I found a small mistake on the script and just corrected now. cliphist does not seem to install cliphist needed for clipboard manager to work anyway, do this sudo zypper in -y go go install go.senan.xyz/cliphist@latest sudo cp -r "$HOME/go/bin/cliphist" "/usr/local/bin/" cliphist should then work
Your funny comments on packman made me laugh 😂 😂. I think you can choose sigle package from whatever repo you need passing the option ---allow-vendor-change in "zypper in" command as long as the repo have same priority. I am almost sure you can manager packman in this way. Please let me know if it work. Thank you for you video tutorial
sadly , it does not work like that " After adding packman repository be sure to switch system package to those in packman as a mix of both can cause a variety of issues. " en.opensuse.org/Additional_package_repositories Thats why I do NOT understand existence of Packman.... They should have have just make the packman as non free repo like fedora did

Great work! Found your channel and love it :). Why not try to use distrobox for complicated distributions like OpenSuse (and NVIDIA)? Maybe it will be possible to install your hyperland scripts in distrobox only on any linux out there and then just export hyperland from the distrobox to the host system. A nixos video would be great ... please make one for us :). Thanks for your work - its amazing.
@@amrosman1186 tbh, I have never tried leap so I dont know if it works on leap but if I remember it correctly, there is even a slowroll tw. and one of my discord server says it works.. I have never tried though
update 03 Dec 2023. Managed to get the sddm to work even installing on a server type opensue tw :) Same fot ROG laptops :) so its 95% working now since I still need to work on nvidia part
Which waybar style you have on your system? timestamp: 0:00 I tried all the ones installed, with Alt+W, none of them looked exactly like that. (Small individual purple pills). It looks nice.
just curious about which pieces of software you use for editing these amazing videos. I found that some video editing software is too laggy in any hyprland config. Please help.

did NOT set any mouse or cursor or any kind of acceleration but you can set according to wiki. Super E - user settings wiki.hyprland.org/Configuring/Variables/#input
@@damnhatesyou yup of course unless you need specific task. the amd drivers are like double edge sword in linux since game is not good with open source.. its opposite with nvidia 😅
@@Ja.KooLit thankfully nvidia open source drivers are getting alot of work now since they are Vulkan 1.0 compliant. and nVidia doing loads of work with the current drivers to work it wayland. in fact if nvidia keeps up there paces they will will straight up just have the best drivers.
got it working as well for nvidia...and sddm
so now it is working all gpu supported 😊

rose pine with simple-L top and I reduced font settings to 96% on all waybar styles

nope. dont need to. since the open sourced are already good.
@@Ja.KooLit except you can’t use them for learning task and it doesn’t hardware accelerate blender. Open source drivers are not good enough.
