I love your method of teaching. Instructions are clear and concise, and the videos are so helpful. You go slow enough to demonstrate, so one can presumably keep up, but fast enough that one doesn't get bored. I've watched SO MANY of your videos.

Wow! Thank you so much! I've made dozens of blankets and other projects in regular Tunisian, and I've made dozens of C2C with regular crochet. I guess I'm just slow because it never even occurred to me that we could do a C2C pattern in Tunisian! just really got excited to see you doing this! You have a wonderfully pleasant speaking voice, and your video is perfect! Thank you so much for sharing with us! I can't wait to make this pattern now! God Bless!

Wow, this is so much easier than the c2c moss stitch tutorials I've tried. Maybe because Toni is my favorite teacher and inspiration. Tunisian Crochet is my favorite method, while moss stitch is my favorite traditional crochet stitch. I will check Toni's videos for something comparable.

I’ve now started my project over for the third time cause I found this pattern & love it more than the chevron or gingham I was doing. 😂
I just found you like a week ago & learned about Tunisian crochet. I worked in a craft store for 5 years and have a grandmother who crochets and never knew about it. I have already fallen in love with the style (it’s SO EASY) and bought an inexpensive set of basic Tunisian crochet hooks, one hook with a cable, & at saving up for a set of interchangeable ones. I also showed my mom, who ALSO didn’t know about Tunisian, & she said “I like her. She gives clear, concise instructions & has a nice calming voice. Subscribe me to her channel.”
Needless to say, I’m now loving my new hooks (not as hard to use as I thought they’d be, though the hook with the cord took some practice) & am more excited than ever to use up my yarn stash!

Hi Toni - love your videos to pieces. I had watched this one 10-15 times over & over trying to make a square and kept ending up with weird lopsided non-squares....I tried multiple hooks & yarns and re-watched again & again....how the heck did I miss the KEY ingredient?! The extra full stitch at the end of the row to balance with the first one makes the perfect square. I love you for helping me with the bias square because last week I discovered an afghan my grandmother made in the 60s that is ALL bias squares in two colors - it's made of pure wool yarn and heavy and warm and delightfully colorful. I took it for knitting for years and when I pulled it out last week I looked at it carefully and realized it's TUNISIAN and ....on the bias squares .....so THANK YOU for this video and wish me luck as I go about recreating her work and making my own heirloom =) xo

I got my first starter kit for my birthday last week, I've been knitting and crocheting for about 20 years but have never done this style before, I'm already half way though my first project, a triangular wrap, and I love these tutorials, so easy to follow, you are excellent at explaining things, I've tried a few different stitches, but the wrap I'm making is using the smock stitch, was a little fiddly working out the increase at the start but it's looking amazing.
Thank you so much for these videos 🧡

My Mom taught me to Tunisian crochet when I was seven. It was one of the 3 stitches she taught me. However she called it the Aphgan stitch. I love this stitch so much. Since Mom has passed everytime I do or see this stitch it warms my heart and makes me feel close to her. I know she is smiling knowing that I still remember and use this stitch to this day and I'm 53 years old. Thank you for this wonderful video and I will be making some squares. I want to try and make some bigger squares. 💜🧶💜🧶💜

Ok I LOVE this pattern! I made two just like this with cotton yarn to use as dishcloths. The texture on the back is perfect for it! Now I am working on one with the honeycomb stitch, it is making a great texture on the front. The best part is after the increase you ALWAYS start with a purl stitch, and after the decrease you always start with the regular stitch. Awesome!!!
