- My honest review after 4 months, the black ops 4 season pass might have been the biggest waste of money ever, it's January, the game has been out for 4 months now and i haven't played on any new cod bo4 multiplayer maps at all yet, but the 9 year old recycled black ops maps like firing range and summit seem to be dominating the map rotation. What is up with all the recycled content in this game and overcharging us for it? I got suckered into buying this black ops pass, gg Activision / Treyarch you guys got me...

Yep. But sometimes the titan is exactly what you need. I was in a game last night playing against a team of spitfire sweats on firing range so I switched to ruin with the titan and just camped in the tower and they were all mad that I was the noob in the tower. 😂😂😂 It worked epically to troll those sweats. Lol

dude the graphics look like aids on my 60 in tv the new maps are forgettable and the specialists are horseshit to be killed by. An ai dog that doesnt even follow the character, seriously?! not to mention the lack of cool stuff in the game. it feels like each call of duty gets more watered down. first they get rid of granade launchers, then shotgun attatchements, then no barret 50 cal equivelents, then no shotguns as secondaries, then secondaries suck (advanced warfare) then in black ops 4 they gave us like 4 secondary weapons which are mostly dogshit except the strobe light sg12. not to mention no useable rocket launchers like the rpg that will actually damage someone. my favorite of all is the basically deletion of the granades in favor of specialist weapons. like seriously, have you ever been killed by a frag in black ops 4-- have you ever seen a trophy system? it really just feels like these games are just so run and gun and everything cool about mw2 and b01+2 are gone

Yeah same here I’ve stopped running strike team I literally get maybe 3 kills from my strike team. I’ve found my strike team half the tine will literally just stand in front of a wall at times doing nothing why one of the other strike team members will be actually roaming around killing people like it should
I've had times where the enemy team calls one in, and I'm standing right in front of them without getting shot once.
I've witnessed my strike team getting their ankles broken by air.

There is no creativity in this game. They copied fartnite , the best maps are from previous cod’s and they didn’t even have enough creativity to do a campaign. I don’t feel any connection with these characters and the story is in pieces. It’s just sprint and spray in multiplayer. But you can buy something to make you stand out. SMH this game is trash

I don't regret quitting after 3 weeks since launch. The Black Ops charm is gone. Campaign is scrapped. Multiplayer is more or less the same as Black Ops 3 just without boost jump. I don't know how much we can expect from treyarch if it's apparently even difficult for them to add ammo counters to the game. And the SAUGs are pretty broken there as well, since it only shows the ammo in one gun, never been a problem in a CoD before, but here in BO4 that's a different story. And that BO2 clip gave me nostalgia, I remember being able to regen my health while reloading and calling in my scorestreaks (which were also really powerful). I miss those days.

While I am enjoying bo4, I am really disappointed with how things are going. You’re 100% correct, this game has way too much recycled content. Not only that, treyarch seems out of touch with what the community wants. It’s like mp is just an afterthought to blackout.

as much as people hated on call of duty world war II, their supply drop and loot system was a hundred times better than this one. At least in that system you could literally purchase every DLC gun every outfit and everything else in the game content wise free with armory credits. that is non-existent in this game because they want you to spend a shit ton of money just to play and have fun.

ZSG Brisingr Say what you want about Black Ops 4 but Treyarch has been their best studio since black ops 1. Activision has also been making a lot of the calls for the direction the franchise goes creatively and monetization wise. We’ve seen Treyarch do great things in the past, but with how much Activision has screwed up their other IPs it’s hard not to put most the blame on them.

You're right though about Treyarch being a successful and talented dev team when making bo1, bo2, and bo3, but that also doesn't mean they aren't on their way out from a creative standpoint.

Firing Range and Seaside are literally in the rotation twice because of the night time versions... thats why like 60% of the games are just on those two maps
Def thumbs up especially for the BO2 cameo at the end....my fave COD!! Wasn't without it's flaws but they all have them .
IW had reactive reticles. A skeleton hand that stuck the middle fonger when you shot. One that rotated. One that had fireworks pop with every shot etc.
Obviously Treyarch and Activision aren't doing good with BO4 in it's entirety, because they did a free trial for Black Out. The Titan cheese is a preset class.
The only maps I play in this broken game are seaside or the sunset version and all the bo1 maps, Nuketown is in their too
