Right now, in the 21st century, South Korean scientists are actually working to resurrect the prehistoric woolly mammoth using cloning technology and the flesh of perfectly preserved specimen once buried in Northern Siberia. The hope is that if they can find an active cell from the meaty leg of a 40,000 year old frozen mammoth, it could hold the keys to bringing back the extinct species.
At the same time, shady tusk hunting Siberians looking for mammoth ivory support the Korean cloning project, by discovering frozen mammoths in the quickly melting permafrost of the Russian Far North. This bizarre supply chain inspired us to travel to Seoul, Yakutsk, and Moscow, to learn about humanity’s quest to both profit from, and clone, the legendary woolly mammoth.

Desperate Freedom why clone theses uncute animals instead of cloning a catgirl?
Why is the mammoth tusk trade illegal? It's not like they're going to go extinct.
karmakazi219 It's not. Go ahead & buy some if you want. No one will stop you. Buck USA has a line of knives with mammoth ivory handles, for instance.
balzonurchin Oh. Thanks! I probably will buy some!
My new question: Why does Motherboard try to make it sound so shady if it's not illegal?
karmakazi219
Yeah, I was getting that impression as well. Most likely because the trade is instilling violence among the mammoth hunters. I say who cares? There are far more dangerous occupations in this world that don't stir up controversy, so why should this?
balzonurchin Right. I think violence like that probably comes along with any lucrative Russian business. It doesn't really have anything to do with mammoths.
karmakazi219 That's not it, the mammonth ivory trade is perpetuated by the elephant ivory trade, it is an alternative, and by supplying mammonth ivory it's driving the elephant ivory trade as well. It's a viscious cycle that makes things very difficult, on the one hand if mammonth ivory becomes illegal i would suspect elephant ivory poaching would increase but if it stay's legal it can keep the ivory trade going which is also not very good for the elephants...fucking china....
Clone it already. The wooly mammoth was always my favorite extinct animal. As a plus, it won’t try to eat us.
brooks wade it’s not that easy
common TV It’s a lot easier than they want you to know. It has been done numerous times, and very successfully I might add. I live near the university of Tennessee near Knoxville, they cloned sheep many years ago.
brooks wade just bc they can clone something doesnt mean they should bc the species that got de-extinction would die off pretty quick bc not enough food and water.
common TV That’s a valid argument. Plus, with humans around, the species could get wiped out again. I was speaking more out of jest than seriousness. But I can’t help but wonder, if two or three breeding pair of wooly mammoths were placed in the remote areas of the icy regions, might they have a chance? It would be really amazing.
brooks wade global warming is melting all the icy regions
These people trying to resurrect Woolly Mammoths but we can't even save the damn Polar Bears in their melting environments... smh
Do u want them to clone fucking ice
Pookybear what the fuck Do you think they are gonna do open a freezer and leave it in the south and North Pole?
@@pie197 I don't know, perhaps take care of what animals we do have and not bring back extinct species that have no chance of survival in environments that are drastically different from when they once existed? What are they going to do, bring it back just to kill it or stick it in a super freezer just so it doesn't die of heat stroke? Would rather it stay dead tbh, doesn't sound like a very pleasant life
Pookybear did you not watch the video? They are gonna make a environment for the wolly mammoth.
There is no global warming. The ice isn't melting.

