There is this tinge of nostalgic melancholy in Sing Yesterday for Me that is more captivating than most any anime I've seen in a long time. Everything is so gray and still, but also feels so close to atleast my daily life. I dunno why, but as somebody stuck in one endless track in his daily life, this show feels very familiar. Almost painfully so at times.
I watched the first episode just before this video and immediately thought “this is going to be something special”. It seems I’m not the only one that felt that way.

I absolutely love the introduction of tower of god in this video. I seriously view that transition as nothing short than art itself. I can literally feel my mind pacing and my heart race while my body transcends into a multitude of dimensions that push my soul into a clear state of badassness. I had to re watch that segment of the video three times just to feel that feeling more and more and still has not eluded me. Gigguk, is definitely my style of content and that alone, I fuck with heavily. "otome game villainess reincarnation" has actually been a massive light novel trend for the past few years, but Bakarina's is definitely one of the most popular. part of the appeal is that she's incredibly idiotic, and thus really funny, but the anime adaptation isn't nearly as hilarious as the books so far. if it does well we're gonna be seeing a metric fuckton soon, though I actually like them because the protagonist typically has a goal they're working towards and enough of a personality and a work ethic to (kind of) justify their harem, unlike most light novels.
Really? I never liked the light novel or the manga I mean it was funny but I hate harems lol, especially when everyone one they so much as look at are suddenly in love with them...
'Accomplishments of the Duke's Daughter' introduced me to the genre. And if you haven't read it yet then you should. It's the best among the otome genre.

I absolutely love the introduction of tower of god in this video. I seriously view that transition as nothing short than art itself. I can literally feel my mind pacing and my heart race while my body transcends into a multitude of dimensions that push my soul into a clear state of badassness. I had to re watch that segment of the video three times just to feel that feeling more and more and still has not eluded me. Gigguk, is definitely my style of content and that alone, I fuck with heavily. If I had the time I would compile each and every time a segment like this has blown me away into a video and post it as one of Gigguks, greatest, down in the history books... of anime.

"otome game villainess reincarnation" has actually been a massive light novel trend for the past few years, but Bakarina's is definitely one of the most popular. part of the appeal is that she's incredibly idiotic, and thus really funny, but the anime adaptation isn't nearly as hilarious as the books so far. if it does well we're gonna be seeing a metric fuckton soon, though I actually like them because the protagonist typically has a goal they're working towards and enough of a personality and a work ethic to (kind of) justify their harem, unlike most light novels.
