Thank you, this was super helpful in that you showed exactly where to pull out & plug the bulb back in. I appreciate you taking the time to make and upload this!
Thank you! This was very helpful and I was able to change the bulb myself and save a lot of money. What I couldn't figure out was how you removed the knob in the gear shift. I couldn't get the darn thing off.
Thank you very much 👍 your a life saver 🙏 I was just like you, wondering if my shift lite was supposed to light up also then I ran across your video..thanks my Brother 🙏
I installed LED headlights on my 2011 Accord in now the passenger side turn signal is hyper flashing and the DRL light is on the dashboard. Any suggestions on how to fix these two issues? Thank You
Are you sure the blinker bulb is good and making a good connection? Something could have happened to them while changing and putting the LEDs in. I have known LED bulbs to draw less current so the flasher thinks the bulb is burned out and blinks fast to let you know. I was not aware that the head lights could cause the blinker to do that. Usually it's the blinker bulbs that have caused it. Not sure if related, but if you put the old ones back in and the problem goes away you will know. I believe they make some LEDs with resistive loads added to help with some of the above issues. Some are also designed to work with CAN bus on some vehicles.
Looks like you would have to trace the wires down far enough to make sure they are not damaged in any way or pulled out from another connector. If that is fine, you would have to find and follow a wiring diagram to see where the power is fed from. I did not have to go that far with mine. Best of luck to ya!
This may help, I have not had to search for mine yet. www.hondaaccordforum.com/forum/general-tech-help-7/help-troubleshooting-gear-shift-label-light-2012-accord-68350/

Does the other interior lights (like radio and guage cluster backlighting) come on when the headlights are turned on?