It's the Black one that's critically endangered
Every scientist have different job
Like malaysia scientist is trying to clone the endangered sumatran rhino, russia and japan scientist is cloning mammoth, african scientist is cloning the northern white rhino
@@Mavinski1 All rhinos are critically endangered. Some more than others, but all are listed as Critically Endg. by IUCN.
Did he seriously ask, "why clone a mammoth"?! Why the hell not?
Aaron Paul Because it has no place in the modern world as it went extinct naturally.
i love this convo. I agree for sure that we should clone it. but i also agree that it has no place in this time period.
Aaron Paul Ancient humans hunted it to extinction, why not bring them back?
It might taste good!
They will overheat in these times.
But I suppose it is plausible for them to survive in some cold regions like Russia.
i pray i see a living prehistoric animal in my lifetime
+DERSCHWARZE VOGEL Your prayers have been answered many times over and you didn't even realize it! Look up "living fossils" Here are just some of "so called" prehistoric creatures still alive today: bacteria, velvet worms, cockroaches, martian ants, Palaeotragus (Okapi giraffe), platypus, aardvarks, capybaras, Sumatran rhino, mouse deer, Laotian rock rats, echidna, chevrotain, Sandhill cranes, pelicans, hoatzin birds, horseshoe crabs, snapping turtles, alligators, crocodiles, Hula painted frogs, Chinese giant salamanders, giant freshwater stingrays, tuatara lizards, Red Pandas, nautilus, pygmy right whales, jellyfish, Alligator gar fish, sea sponges, 2,000 different species of sharks such as: goblin sharks, frilled sharks, and elephant sharks, blobfish, sturgeon fish, tadpole shrimp, coelacanth fish, hagfish, lamprey eels.
actually crocodile is a prehistoric creature as well
+Khairul Pro I guess you didn't notice crocodiles are on my list.
+DERSCHWARZE VOGEL - The obvious question that comes to mind is, why are there so many creatures who have never so call "evolved"or only show variation in their species (adaptation)? The best example of this is what is regarded to be the most genetically bred animal on the planet; wolves, which became modern canis familiaris, or, as they are more commonly known as, dogs. Wolves have not evolved to become dogs, rather, man has eugenically bred them and the science of DNA has proven that in just a few thousand years, all of the hundreds of dog variations are without exception adaptations of their wolf ancestry. A great program of this is documentary on Netflix called "Dogs Decoded". All the while the majority of other species in the world just seem to have burst onto the scene in so called "punctuated equilibrium". If we are honest, we'd have to admit, the bottom line is, science has no explanation for these questions and is really only guessing. The best contemporary "scientific view" has come up with so far is *BANG* . . . all the Universe and life have magically appearing from nothing!

I think it would be cool as hell for us clone and bring back extinct animals. Especially ones that we helped to cause their extinction. I'm no scientists, but I see no problem with it.
Marvelous Beats Gaming, I agree with your idea concept at certain levels. Of course we should clone back certain animals that we caused the extinction of, near the this time period. It would certainly be very beneficial in cases , but we also have to look on wheat her it would be the best or not. Looking at the condition of the earth right now, global warming, pollution, all things things come into factor. But when coming to longed period extinct animals, I thinks that’s a terrible idea.
Marvelous Beats Gaming if released to the wild, the clones could actually cause more animals to be extinct. But if we keep them in zoos why clone? Just for our pleasure to look at them?
When it comes to the mammoth it’s just a matter of having a proper habitat for them to live in
Marvelous Beats Gaming Have you watched Jurassic Park? (Actually, I’m fine with bringing back Dodo birds! They look so derpy, haha!)

LMAO “we believe that by cloning these cows, the flavor of the meat will be superb” glad this is for the betterment of humanity 😂
There were actually cloned beef cattle in the USA but they were killed and no more were made because people were (irrationally IMO) grossed out at the idea of eating clones. It's also not efficient from a financial point of view I guess. www.wired.com/2005/04/cloned-cows-yummy-and-safe/
There's still cloning ongoing in the beef industry but they don't clone the ones we are going to eat directly any more, only the cows and bulls used to breed them. www.ticotimes.net/2014/06/29/us-company-in-iowa-churns-out-100-cloned-cows-a-year
:) They could also cloning humans as ultra cheap bots having expendable lives, obedient workers, engineers, doctors, at first only the super rich will be spared. Then the super rich families will be eliminating theirs rivals by cloning them with obedient clones till there will be only one but even there will be no safety for the family left cos they will start cloning each other, suspecting everyone.

