I heard Jack Jones sing this song about 60 years ago and each time I hear it, I thank the Lord for all the talent he has given these artists. My granddaughter has heard me try to sing these wonderful words and loved hearing it. I'm not nearly as talented.

The Loss of this wonderful man has never left Me or my family. As A Dad and former DJ I made sure our kids got a great grounding in music and to understand its force and power for good, they grew up listening to him and both now in their 20's still have him on their playlists. Luther was much more than a consummate vocalist he was part of the fabric of our lives and who we wanted to be as people and parents. I don't mean that in a super-fan obsessive sort of way, its much deeper and more meaningful than just that. I so wish he was here and that we could share with our kids the experience we had when we were younger. The excitement of traveling up from Wales to see his first UK tour date at the Iconic Hammersmith Odeon, following the release of "Never Too Much" back in 1981. I will, no..we will all always miss him but we have such a legacy of his wonderful songs and performances that elevate him to one of the true greats.
