I pray for people to be healthy
As a believer, I was praying to God today, and I started crying. I telling him how right now I don’t feel motivated to spend time in His Word. How it feels like a chore. I started crying because I don’t want to feel like that, and I don’t understand how not to feel like that right now. I’ve been asking God to help me and guide me, but it hasn’t answered. I know it takes time, but I just am so frustrated right now. I just feel so distant from him. Even thought I spend 1-2 hours with him everyday.
alise horton hey alise! I have struggled with this as well! Ask the Lord to change your heart, to change your desires, to give you that hunger FOR Him. Only He has the power to do that. Only God can change your heart. I hope this helps ❤️

alise horton The worst thing you can do is not read the Word that’s what the enemy wants you to do is not read the Word, but what you do is press more and reading his Word. Don’t have to read like it’s a schedule because God knows your heart put your heart into it and read as much as you want and then stop. Don’t make it like a regimen because God knows your heart. Because you can get more encouragement and confirmation by the Holy Spirit with sometimes one or a few scriptures than whole chapters. Ask God starting the what shall I read today and He’ll give you Word that will encourage you. Because this way you and only you will know God is with you. Read Genesis 3:8 ( cool of the day 2am-6am before sunrise) you may hear a scripture in your heart which will wake you up. Read that scripture which will start your day off perfectly knowing He is with you. God Bless you

GURL, you don't know how much I needed that! I clicked on the video so fast because I was feeling SO close to the Lord for several months but these last couple months I feel so distant from Him. And I started crying when you started reading psalm 139! That is my absolute fave psalm. I'm having surgery VERY soon and I'm scared for the healing process and really needing God's comfort. 😱😱😱 I literally just ordered the uprooting lies and planting truth book. Trying to understand if God has forsaken me because I sinned against him so much in this most recent season of my life and I was going through a spiritual battle that I wasn’t well prepared for and felt extreme overwhelming guilt and shame afterwards like I failed him and because of this God has rejected me because I screwed up.... But no, He’s too good and faithful to let me believe that lie. I asked him to lead me in truth and this was the first video I came across on my timeline! This is extremely encouraging and I know God placed it in my path intentionally. Thank you once again ladies for allowing the Lord to use you for his purposes God bless each of you! ❤️🙏

this year has been rough for me, and every time i think my breakthrough is coming, it doesn't seem to. but i know now that God has me in this season because i havent been seeking Him the way i should be, with my whole heart. so im so thankful for this slow season, He's giving me a chance to really get to know Him.

My dad passed away in January and my mom passed away over 15 years ago. Nothing prepares you for it- you learn to live with it- but you lean on the Lord even more. Don’t fear your parents death, but embrace all the wonderful times you have. Great video and no plant would be safe next to my cats! Lol . I have been starting every day by listening to this as soon as I wake up in the morning, and it gives me faith and strength to connect to the Lord on a deeper level. I feel such an amazing love in my heart knowing that He is with me every step of the way, it's so overwhelming.
Wonderful encouragement. I needed this. As someone suffering with cancer and sleeping most of my day away plus quarantine, I’ve felt less of a servant to my Lord. It’s difficult to really indulge in His word but I pray, I pray hard. My suffering has also revealed much dark parts in my heart and spirit, and I’m grateful to God to show me these things. There are days I feel inadequate to Him but I’m trying to remain encouraged that He’s always near. This video helped tremendously. 🤍

I was really struggling on how to create time to spend with God, was very confused on how I will start reading the Bible, then I told myself that I will read chapter by chapter, so I made myself a challenge of 21days to read Bible chapters (got it from Pinterest) and my first chapter was psalm 139(I read yesterday and it encouraged me so much)..and am here stumbling upon your video about PSALM 139 wooooow this is a good sign ❤️❤️

I’m married with two boys but I’ve had two miscarriages in the last 8 and a half months. The most recent one was April 17th, yes less than two weeks ago. I have been in many places and countries in my life... and that God was with me all the time really touched my heart.
In Korea, we are back at work after 7 weeks(Since early March we worked from home.) Still social distancing but we didn't have quarantine fortunately... I actually regret not praying and spending more time with God while I could. (It's good to be finally back in church after 9 weeks) I believe if we feel distant, we have been away from God, not God, like your Sun allegory.

Hi, I just wanted to say God bless you sister! Your channel really encouraged me to get back to reconnecting with God and trusting in him! A couple of months back, whilst at university, I was in a dark place of depression, loneliness and felt worthless and I will admit I was a luke-warm Christian. One week I would tell myself I would get back on track with God and then for the desires of the world look back -just as Lot's wife did in Genesis! Your bible journaling videos encouraged me to start my own and to be more open about my faith! I can see that God is truly using you in His Plan to bring young people back to Him! Have a lovely day.