Of course they will, do you really think the greediest species on earth would care about a soul or reek in huge profits?
Why not! I don't know why people get so stirred up about cloning one day cloning is going to save all of our lives
How would it save our lives?
You're not transplanting a consciousness, you're just creating a genetically identical being.
iwannabeanarwhal Cloning for stem cells & new organs etc. can save lives.
So Shitty Does the term "cloning" really apply for stem cells?
I mean, aren't you just replacing the genetic material of an existing stem cell?
Isn't cloning the process of creating a "copy" of an existing thing? If so, why would creating a stem cell from of a somatic cell be considered cloning?
Also, could an organ develop in a lab, or are we talking about cloning humans only to harvest their organs?
Armoredcody not really the process involved , but ok.
iwannabeanarwhal I think as morbid as it sounds, cloning organs and body parts not necessarily a full human is what people are getting at by cloning saving lives.
That brood dog looks miserable :(
It is. Tv always sanitizes animal experimentation.

How about they just clone about ten billion tusks and wreck the market!? I would!
OMG HE ATE A FREAKIN OLD MAMMOTH??? ooh that must be expensive... AND HECK NO I AINT GONNA EAT A MAMMOTH!
Problem of a cloned Mammoth;
What species of plants did it eat? Are they still around?
Its immune system would be very fragile to all the diseases that have evolved since its species extinction.
The grasses and sedges that mammoths ate still survive in the tundra today. Some of the research I have done on mammoths says that mammoths, through their dung, actually helped spread the grass seed which helped minimize the moss. Much moss has taken over areas of tundra that used to be covered by grass. Apparently, this moss releases a lot of carbon in the form of methane, a greenhouse gas. So technically, bringing back the mammoth would literally help cut down on greenhouse gas. As far as diseases, the air far north in the tundra is very clean and the weather extremely cold, so I'm guessing that there are very few viruses that could survive in that environment, an advantage to any new mammoths.
I hope we will be alive to see this.
Victor K
Nope. Cloning is simply unnatural and we all will die for this. Even cloning just an organ is unnatural. If we all can clone ourselves and our body parts, what's the point of trying anymore? Any fat ass person can just destroy their liver or heart then get new parts tomorrow. What's even the point of exercising or eating healthy?
Do you scrap your car when one of the parts become defect? What of people born with dysfunctional organs? What of children who are born blind? Why is it unnatural to help them see? Isn't it our obligation to do so?
So your saying that in a future time anyone will be able to be cloned and it will be CHEAP? even if that happens which is highly unlikely youd still have to eat healthy because you'd start off as a child again and the risk of death is higher if you are alive again for the same amount of time
ерунда сэндвич. You know what else is "unnatural"? The device you used to write that comment. Motorized vehicles. Television. Medical technology that saves millions of lives. You know what's "natural"? Malaria. Cancer. Flesh eating bacteria. Being natural or unnatural is not a logical argument to the validity of whether something should or should not be attempted.
I kind of feel sorry for that poor mama dog se looks so sad 😞
Having puppies then looking after them is hard, stressful work. I’m sure she is more tired than anything else. Even a human mum is exhausted after having a baby. In wouldn’t worry too much. They do take care of the animals. They are worth a heck lot of money. You need a healthy mum to get a healthy puppy and people aren’t going to pay the money if they don’t get a healthy puppy at the end.
The dog is trapped in room and never goes out, its beyond cruel

How would you even tell, besides DNA tests? It'd be just another kid, with different fingerprints (because those are not coded by DNA) and would probably look somewhat different than the donor because of different growing conditions.
DogFoxHybrid watch out for glow in the dark finger nails.
You can already predict how the mammoths will be treated. People are talking about them like commodities. The first mammoth will probably be on display at a zoo. Then they will be bred for their exclusive meat, leather, tusks etc. The fact that there hasnæt even been found one single good enough cell to clone from could imply that future clonings would stem from the same mammoth, meaning no genetic variation, and that leads to inbreeding which in turn leads to bad mutations. This is just not a good idea.

Salty Goal If you're still interested, I heard that since we already have mapped the genome of mammoths that all we need to do is activate all the relevant genes in an elephant embryo and then we'll basically have mammoths. They are going to live in Siberia I think
Like the country of Siberia or the area of Siberia in Russia, I assume Russia but asking won't hurt
We're going to clone Dodo Birds and Passenger Pigeons before the mammoth. The Dodo and Passenger Pigeons' first clones are coming in around early 2020s.

