You should definitely look into accepting Jesus as your Lord and Aaviour. Trust me, He will change your life for the better. If you want to be saved, all you have to do is confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that He rose from the dead on the third day. Once you’re saved, repent of your sins and pick up your cross, deny yourself, and follow Jesus, have a relationship with Him. God bless you❤️
V. Southern Try an app called fighter verses to help you memorize scripture. This app has curated list of scriptures you can not only be read aloud but can also be sung with music. And it sticks in your head just like a catchy song and the music is official.

I want to have that quality time with God. I pray everyday when I wake up and before I go to bed but mostly when I wake up. I also read bible devotionals online. But I know it's not enough. I live in a very small place with my husband and it's a little hard to have privacy. I need a deeper connection with God. I've been through a difficult journey and my husband and I are going through a life transition. It hasn't been easy but I am hopeful and God has been so good. Please keep me and hubby in prayer. I hope that you find that connection, time, and place with the Lord. I think we have all been there. In fact, I recently have been there for other reasons. And you know what? The Lord had been stripping a lot from me. I had been pioneering my own church, traveling to preach to middle school students, going into the juvenile hall to preach, evangelizing in the streets, and the list goes on. It was literally ministry, school, marriage, and family 7 days out of the week, until I burnt out, and I had to deal with some surfacing character issues. The most important above is simple: Intimate communion with the living God! Rest in him; that's what he wants for you. No need to strive in his presence.
Me 😭 My mid goes like “Maybe if I have a boyfriend I will be less lonely...maybe if I try to fit in with other people then I will have friends.” Is so hard to be strong being alone especially I’m in Uni and I live alone. I always ask God if He could give me visions to see Him and talk to angels. But I’m trying to be strong and have faith. 💗

As a man, i wished and prayed for a christian woman in my life to marry and serve the Lord together, but only He knows if we are ready for it, if we should be married or not. First and foremost, we must seek Him, and everything else shall be added, according to His will. What we wish most of the time is not what God wished for us. We must trust Him FULLY NO MATTER WHAT. Before we ask Him for a husband/wife, we must repent of our sins, completly, then ask forgiveness, change our ways and follow Him. Then the Holy Spirit shall reside in us, bare fruit, so we can offer our partner what God wants us to offer, a clean heart that is :) Blessing to you, in Jesus name.

Amen! I was looking for such a comment. It is a gift for me though I am still learning about it. I don't have to worry about school work or other things. Just spending time with God. It is the Fourth commandment.
You have no Idea how blessings came in since I kept the 7th Day Sabbath. Friday at sunset open with Communion and prayer. And then I study the bible as long as I can. The longest I study is to 7am. Then I rest with no worries in the world
@@Stitz5150 I hope you keep Christ because He is the eternal Sabbath rest as revealed in Hebrews 3 and 4. Rest for the soul is worshiping God everyday as that is what the seventh day of creation WAS originally intended as, the eternal day of unbroken fellowship between God and man. Christ reconciles through the cross restoration of that intended eternal 7th day for any day of the week for the beleiver because the day was pointing to the substance which is Christ. You can joyfully observe the Jewish Sabbath, but don't go crazy and turn into a seventh-day Adventist...because it'll go EXTREMELY DOWNHILL FROM THERE....TRUST ME.
Hi, Ashley! Here at my church in Brazil we have something like your day with God. Once a year the entire church opens a spiritual fast on a specific date called "the fast of daniel". For 21 days we keep disconnected with the world, social networks and secular information. We get away from things we like to do like playing video games, going out with friends, listen to music and watching TV and movies, except if it's something related to faith and church messages. On these days we dedicate ourselves more to meditating on the word and connecting more with things above. We have been doing this for years and God has blessed everyone who participates with a sincere and thirsty heart for God. Many people received the Holy Spirit on this date. God bless!
Being stuck at home for the past 3 weeks and haven’t been out because of the COVID-19. It’s a horrible thing that this is going on, but I also see the call from God letting us know this is now the time to have private time with Him, build a strong relationship, and even our families. This video convicted me and I don’t want to waste time. 🤍🙏🏻
I grew up religious but stopped praying in High School, spent decade of being depressed and alcoholic, now the Lord has filled me with new light and hope. I pray 7 times a day and fill my heart to God. I promise you if praise the Lord everyday, he'll conquer depression and will give you hope. I use to worry about my future , now I am passenger and God is my driver, I have nothing to fear because God has a plan for me and all of us.
I have battles often with following the flesh and following the spirit , I pray I'm able to make it to this level of comfort by the spending an entire day with our father God.
I love this. Wednesdays are usually my day to just stay off social media and just give God all of my attention. I was doing it way before we all were quarantined into our houses. It just helps me not be dependent on social media and just rest in Gods presence. ♥️
This is refreshing to see, especially in this season with the COVID19. God sits on the throne, and many of us have demonstrated that if we didn't have to work so much, or have to do school work, or run so many errands, or xxxxx, THEN we could have more time to spend with God. Well, now that God has slowed the pace down for the whole world, now what's our excuse? Now hat we are in the house-many of us our bored with Netflix and can only look at so much online...but what about God. This intentional time with The Lord that you've shown is soooo key to our relationship with Jesus, especially since He is a free-will God....the choice is ours. Thank you for sharing this. That's good to hear that you'll be taking time off. Like the passage that says, "You said, 'Seek my face.' I said, 'LORD, your face I will seek.'" When we hear that call from the Lord, that means he wants to restore and replenish you. I have been having a long rest from ministry. Very much needed.
I wrote the whole Genesis in my note book, and now working on Exodus. I didn't understand why I was lead to do this, but someone said, there was a reason trust in God. (I've read Gen 3 times) I've notice that today and all week I've been distracted by negative things of this world, so I contacted my brother in Christ to do a challenge with me and share it with everyone. From 6-9 pm est put away all electronic devices (unless using it for bible hub or e-sword) and read our bible. It was refreshing to do this and the confirmation that I'm doing the right thing is "this video", which was posted around 9:30 pm est. (haha, God has a sense of humor). Absolutely ADORE THIS! Was planning on filming a similar video, I’m Seventh Day Adventist and we have this day of rest every week-Saturday the sabbath day! We take a break from work or homework or TV and go to church and focus on God the entire day, just like this video! I love listening to sermons and podcasts and taking walks (I did like 5km today!! It doesn't feel like enough. I've just gathered my Bible and journalling supplies to spend more time with the Lord. Thank you so much. I've been living with infertility for 15 years and you are so right. Joy is found in the Lord. I realised that around 5 years ago and His Word changes everything. I understand the "physical resting" but not "mentally resting" that is why mentally we need to be renewed and yes we DO so much that when we don't do anything we begin to feel anxious because we are not keeping still! I've experienced this so many times! :o

