Bobby that damn tail ! You were doing so well, good review but I went all in with the blitzway one and that’s my definitive one and only voltron. If I’d not bought that, it would of been the one I purchased instead.
Bobby, you didn't break that tail, man. I have this figure and my tail came out of the box exactly like that on that ball peg. I think it's a factory defect on some of them. I've contacted threezero about it. but my tail looks exactly like yours, so rest assured you did not break it. in fact I started watching this video to see if your tail peg looked like mine, which it does.
mine came attached, so when I started playing with the figure, the tail just popped out and I thought I broke it with an "oh fuck" expression. glad to see it was just a defect. it wasn't the only one that popped out. the side panel on the yellow lion which had that flat screw design popped out. from what I saw, the figure had some bad gluing on them.
@THEShoky Well right, but he could've just stood them next to each other for a few seconds without going in depth. Why have a comparison segment in a video and not do the most obvious comparisons? Especially when he owns the others?
It’s interesting - Of the high-end Voltrons, this one (for me) encompasses the complaints you’ve got surrounding the current Masterpiece TF trend toward toon accuracy. Looks like it jumped straight out of the dodgy 80s control art. The proportions feel more like a guy in a really, really killer Voltron cosplay suit, rather than the more exaggerated, anime proportions of Bandai & Blitzway’s offerings. Excellent stuff if that’s the aesthetic you’re after, but I think I’ll stick with the more stylized mecha look of the other options.
They overpriced this. More 150-200$ Extremely lightweight plastic, very little to no Dicast, No display Base, No Spear and sculpt wise it's a clone of the SOC. Would like to have this one but 300$ maybe later if the price Drops.
I’m not sure if dude was trying to be cute or clever or what, but constantly referring to the lions as “cats” was annoying and odd. It’s go LION. Or the Voltron LIONS. Weird. Besides that, pretty good review.
I just got one of these from a retro toy shop. Did not even know it existed. I have a SOG voltron and this just caught my attention. Very cool.
Arm lions look like they connect with sparkplugs. 😂😂😂
AC Voltro
Ok I HAD to give this comment a 👍

Blitzway still looks like the best one available, but I'm still perfectly happy with my SOC.
Losing the streak to a design flaw is shenanigans of the highest order, damn you three zeroooooooooooo!
Still think the SoC is the best offering, nothing is missing and you have the most premium paint you can ask for.
Would be interesting to compare against Blitzway Voltron (which I guess is much more expensive)
the lego one is till the best in my heart
There is something about the arms that throws me off. 🤨🤔 Is it the size of the lion heads? Look kinda small.

it's deceptive because if you stick it on there it stays on, until you move it, then it pops off. that's why it's on there in earlier footage.
Adding my voice to the chorus. My tail came out of the box that way too.

Bobby why didn't you do a comparison with your SOC and your original Voltron?
Because a versus may be coming

It was a good run!!!
You didn't break it Bobby lol. Mine was the same out the box
Oh, man... I dream of this toy since I was a boy (many centuries ago...)!!!
Trying to decide rather to pull the trigger on this or not. I have the SOC and the Blitzway Voltron, this one seems like a SOC with leg covers imo.

this is supposed to be the ultimate voltron set, i just wish it wasnt so damn expensive.
Bobby-Got-A-Tiger-By-The-Tail-Face
10:15 - oh crap! 😕
Is there a Voltron that is the same size as Zeta combiners?
Hard to completely trust anyone who put the lion ears out on black lion 😂
Why are Voltrons always so expensive?
Pouring one out for the streak
nice
Shout-out to Onyx
Bang for the buck just get the knock off muscle bear Voltron
Just a bland, brick. For a threezero, which I like this company very much, they made a simplistic skimpy build. ❤😂
See and you want extra points in the last video i commented on! Hit 100 and then we can talk lol!!!
Way more limited articulation that I would’ve expected from a ThreeZero offering 🤔
Loins dude
Shouldve listened to Han. You got cocky kid.
Are we sure that that tail doesn't come apart for a more clean look in the back? I don't believe that broke that easily
Yes. We are 100% sure.
@@MythsAndHeroes 😕 was it the waist swivel / ab crunch?

First early hahahahah
Garbage VOLTRON
Ahhhh I was hoping it was the new Voltron... still cool tho. Well made.... a shame it broke
