I tried your dots on my previous laptop but that didn't work because my laptop had legacy driver gpu and hyprland lagged on that gpu but I just changed my laptop to one which has gtx 960m I just installed it and it works flawlessly seriously love it, keep up with your good work dude 👍🏻

Or should I say, Arch is my testing distro before I implement on Gentoo Just remember, the debian script that I am sharing is for trixie and sid the stable debian has a very old packages so newer hyprland, waybar etc will be behind and not compatible I have all on a separate partitions including nixos on my system. Its the only way for me to test the performance. but lile I said, my daily driver is gentoo

I think the most new-user friendly terminal text editor is micro. It's got google docs keybinds like "ctrl-s" to save "ctrl-f" to find, etc. Also, it displays the show keybinds command "ctrl-g" persistently so you can't get lost. On top of that it supports mouse and copy paste naturally and looks nice too.

tbh, I wasnt bothered and didnt thought of it cause I dont use. Some guys requested it.. But I just tweaked it now (still not published, or it is on development branch) .. so basically it will just move on its own space so the whole waybar wont be affected.. end result though is that during idle, there is a space on each side but on its own block basically or its own space

I have one noob question : when there are multiple windows open, only the one in focus is clearly visible, the other ones become less visible, but come back to focus when i hover mouse or go to that window. brother i am using your script on fedora workstation 40 everything working out of box and smoothness is great But have serious issues :- I want all keyboard shortcuts like in gnome or windows i want all mousePad sensitivity and gestures like in gnome fedora or more like in windows and last but not least excat mouse setting like right click open and show details of app,refresh and app when open there close ,minimize maximize icons these stufff is very much important

@Ja.KooLit I experienced Fedora-Hyprland. It is so cool. But now I installed Ubuntu 24.04 Lts version as my daily OS. I have tried to install ubuntu-hyprland on ubuntu 24.04 following your special instruction on Debian-hyprland. It installs upto the end without any problem. But when I reboot there is no hyprland at all. I tty and write hyprland still no hyprland. I also installed the Debian-hyprland. The same problem occured. So I restored my ubuntu version using timeshift. I tried again and the same problem. Is there any solution for this?
on github, kindly open an issue and attach the files on Install-Logs directory? or even on discord... as I stated on my video, there is no hard if reran the install-script again.s 99% of issues is being fixed by rerunning the script.. especially ubuntu and hyprland

one rule of messing up settings is to always create a backup so if something goes sideways, you can easily revert to previous anyway, edit ~/.config/rofi/config.rasi at the bottom, you will a line @theme something remove that line. then save

Issue: with 3 finger gesture I am only able to switch between workspace 1 and 2 not more than that
based on wiki, swipe right should create a new workspace

on fedora im unable to get hyprlock to work properly , whenever i use it , it takes me to default lock screen instead
interesting.. so youre sayinh if you choose lock on logout menu or ctrl alt L it takes you to which default screen?

@@Ja.KooLit Thanks for replying! I actually reinstalled hyprland. So, it's fine :) The path you gave didn't have the "themes" but it had the "font" section so I could finally correct the size of my terminal fonts. Thanks!