This was very eye opening. I too put my value in the things that I do and I've been finding it incredibly hard to be forced to stay inside where I can't go out and live my normal, busy routine. But as you pointed out, it is more important to sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to His teaching than anything else I could fill my life with. It's reassuring to know that I am not the only one struggling with this and I am thankful that I found your video. I wish I could do this. But as a mom of 2 small kids, it’s quite impossible 😄 but I’m learning to talk to god as I go through all the activities of my day.. I used to switch on my phone to keep me company through my activities but it’s a distraction from me talking to god and hearing him.. so I’m going to start talking to him as I go through my day..

While I watched this I had just finished reading Ecclesiates 3 and God told me to make him a priority, to take the time to spend some quality time with him because he had things to say to me. He talked about the different seasons of our life, but that we need to rejoice in the gifts he gives us in our time of waiting. When you mentioned only spending 5 minutes on a Bible app that hit my heart because over the last few weeks that’s all I’ve been dedicating to the father because I’ve been so distracted and preoccupied by other things so now I want to completely change that and get back in my Bible and read at least a chapter a day and take good notes and stay in prayer.

I’ve been doing this somewhat for quite a while now. The first thing I desire every day now is to hear from the Lord especially if it’s a scripture in the Bible that helps me get my day started. Or I’ll wait on the Lord in prayer until He gives me a Word. I just cut out watching TV period, the only thing I watch is the evening news and encouraging videos on YT of other Christians testimonials concerning these times we are living in and that’s it. I spend almost all my time in His Word and prayer. What greatly helped me was when I took all the sports apps off of my phone, because of the notifications that was going to be a distraction. Because I had all the sports apps on it. When I did this the next day all the sports got canceled or suspended due to this virus thing. That gave me confidence I was doing the right thing. The Lord then told me I’m going to fill you” because I gave up my things. What made me do this was I heard a woman say on YT. If Jesus gave it all up for me, how come I couldn’t do the same. All the distractions in reality have been removed. So we all can make some more time for the Lord. Now people with children at home especially now, you may have to ask the Lord to make a way for you to do this because parenting is an all day thing with no breaks so I completely understand.Thank you for this video it’s going to encourage a lot of people God Bless You

Thank you for being such an encouragement! I am an about to be 20 year old single girl and this past year I have just been reflecting on what this stage of life is supposed to look like. The world says its time to be selfish, party and work hard but I have been trying to find out how God wants me to use this time. I have been lamenting some about the lack of examples on the internet, there are lovely godly women out there but most are married or just in a different headspace. I feel like God just used you to remind me that I'm not alone and me wanting to commit this time to the Lord is not crazy. I'm so thankful for your example and desire for the Lord. When a decision is unclear, ask yourself these questions: Will Christ be glorified in this choice? Can I do this in Jesus’ name? If either answer is no, then don’t follow that path, because the Holy Spirit is not guiding you there. His leading always aligns with Scripture and brings glory to Christ.

