Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI’s final words were simple yet profound. Though he was theologically brilliant, an accomplished scholar, and having years of successes in his pontificate including the restoration of the Holy Mass, his last words should leave each of us remembering what the Christian life should be ordered towards. It’s not about how many books we have published, how many awards, or video views… if our life is not oriented towards these simple words, then it’s all for nothing: “LORD, I LOVE YOU”. Thank-you Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, for leading the church in this example 🙌🏻✝️🙏