This is kind of scary but also incredibly fascinating. I think their hearts are in the right place trying to resurrect a creature long extinct. Maybe this is our chance to resurrect other species that have gone extinct. The Vaquita's are critically endangered and will likely go extinct soon if not already... Let's right our wrong as humanity and bring back the life that we stole.

The real question is: Should we bring back the Woolly Mammoth?
It's proof-of-concept work, research which explores and refines and adds useful data for future efforts (even if it fails).
Maybe this species has no real place today. But the capability of reversing extinction can (in theory) also be applied to any/every other species.
yes!
I'm not sure but Camp Wawanakwa should
The real question is: *WHY THE FUCK NOT?*
Well if we can bring back the woolly mammoths then we could save the tundra and in turn possibly help with global warming? So why the heck not? If there is the slightest chance we help out planet is it not a good idea to try. They would at first be in captivity to see how they do so if things don’t go well then they will just stop the process. But if they really do a good job then we may have found something that helps our planet. Plus the job the woolly mammoths did is so far NOT being fulfilled. We are the instigators of their demise so if we can bring them back then that would be a good thing.
Plot twist: we already have clones living among us and we don’t even know
I feel his tone towards mammoth ivory was somewhat negative. I don't see why it would be. He spent a little too much time focusing on the ivory trade then the actual cloning. I believe anything that is possible will happen. Instead of trying to slow it down we should speed it up and deal with the consequences sooner than later and learn from it.
Caligula138 I got the same feeling too. He seems to think its a bad thing but has no reason to object it besides ethical. What consequences are there in cloning a mammoth? How about postulating that in the video next time.

Lay lay it was a gorilla that got shot and killed in a prison I mean zoo, because a young child was not being supervised by his mother and fell into the enclosure. to save the child they killed the gorilla. a bunch of bone heads think that the gorilla was more important then the child. I personally think he's better off dead then being locked up in a tiny cage it's whole life being gocked at by people. No I'm not happy it's dead but I would rather die then be in prison my whole life, I think a wild animal would feel the same if it new what it was like to be free.
I'm all for bringing back the wooly mammoth. Especially when it comes to combatting climate change. Now, not being an expert ecologist, I wonder if they would be able to live and survive in the Canadian Arctic and not just the Siberian Arctic. I'm just thinking in terms of not pigeon-holing this newly resurrected species to only one area of the planet.
Wrangel Island maybe, it’s where the last mammoth herd lived before dying out and where many good specimen cells have been found
live and survive, you seriously think people would allow mammoths to just live and survive in the wild?? Do you realize that in China and Russia wild bears are locked in cages their whole life, abused and have their body parts "extracted" to make miraculous medicine. Not just bears, also tigers and other animals. You think they are trying to clone the mammoths out of their good heart to let them live freely? If cloning is eventually possible, it will start a huge abuse of thousands of female elephants and the born babies as well. I hope human "civilization" will end before it happens.

you dont have to clone all mammoths from the same cell, besides, if we look far enough in any species you will find that most species didnt start with hundreds of different versions of themselves, they all started with limited gene-pool, and lot of incestuous sexual relationship later and they adapted.
I know that, but most species still have antibodies from the previous species, while they have none
They have dna from elephants