Hi friend! Great question. I love that you are digging deep into scripture. I would encourage you to not in-depth study every page. As you read through the entire Bible, your goal should be to look for the major themes and over-arching storyline. To in-depth study every page might be hard/long. When you come across verses or chapters that really stand out to you / touch your heart - choose to in-depth study those! That way you are still in-depth studying here and there. ALSO, the enemy wants to keep you as far away from the Bible as possible - I want to encourage you to persevere through this dry spell. God blesses those who seek Him and who He draws near to those who draw near to Him. YOU GOT THIS!

Marsalia Bermudez This is nothing to fear. As long as you have Jesus in your life you have nothing to fear. He is with you even throughout all this chaos.
Look up all the verses on fear in the Bible and write it down. When you feel afraid or need assurance, read them, mediate on them, use them to pray. I struggled with fear so I did this. I wrote it in my journal, decorated the page real nice and it has helped me. I do this for any challenge I am going through and it helps. May God give you peace!

Bethel Church as well as Hillsong propagate a lot of false teaching that seeps through in a lot of their worship songs... we need to remember that false teachers would creep in unawares.
i listen to some Hillsong songs now but i’m thinking about taking a bit of a break from music and just let scripture be my songs to sing. don’t get me wrong, a lot of their songs inspire me and motivate me to get up and go to worship God but i really want to try praying and actually doing things myself instead of relying on music to be my only worship. we all need to worship- it’s not just through music- worship is a lifestyle and we need to take part in that lifestyle. the pastor of Hillsong church (carl lentz) is not someone whom we should follow... & the bethel worship group seem a bit.... well you should look up Spencer Smith and see his videos on Hillsong and Bethel worship music. i’m not saying that some of their songs aren’t good, i don’t really listen to bethel at all actually, i kind of only like one of their songs. but what i am saying is that we should TRULY look at the words and meanings of the songs we listen to and “keep watch” to make sure we aren’t being deceived by it. we need to stay reading and studying our Bibles and seek God in all that we do. however if you feel like you’re not strong enough in your relationship with God and you don’t need anything at all getting in your way or if you know that you probably won’t try to find the meanings of the worship songs you listen to then you probably shouldn’t listen to Hillsong or bethel for a while. I want to have that quality time with God. I pray everyday when I wake up and before I go to bed but mostly when I wake up. I also read bible devotionals online. But I know it's not enough. I live in a very small place with my husband and it's a little hard to have privacy. I need a deeper connection with God. I've been through a difficult journey and my husband and I are going through a life transition. It hasn't been easy but I am hopeful and God has been so good. Please keep me and hubby in prayer. I hope that you find that connection, time, and place with the Lord. I think we have all been there. In fact, I recently have been there for other reasons. And you know what? The Lord had been stripping a lot from me. I had been pioneering my own church, traveling to preach to middle school students, going into the juvenile hall to preach, evangelizing in the streets, and the list goes on. It was literally ministry, school, marriage, and family 7 days out of the week, until I burnt out, and I had to deal with some surfacing character issues. The most important above is simple: Intimate communion with the living God! Rest in him; that's what he wants for you. No need to strive in his presence.

Me 😭 My mid goes like “Maybe if I have a boyfriend I will be less lonely...maybe if I try to fit in with other people then I will have friends.” Is so hard to be strong being alone especially I’m in Uni and I live alone. I always ask God if He could give me visions to see Him and talk to angels. But I’m trying to be strong and have faith. 💗
I feel the same way sometimes. It can feel so lonely to live alone but it has a reason. God wants us to grow in this special seasons of life.

As a man, i wished and prayed for a christian woman in my life to marry and serve the Lord together, but only He knows if we are ready for it, if we should be married or not. First and foremost, we must seek Him, and everything else shall be added, according to His will. What we wish most of the time is not what God wished for us. We must trust Him FULLY NO MATTER WHAT. Before we ask Him for a husband/wife, we must repent of our sins, completly, then ask forgiveness, change our ways and follow Him. Then the Holy Spirit shall reside in us, bare fruit, so we can offer our partner what God wants us to offer, a clean heart that is :) Blessing to you, in Jesus name.

