Luther Vandross's version of this song still sends chills down my spine. To be in love, dancing with your girlfriend, wife or significant other while having this song playing takes you to whole another world. One of the best voices ever. He did this one flawlessly, look like he hardly struggled at all with variety of emotions and pitches that goes with this song. Lost a true legend.

Luther was a fantastic singer and performer. He sang this at the Royal Albert Hall. I was not there, but I am sure he must have brought the audience to their feet.
This one of the most gallant and beautiful stage performance's recorded. The accompanying female singers are gorgeous and the band so delightful.

He always put on a great show no matter his physical size! He dressed his background singers beautifully- I saw them perform and their costumes lit up in the dark-gorgeous, always sounding amazing. Rest easy LUTHER you are missed but REMEMBERED.

Back in 1980 I heard this man's voice for the first time singing the vocals to The Glow of Love and Searchin' by a band called Change and I instantly knew that I would be hearing from him again. Some months later he came out with Never Too Much and from that moment on I had been addicted to Luther's voice and work. He used his voice as an instrument, every note precisely set, it seems nothing was random, and with all this accuracy he could still get across so much emotion and passion. There will never be anyone like him again.

stevie sounds the same all over. He just brightens up the song.. Luther sounds like his studio cut, no editting or tuning needed....smooth silk voice, which is what live is supposed to sound.