Wait, the first statement makes no sense, "in a few years, these two things in my hands might be two woolly mammoths". Are the dogs going to turn into mammoths in a few years or does he really think he's strong enough to hold a 200+ pound baby mammoth in each hand?
charbuk lol
+xXx_$wegMaster_xXx No, a witch, burn him!
How interesting. I had a piece of mammoth tusk from a neighboring farmers place here in Ohio. They found it widening a road going down a hill. It was just there sticking out of the hillside. I had a good size piece, like say a small banana size. Very sadly it would keep breaking down over time into smaller fragments. The local museum said it wasn't significant. Still pretty cool and just wild to actually see a tusk sticking out the side of a hill
ya ever think that in some alternate universe mammoths and elephants collect human teeth and sell them on the market for thousands instead of humans selling ivory
rofl
Emily Campbell That makes no Fucking sense
NotSpree You must’ve just skimmed. It’s a humorous take on the ivory trade. It’s the flip-side of humans selling animal tusks (ivory). She explained the gist of the idea in the last sentence. I applaud this quirky humor, because it’s quite rare. It’s kinda like a verbal Far Side cartoon.
Before you criticize her for making fun of something cruel, get a grip. Here’s a Far Side cartoon www.google.com/search?client=safari&hl=en-us&ei=Oa-1W9eLG4W28AP136TQBg&ins=false&q=far+side+cartoons+elephant+wastebasket&oq=far+side+cartoons+elephant+&gs_l=mobile-gws-wiz-serp.1.4.0i22i30l3j33i22i29i30l2.21336.24208..28344...0.0..0.206.2280.0j15j1......0....1.........0i71j33i299j33i160.GQyFcotvups#imgrc=6vOkXniYxBHzJM:
Lmao
If the Mammoths were brought back to life they would be hunted for their tusks. I mean they built an underground industry selling mammoth tusk while they were extinct and if they are resurrected they would still need to fulfil their industry by hunting them..... So yes it would be great to have them alive but then the hunters would come for them
Reeeeeeeee
If you can resurrect a mammoth then why bother? Elephants are probably more abundant than the like... 1 mammoth. And they can bring the elephant back too if they can bring a mammoth back.
or they could just wait until one dies of old age
if anyone breaks into government labs for mammoth tusks he earned that shit.
i don't think they will have many problems with hunters in the plains of syberia
We can secure them with protectivr security helicopters raidar and safari patrollers to male dure nothing happens
It should be legal to clone Einstien.
Garett James einstein*
and walt disney
Add Stephen Hawking to that list
Venom Spidey and Hitler
😂😂
So wait a second, if they can clone a dog and make it a hybrid... They can clone humans and make hybrids??!! This opens up a bunch of possibilities, if this gets int the wrong hands only God knows what could happen...
Dog humans ???
Glow in the dark claws? Alright. That's going too far.
Agreed.
No it's a good thing
Mason Villa ITS COOL K
Star Wars the clone wars confirmed
It’s not suppose to be cretin
Cretic?
U meant cretin
Omg no I have made my name cretic for a teason
Hell, I hope they're gonna be on the look out for complications like the gene pool when cloning. If this actually becomes a big thing, I feel like something bad will happen. Kinda like how people didn't know that feeding cows other cows would sprout mad cow disease.
I can hardly wait for a McMammoth Burger! Really filling!
I was thinking its kinda funny that we're still assholes and thousands of years ago we ate them and then now today that's how we introduce purselves as new humans we eat em yea we're still dicks
Like most people, I love the idea of resurrecting extinct species; Tasmanian Tigers, Mammoths, etc.
However, mega-fauna--the elephants--as well as rhinos and gorillas are currently heading for extinction, so why are we investing so much effort in resurrecting an already extinct--albeit interesting--species of elephant?
Rather than expend resources on some hairy elephants that we probably drove to extinction--creatures few humans would ever have the chance to interact with--we could try harder to preserve the elephants we currently do have before its too late.
Maybe in a few decades we'll be spending millions to try and clone extinct African elephants.
Peter Thelin Yes I think the cloning should be put into use for preserving the animals that are going extinct.
Peter Thelin good point there
it's a false premise to present it as an either-or situation. When you say "we should be doing x not y" it's too simple, there is no "we", some group of scientists or businessfolk might want to do something, which doesn't necessarily prevent another group from doing something else.
Once we do this with the fucking Mammoth! Once we do this, even if the elephant does go extinct then we have the wooly mammoth who can give birth to it.
