Loving this series very much so far! Not just because it is about delicious food (I mean, HELLO, how can someone not like that?), but also because it really shows your skill in conceptualizing, planning, scripting and implementing that said concept - it drops some interesting informations, shows us around town and introduces us to special treats. I love the idea of not just going on and about but talking and kind of "adventuring" through the city with local foodies. The quality of your audio made a huuuuge leap, these external microphones I'm seeing there really do their job. And its also nice to see that you yet stay true to yourself, this is so much more personal and authentic than many other youtubers who start special series. So much love for you, your creativity and ideas! Keep up the fun, Taylor! ^o^ Much much love from Germany!
I didn't know that cats in restaurants are considered good luck. My aunt in Hong Kong feeds around 5 that always play around the feet of the customers and I thought she was just being nice by keeping them around :o
I like plain egg waffles the most, without all the ice cream or sauces as they do in these fusion places, but the experience of making the waffles yourself sounds so cool! So jealous! I thought of getting my own egg waffle machine (seen it in few appliance stores around Dragon Centre), but it will probably end up in huge mess and fire :D PS can't wait to watch it with the sound - lurking during work time! :D
I think if I had to put ice cream on it, the flavour would be matcha - the high percentage, very bitter matcha ice cream (one of the shopping malls in HK offers you different degrees of matcha in matcha ice cream :D), but then since the outside of the waffle is bit crispy I would be worried it would get soggy from the ice cream :-( #foodieproblems :D
If you haven't tried the Spoonful buffet restaurant in Brampton, you should pay a visit as they have the plain egg waffles there. They are good if they are made fresh but still taste okay even if they are cold.
This gets better and better every episode, nice one guys! Loved seeing you get in there to try making something yourself. Hope you get to do a more of that as it adds a nice touch of Tay-d.i.y. to the episodes.
Tay Tay NEVER STOP modeling And this series is GREAT! Please keep it up this gives such great insight to food and a culture most of us may not know about 😊
I'm honestly enjoying these videos so much! Even more so now that it isn't just you recording because I feel as though you can walk and talk more comfortably? And I am getting so many ideas about what I should try when I go and have a trip to China. So informative, entertaining and pretty! Thank you Taytay!
I think Honkong is my dream destination for desserts because I love fruits, sago and black sesame flavored sweets! I'm also a fan of red bean flavored anything~ Also, I love Jessica's whole vibe. She's really bubbly and happy and I hope you guys meet as often as possible.
I think the next investment in equipment you should do is a stabiliser for the camera since your production level has been improving! I love what youve been putting out lately
You have improved a lot! the camera is not shaking, there are differents takes of the signs or places, i like how you talked and put prices in the food. You are getting better, can wait for more videos.
I highly recommend that you try the Mango Noodles (芒果河粉) dessert in Sai Kung! Can't wait to see what you're trying next week! Thank you for making this! Watching this series is making me less homesick~!
Oh Taylor you went to my hometown again❤️all the dessert places u went to are their signatures!! really enjoying watching your vids in a whole different sight! it made me missing Asia more. Hope I can meet you up one day and introducing more delicious Asia dishes to you xx
This was really well made!!! I love how you made this docu type of vlog! And I really can tell that you really worked hard on making this Tay, I have been watching you, in a non creepy way, for a very long time! you have really evolved in YT. I think you should make more food vlogs like this. I also really like the idea of you actually making the dessert and how you were also, very intuitive with the food description...it feels like I'm there eating it! moreee, please!! -Lyka
Loves that episode ! So fun as always ! And nice try at the egg waffle, you did good :D Filming as improved a lot too ! Keep working on it girls, you'll find the perfect balance ❤️ Can we suggest ideas ? Like: Vegan, vegetarian, most unusual food, oldest shops or best coffee shops 🌟
I've been having a hard time with ny depression and didn't get out of bed for 4 days haha. But your video made me wanna go out and get some food 💖 thank you so much 💖💖
This is very educational despite living in Hong Kong I’m still not familiar with a lot of the foods in Hong Kong and I’m not motivated to tried it but this video really encourages me to try more
Love love love Asian desserts. Always fresh, refreshing, light, multi textured, not too sweet or rich.
Perfect way to describe it ✨

that's why when I'm in the uk...I get easily disgusting bc of how sweet and heavy it is and I just crave Chinese desserts so much bc it's so light
Assistant-san, your filming has improved a lot. Good job!

This series started out strong and keeps getting better! Your effort really shines. Thank you for adding the prices back in 😊

My Hong Kong Husband I love them plain too. If I were to try it with ice cream it would have to be maybe just plain vanilla ice cream.