You have no Idea how blessings came in since I kept the 7th Day Sabbath. Friday at sunset open with Communion and prayer. And then I study the bible as long as I can. The longest I study is to 7am. Then I rest with no worries in the world

Rest for the soul is worshiping God everyday as that is what the seventh day of creation WAS originally intended as, the eternal day of unbroken fellowship between God and man. Christ reconciles through the cross restoration of that intended eternal 7th day for any day of the week for the beleiver because the day was pointing to the substance which is Christ. You can joyfully observe the Jewish Sabbath, but don't go crazy and turn into a seventh-day Adventist...because it'll go EXTREMELY DOWNHILL FROM THERE....TRUST ME.
Hi, Ashley! Here at my church in Brazil we have something like your day with God. Once a year the entire church opens a spiritual fast on a specific date called "the fast of daniel". For 21 days we keep disconnected with the world, social networks and secular information. We get away from things we like to do like playing video games, going out with friends, listen to music and watching TV and movies, except if it's something related to faith and church messages. On these days we dedicate ourselves more to meditating on the word and connecting more with things above. We have been doing this for years and God has blessed everyone who participates with a sincere and thirsty heart for God. Many people received the Holy Spirit on this date.

Being stuck at home for the past 3 weeks and haven’t been out because of the COVID-19. It’s a horrible thing that this is going on, but I also see the call from God letting us know this is now the time to have private time with Him, build a strong relationship, and even our families. I grew up religious but stopped praying in High School, spent decade of being depressed and alcoholic, now the Lord has filled me with new light and hope. I pray 7 times a day and fill my heart to God. I promise you if praise the Lord everyday, he'll conquer depression and will give you hope. I use to worry about my future , now I am passenger and God is my driver, I have nothing to fear because God has a plan for me and all of us.
I have battles often with following the flesh and following the spirit , I pray I'm able to make it to this level of comfort by the spending an entire day with our father God.
Let us Pray praying for you! We all have those battles - you are not alone!
I love this. Wednesdays are usually my day to just stay off social media and just give God all of my attention. I was doing it way before we all were quarantined into our houses. It just helps me not be dependent on social media and just rest in Gods presence. ♥️

God sits on the throne, and many of us have demonstrated that if we didn't have to work so much, or have to do school work, or run so many errands, or xxxxx, THEN we could have more time to spend with God. Well, now that God has slowed the pace down for the whole world, now what's our excuse? Now hat we are in the house-many of us our bored with Netflix and can only look at so much online...but what about God. This intentional time with The Lord that you've shown is soooo key to our relationship with Jesus, especially since He is a free-will God....the choice is ours. Thank you for sharing this. That's good to hear that you'll be taking time off. Like the passage that says, "You said, 'Seek my face.' I said, 'LORD, your face I will seek.'" When we hear that call from the Lord, that means he wants to restore and replenish you. I have been having a long rest from ministry. Very much needed.

I wrote the whole Genesis in my note book, and now working on Exodus. I didn't understand why I was lead to do this, but someone said, there was a reason trust in God. (I've read Gen 3 times) I've notice that today and all week I've been distracted by negative things of this world, so I contacted my brother in Christ to do a challenge with me and share it with everyone. From 6-9 pm est put away all electronic devices (unless using it for bible hub or e-sword) and read our bible. It was refreshing to do this and the confirmation that I'm doing the right thing is "this video", which was posted around 9:30 pm est. (haha, God has a sense of humor). Thank you sweetheart, keep posting your video's, everything happens for a reason.

Striving to find your worth in the Lord. 💜 Can I just say those feelings never go away. “If I just had, if our marriage was different, if I would have xyz, if I made more money, if I read my bible more”... whatever you’d say after if. I’m 37, married for 15 years, 4 kids. Have many things “right” in my life but many things “wrong”...satan comes to steal, kill and destroy our lives and families and many are walking around hurting because their worth was in other things and not in the Lord. I understand the "physical resting" but not "mentally resting" that is why mentally we need to be renewed and yes we DO so much that when we don't do anything we begin to feel anxious because we are not keeping still! I've experienced this so many times! :o

This was very eye opening. I too put my value in the things that I do and I've been finding it incredibly hard to be forced to stay inside where I can't go out and live my normal, busy routine. But as you pointed out, it is more important to sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to His teaching than anything else I could fill my life with. It's reassuring to know that I am not the only one struggling with this and I am thankful that I found your video. I am more eager to fill this time with His presence and find my identity in Him, rather than trying to find myself in things that aren't eternal. Thank you for sharing :)
I wish I could do this. But as a mom of 2 small kids, it’s quite impossible 😄 but I’m learning to talk to god as I go through all the activities of my day.. I used to switch on my phone to keep me company through my activities but it’s a distraction from me talking to god and hearing him.. so I’m going to start talking to him as I go through my day..