There is a seed bank in Svalbard that stores frozen backup seeds in case an important flora species were to go extinct. Perhaps we should also do this for animal cells, there are some horrible people out there that hunt endangered animals and they are almost bound to go extinct so it would be handy to have a handful of intact cells that could be cloned.
imagined if they managed to clone a mammoth and it looked nothing like we know it today
it comes out all deformed and retarded 😂😂
+ThePlus1Gamer That's idiotic. The way we know it today is based on preserved samples which are clearly shown in this documentary. If there were a difference, it would be marginal.
varun009 i know thats why its a 'what if'
ThePlus1Gamer which I just demonstrated to be utterly stupid.
varun009 yeah its stupid but anything can happen in a "what if"
In russia...
MAMMOTH CLONE YOU!
I have no idea if that was sarcasm or not..
We’re going to have mammoths going to jail then, since human cloning is illegal.
@@Nondescriptor not in Russia.
ONLY in RUSSIA!!!
Fucking yes
I hope we’re able to bring them back. It’ll show truly how far science has come.
As much as i would love to see a Mammoth walk on the earth again, i feel that if it was brought back and many clones made, they would surely be hunted to their tusks also as well as other body parts such as feet that they could make a great deal of money from.
I actually have always wanted to see a real-life Woolly Mammoth, so I think this would be pretty cool. Of course there's a lot of species you just shouldn't do this with, but I don't think this is one of those species. This would also be great for bringing back animals that humans killed off. Like the Thylacine, certain Rhino species, the Dodo, etc.
I’m a bit torn... On one hand, it would be absolutely amazing to see a living wooly mammoth. And humans were responsible for its extinction to begin with.
On the other hand, if the cloning were limited to one mammoth, what type of life would this animal have? It would undoubtedly be subjected to constant testing and observation. It may have heath problems, genetic or environmental. And it may be lonely. Elephants have been proven to have emotions and feelings, so the mammoth would theoretically have the same capacity. Elephants are pack animals, and have strong family ties. If the mammoth were to cohabitate with elephants, we do not know if it would be accepted, or if it would accept the elephants.
If scientists were to clone multiple mammoths and release them into the wild, it could wreak havoc on our ecosystem. It would also make them targets for ivory hunters, although, it would drive the price down, with mammoth tusks being more readily accessible and more abundant. I would not be sad to know the ivory business was suffering.
I also think some people are misunderstanding the meaning of the phrase “playing God.” Sure, some believers take the phrase literally. But in the scientific community, it simply means executing something that was, is, or should be beyond human ability. It is a question of morals and ethics, not religion.
The entire issue of whether or not a mammoth should be cloned goes much deeper than this 25 minute video. All possible scenarios, outcomes, pros, and cons need to be heavily scrutinized for people on both sides of the debate to have solid arguments for or against. Uneducated opinions are pointless, and can be detrimental if acted upon.
we cant even protect the elephants we have now.
*PETA hypocrites intensifies*
Can we just keep the elephants we have alive...alive please??
Rashad Glover ikr
The concern is not moral as much as it is ecological.
Imagine a 6 tons and 4m (11ft) tall beast grazing in the Russian tundra. Soon, these beasts will start reproducing exponentially and would become so much harder to control because the predators that were capable of hunting them are extinct too. So if you want to resurrect a mammoth, you'll need to resurrect the Saber-tooth cat (and trust me, you don't wanna resurrect the Saber-tooth cat), but if you do that, you'll have to resurrect the whole wildlife that lived in that era in order to keep a balance, which is impossible.
The Mammoth went extinct for a reason. Let's allow nature to take its course. And instead of spending millions on resurrecting animals that disappeared for natural reasons, let's use that money and technology to help preserve the ones that are endangered.
I would want to see a live Mammoth, don't get me wrong. But I'm not sure if it's the right thing to do.
I think humans played a part in their extinction
Chakib Tsouli The Mammoths went extinct for a reason, yep we killed them...
The least we can do is bring them back.
on the other hand that made me think the possibilities of human cloning them for endless supply of ivory or whichever part. the one who successfully clone it will monopolies the economy of these trade item. greed of mankind can never be contained. so many more consequences that can happen.
