@@ignatiushendrik4521 Hey! How's it going? We have a 17 week old corgi. She still bites but not as often, just when she wants to go inside. Still has accidents but they're all our fault for not watching her. She knows: Leave it, sit, stand, down (Laydown), touch, Yay! (Jump up with her paws up), couch, off, spin and we're working on stay. It's hard but totally worth it!
Im thinking about getting a cowboy corgi. The mom was very very unhappy about her little dog getting bred with a blueheeler

my hearteu is red lets just say it’s like they ignore you on purpose haha they are incredibly smart but they take time to train because they refuse to do it but it really depends on what ur corgi is like haha. my corgi took hours just to learn down but only a couple minutes to learn sit. it just depends. good luck on your corgi ;)

We've just gotten a 9 week old mixed breed (probably some beagle and shepherd mixed in there) female and the thought of training her was absolutely overwhelming. Now I've been watching your videos on clicker training and I feel so much more confident about teaching my little Amara! After one evening of using a clicker for positive reinforcement she has already learned it means "Good job!" and is so very close to sitting on command! Thanks again!!!

I know you probably live somewhere where it never snows or it is never cold, but can you please make a video on how to exercise your dog in those conditions. (BECAUSE I LIVE IN CANADA, THANK YOU).
this is a good one. I'm from Michigan and we may not have as much snow as Canada but winter clothes for my new pup will be a must. but good idea's for winter workouts would be nice specially for small or medium size dogs. 12 inches of snow and a 14 inch tall dog isn't much fun for the dog sometimes.

I love your videos. I've been training my dogs since childhood, but only transitioned to a clicker a couple years ago. Amazed at how much faster they learn! I've also noticed that they don't get frustrated as quickly. I may be biased, but shelties are paws down the cutest puppies!

I treat my dog every time he stays still in the bath, i make it exciting and fun for him, although he hates having a bath, he doesn't jump out as much as he did when i first washed him.

I'm getting a dog today or tomorrow I'm so excited after 6 years of research taking care of dogs and the person were with has another dog so he will get plenty of attention and I have a infinite budget and have had past dogs that grew and my life has basically been revolved around them and I help trained some of my friends dog so that their calmer on the leash and I've watched Cesar Millian the absouloutley best dog trainer that doesn't include any cruelty!
Ps if you have any tricks on helping a puppy make sure to comment them I haven't really kept a puppy only grown up dogs :)

Hi Zak:) I love your videos and have also purchased on Amazon and highly recommend it. I wish I had read it before we adopted Chloe, I'm sure it would have made house-training among other things easier. Chloe is a 6 month old Yorkie and seems to be a quick learner. The advice to teach your dog "Drop it" is great and she has that down pat, which will come in handing since Chloe likes to pick up stuff on our walks.
I would like to train her to ring the bell to go outside. Since she is so small, I opted for the desk bell that you tap on top to ring. We have been ringing it ourselves and say "outside" most times we take her out. I'm sure she will learn the "touch it" as far as touching my hand goes, but how would you transition that to touching other objects like the bell?

I'm curious to know what the other tricks are that 'touch it' can lead towards!
It's hard for me to use lures and it was hard to teach things like lie-down to my 15-week bulldog as he just tries to bite your hand as one of his "tactics" of getting the treat.
I had to teach him lie-down by holding the treat just outside the crate and luring him towards the ground so he couldn't gnaw my hand off - but he does know it now without biting!
Maybe I will try 'touch it' through the crate too if he just wants to bite! He may get better with the lures as he gets older (I hope!)
p.s you should do an English bulldog video!!

Hi Zak, I've noticed in most videos you use a traditional leash. Would you say the leashes that are retractable/extendable shouldn't be used when walking dogs? I know the traditional leash probably makes most sense when they're just hanging close in the house for training but as far as everyday use would you recommend it over the other kind? Thanks! really appreciating these videos! My puppy hasn't even been conceived yet but I'm already basically in nesting mode lol