While I watched this I had just finished reading Ecclesiates 3 and God told me to make him a priority, to take the time to spend some quality time with him because he had things to say to me. He talked about the different seasons of our life, but that we need to rejoice in the gifts he gives us in our time of waiting. When you mentioned only spending 5 minutes on a Bible app that hit my heart because over the last few weeks that’s all I’ve been dedicating to the father because I’ve been so distracted and preoccupied by other things so now I want to completely change that and get back in my Bible and read at least a chapter a day and take good notes and stay in prayer.

I’ve been doing this somewhat for quite a while now. The first thing I desire every day now is to hear from the Lord especially if it’s a scripture in the Bible that helps me get my day started. Or I’ll wait on the Lord in prayer until He gives me a Word. I just cut out watching TV period, the only thing I watch is the evening news and encouraging videos on YT of other Christians testimonials concerning these times we are living in and that’s it. I spend almost all my time in His Word and prayer. What greatly helped me was when I took all the sports apps off of my phone, because of the notifications that was going to be a distraction. Because I had all the sports apps on it. When I did this the next day all the sports got canceled or suspended due to this virus thing. That gave me confidence I was doing the right thing. The Lord then told me I’m going to fill you” because I gave up my things. What made me do this was I heard a woman say on YT. If Jesus gave it all up for me, how come I couldn’t do the same. All the distractions in reality have been removed. So we all can make some more time for the Lord. Now people with children at home especially now, you may have to ask the Lord to make a way for you to do this because parenting is an all day thing with no breaks so I completely understand.Thank you for this video it’s going to encourage a lot of people God Bless You

The world says its time to be selfish, party and work hard but I have been trying to find out how God wants me to use this time. When a decision is unclear, ask yourself these questions: Will Christ be glorified in this choice? Can I do this in Jesus’ name? If either answer is no, then don’t follow that path, because the Holy Spirit is not guiding you there. His leading always aligns with Scripture and brings glory to Christ.

I'm in Exodus right now in the illustrating bible you recommended, however, it seems exhausting. I procrastinate and seem to dread my quiet time because it seems like a long working time. Hi friend! Great question. I love that you are digging deep into scripture. I would encourage you to not in-depth study every page. As you read through the entire Bible, your goal should be to look for the major themes and over-arching storyline. To in-depth study every page might be hard/long. When you come across verses or chapters that really stand out to you / touch your heart - choose to in-depth study those! That way you are still in-depth studying here and there. ALSO, the enemy wants to keep you as far away from the Bible as possible - I want to encourage you to persevere through this dry spell. God blesses those who seek Him and who He draws near to those who draw near to Him. YOU GOT THIS!

Look up all the verses on fear in the Bible and write it down. When you feel afraid or need assurance, read them, mediate on them, use them to pray. I struggled with fear so I did this. I wrote it in my journal, decorated the page real nice and it has helped me. I do this for any challenge I am going through and it helps. May God give you peace!

Bethel Church as well as Hillsong propagate a lot of false teaching that seeps through in a lot of their worship songs... we need to remember that false teachers would creep in unawares.
i listen to some Hillsong songs now but i’m thinking about taking a bit of a break from music and just let scripture be my songs to sing. don’t get me wrong, a lot of their songs inspire me and motivate me to get up and go to worship God but i really want to try praying and actually doing things myself instead of relying on music to be my only worship. we all need to worship- it’s not just through music- worship is a lifestyle and we need to take part in that lifestyle. the pastor of Hillsong church (carl lentz) is not someone whom we should follow... & the bethel worship group seem a bit.... well you should look up Spencer Smith and see his videos on Hillsong and Bethel worship music. i’m not saying that some of their songs aren’t good, i don’t really listen to bethel at all actually, i kind of only like one of their songs. but what i am saying is that we should TRULY look at the words and meanings of the songs we listen to and “keep watch” to make sure we aren’t being deceived by it. we need to stay reading and studying our Bibles and seek God in all that we do. however if you feel like you’re not strong enough in your relationship with God and you don’t need anything at all getting in your way or if you know that you probably won’t try to find the meanings of the worship songs you listen to then you probably shouldn’t listen to Hillsong or bethel for a while.
