Dwarf Keys will not work with the 2D radar. It is possible for us to create a 2D radar key, but in order to bring you the best Modpack possible, we have to weigh options like "is it worth the inventory space to have this item" and ultimately it was decided that a 2D radar key isn't worth creating. Perhaps if we get enough requests or see a lot of players using the radar parts, this might change. But so far it doesn't look like players are using the radar parts as much as the other parts.
@@ScrapMechanicMods Looking foward to the updates, especially the ability to get players cordinates. If I remember right Brent Batch said that in the upcoming update you can get the players cordinates by somehow combining an x-o-meter and an orientation block.

Hopefully the guy finishing his exams and I can work on some Modpack updates this weekend. Then I'll update the download link for non-steam players...looks like it will be a DEC 2018 link.
There are problems with creating a "smart light" at this time, but that is on our todo list already. A couple of smart lights, and smart tote bot. Those are the last few parts for the main modpack we have planned. As soon as we can get them working they will be added in!
If you are tracking more objects, the blip will flicker between the objects you're tracking. If you are tracking just one object, it will not flicker We might be able to improve this later

"the modpack" is the top of the shop mod in scrap mechanic the situation with mods is a little confusing lately with all these game updates and broken steam workshop we're working on it, update for 0.5.1 will be out on scrapmechanicmods.com as a file mod you have to manually install (because steam workshop is blegh) So you just wanna watch out for your game version in the main menu it says at the bottom 0.5.1 or something (used to be 0.3, 0.4.8, 0.4.9, 0.5, and now 0.5.1) So keep in mind which version you're playing on + check which version of the mod you're downloading from the website. That's it! If you have 0.5.1 game, and you see modpack file mod 0.5...it probably won't work since they are not the same version :/ It's a pain in the butt, even for the mod makers... but we're working on making things better in for the future, so for now just keep in mind your version numbers and you should be fine. If the mod doesn't have a recent update yet, just wait, hopefully the mod maker will update as soon as they can (including the modpack file mod, from me)

There is a video on this channel with a download link - but that is probably a little bit outdated. Either way, our mods are being updated very soon, and we'll release a video about all the new stuff soon as well Also check out "The Modpack BETA" and "The Modpack Polygons" (it's sort of like a brand name - will probably change to SMM or something)

It is available in The Modpack Legacy Support on the workshop; although I'm not sure it does anything anyway (like I said, just to load old blueprints to take them out and resave them new)

If you use a painter block with the radar thing and pointer thing we get homing missiles that can track specific targets

The dwarf key is not needed anymore. The 3D radar simply works without it to display as many dwarfs as possible. Yes, no flicker
Durf, Is it possible, with out it being to difficult, to mack a colour changing dynamic light that works like your RGB Block?
