When I first clicked on the video my first thought was, "Wow this kid is like 15 what would he know about cars?". But after watching a couple of videos I realized that you actually know your stuff and I am actually kinda impressed. Very informative and good quality. Thanks Aiman
5 years have passed, Aiman. I really hope you have continued to excel to even more difficult & interesting tasks. You remind me of myself when I was your age.
THANK YOU! I installed a backup camera, and every video I saw, they were trying to run the wire up to the front under the doors. I ran mine under the back seat to the middle, then followed the OEM wireing up under the center console. Super easy after I got it down the side of the seat to the back of the rear door. Your video is the one that made me choose that path, as getting that center console out was a breeze.
Good job! Very well orchestrated! Great to see a young man like you taking his time in doing it correctly. You're not a hack, we have alot of those these days. Carry on, the good workmanship!
Thank you, man, this video really helped me, I was dissasembling the panels to get to the handbrake and one of them was stuck in some weird way, but I solved it with this video.
Thanks EyeOnAiman, this is exactly what i needed i have the exact same car. The gear lever solenoid is malfunctioning causing gear lever to be sometimes stuck in park. Removing just one trim i could see the white plastic mechanism not always moving fully when pressing the brake pedal causing the stuck in park. I know there are other videos who identify the thumb switch, or the brake switch as the problem or a blown fuse but it's neither of these 3 in my case !! Thanks to your video i am hopefully going to be able to look at what is wrong with the solenoid mechanism.
thank you so much for this video. I’m completely detailing my 2007 Honda accord that my grandma bought new back in the day. It’s definitely going to be a task to say the least.
Thank you for posting these videos! I'm taking apart the complete interior of my 2007 Accord, and your videos are saving me a lot of time. Keep up the good work and Thanks again.
Excellent video that clearly instructs/illustrates how to remove the center console. I'll make it a point in the future that before I try other car projects that I will first check Aiman's video library to see if he has one. Great job and good luck with your video career.
hi do you know if those two lower trim panels below the stereo are able to be removed? (tan panels on each side) I think they are part of the dash itself and aren't modular but idk
I don't know if you'll get this but I'm desperate and will try anything at this moment. My Accord the gear shifter is just gliding back and forth showing only neutral and I'm told the pin has been dislodged and I know nothing about crap. Watching this video seems to be somewhat where I need to get into to find this supposed pin to replace or put back. If you could respond so I may get in touch with you man I'd owe you. Thank you for your time
I've got the same year and model Accord, after watching your video, have you ever done a video showing how to fix the lightning system that illuminates the transmission mode (Park, Neutral, Reverse and drives), the reason being mine no longer lights up and stays dark even with the headlights on. Assume the fuses are good, is there the Lightning strip or bulb? If it's a bulb, that's easy enough but if it's a light strip, that's a different story or fix.
dlj20607 Its just a bulb on the side all you have to do is take the shift bezel/trim off and it takes a 194 bulb. I didn’t even use a screwdriver to take the trim off I just pulled it off with my hands.
Did you take out the front console complicity? Please replay im planing to change cabin harness & i have to remove hole front console but i don’t know how. Thanks
No we haven't remove the entire front console. It looks like a tough job because you have to remove everything, but I think it should be manageable. Perhaps it's easier for you to just cut portion of the plastic using dremmel tool instead of taking everything apart. Cut section you want and then glue it back together, especially in section where it's not visible...

Good job bud!! You just saved me a lot of time and broken plastic parts!!! Keep doing what you're doing and you'll make it big in time!
I sell parts to these cars, you made me feel stupid a few times... Which is a good thing, I learned a lot. Thanks!