m. ab I'm pretty sure there are always two sides to things. I tend to see the bad side of what mankind do to nature and it is greed. Greed drives animals to extinction. Now they are desperately trying to reverse it. Power which falls on the wrong hands will always be disaster. This cloning thing is the exact recipe for disaster. Who doesn't want more money? Check out Motherboard's other video where people wants to harvest other planets. A billion dollar industry with trillion dollar profit. No human will just do it for the sake of "humanity".
good for you then. not against it nor with it. if there's money in it who doesn't mind? but hey, genetically modify the dog to have glow in the dark nails. why not ? oh that mammoth tusk could be longer because why waste the 'effort' just with standard ones. take it how u will. imagine cloning humans are legal and they clone humans that are immortal. I'm sure u will love it. you have your opinion I have mine. my discussion with u ends here.
There happens to be a small living population of Mammoths living in Alaska and Russia. Don't shot one or run away if you see one. Mammoths are friendly.
I feel so bad for that mother dog..
Jorge Hilario
👀 the South Koreans were the ones with the dogs in labs. fym, moron?
Jorge Hilario
👀 what do you even mean, man? i'm gorl
Abel .C this Isnt about dogs though, but I want to take that poor dog home.
Abel .C the Mom probably was questioning her life for giving birth to a completely different breed of dog
me too
the fact the sentence " I can clone a human" exists, already gives me goosebumps.
Although I like the idea that they could potentially recreate body parts. Imagine if you needed a heart transplant or something. Although there was this move where they clone an entire human being and harvest parts from them. Its called "The Island"
Are you equally afraid of twins?
poor motherdog is just caged up and used as instrument to make babies, how sick is that?
I think it would be an interesting sociology experiment to see how different a human clone is from it's host, psychologically.
This cloning stuff reminds me of the Jurrasic World movie
🙂
Probally South Korea and Other Asian country will make Jurassic park and Jurassic world Happen.
Dinostorm guy2 IF they can find DNA in the dinosaur bones, that would happen
AshB 783 Correct!!!
O God, as long as they don't escape.
ok but that one nurse looked cute at 3:59
I hope one day we can clone a mammoth. That would be amazing.
i want to clone a mammoth so i can get a bunch of friends, take off all of our clothes and spear it to death and then eat it, sustaining us for months
I personally would loved to see the Woolly Mammoth and the DoDo brought back as their both my favourite animals
these Koreans are smart as hell, I agree we should be obligated to do it
Sure, we can clone, but they hurt animals by getting them pregnant with someone else’s animal, even though they will not be together.
Same with the comment on top (YetiBlizzard) comment. But its not that they are smart its that they work hard to be smart. Even if someone is smart by nature but if you learn and work hard and know that you want to do it by your will anything can be done.
Anthony Yomama *south Korea the north is crazy
Anthony Yomama I think we should do it because we were a little responsible for their extinction.
Not gonna lie i wanna see that mammoth 😑
Bring back the sabortooth tiger!
Gustavo Gutierrez why what purpose it would kill humans and other species.
He said bring it back - not release it onto city streets.
If they are kept in an enclosed area, they won't kill humans.
feed it marijuana laced food then pet it kitty kitty oh oh ! pretty big kitty purrr
Liri 👽-"Gustavo Gutierrez....No let those creatures stay long gone & dead forever. (trying to kill us all)"
And remember what happened in Jurasik Park.
JUST BECAUSE WE CAN DOESNT MEAN WE SHOULD
Cyborg A.I. Mammoth Tank Armies ? Who wouldn't want that ?!?
Its basically an elephant and if you think elephants are dangerous then i dont know what is
10:02 he says croissant
You paid attention.
Technology like cloning could extend the human lifespan perpetually. Genetic modification to defective organs you started life with could definitely help people over time. Skin, bones, even the brain could be grown and transplanted. We probably won't live to see people living past their expiration date in our own lifetimes but you never know. Everyone should have cheap and readily available access to cloned organs from themselves. We should be allowed to grow it afresh and replace it at will whenever we can afford to.
Lets not play dumb here, cloning of the human species has been happening for many many years behind closed doors. The real question is how successful was it?
what do you think twins are?
Ecaf Tnuc
damn those fuckers are just clones huh, think about it.....
ProphetJones They are clones. Natural clones.
wait really?
Hugh Jazz not cloning or st least successfully they want to actually clone humans not make a mistake
I think eventually it could be done but they'll go through a lot of animals that suffer and don't survive to get there. Plus you just know rich psychopaths would pay to hunt a mammoth.
