with the magfluid.
What type of oil you use?
It was the bass pro brand oil. Pretty cheap and have never had an issue with it
Hot Tip. Use Rock N Roll Gold bicycle chain lube, not oil. Rock N Roll is a wax based lubricant that's suspended in a carrier fluid. When you apply it, the carrier fluid takes the wax into the critical areas and tgen evaporates, leaving only the wax based lube in there. Oil attracts dirt, salt and grit, and will turn into a fine grinding medium which decreases the life of bearings and eats away at thin protective coatings on metal components. Wax does not attract grit at all and will still protect from water, and lubricate sufficiently. Other lube which is just as good is White Lightning. It's also cleaner and easier to apply and clean up accidental over-application. Try it, you'll thank me later.
I’ll give it a shot! Thank you!
Thank god you aren't a mechanic...... What happened to a full service ? Take the reel apart full clean grease the gears etc strip the line off and clean the spool , clean the drag washers etc novice.....
Thanks for watching.
