I choose my materials on the "buy the best and use less" principle; I measure my skill not just by what ends up on the canvas, but also by how much product gets washed down the drain or wiped off into the trash. "Easy acrylic" videos that encourage laying on the paint and then wiping to blend get pretty results but make me cringe for their wastefulness. Your technique/process gets great results and is by far the least wasteful of any I've seen, in addition to being emotionally satisfying. Many thanks!

Jane, you are the best instructor! I am an absolute beginner and had always thought I know nothing about painting or drawing...until I felt in love with painting thanks to your detailed explanations of brush techniques, color mixing, and all the other tips in your every tutorial. Thank you very much for sharing your talent and opening a new world to me.

Really enjoyed this the colors are my favorite, you inspiring me to paint again! Husband recently died and have been in a slump, he was my biggest fan! It's always been very therapeutic for me. Maybe a little more inspiration from you Jane will get me creating again. Thanks.
