I like the stretching exercises Eleni, plus the variety in your routines. I'm sure this must help with improving suppleness, which is what I need. Very soothing music as well.
I can assure you no one in our office would recommend this for back pain. If you're back is in pain you should see a professional. Not do a UA-cam workout video. You may have muscle weakness in a certain part of the back in which case stretching is NOT recommended. Its important to locate which muscle groups are causing pain and to find the actual cause of the pain. Many muscle strains require healing and building, not stretching!
I work in a PT OFFICE and am a chronic sufferer of lower back pain and Pilates has fixed my back by 95%. Everyone should use their own discernment and obviously if you like can’t move that should be pretty obvious to go see a dr. However I can personally attest that Pilates does in fact help back pain 💯 there are also many stretches that help.
Every time I get back pain I do workouts that focuses on strengthening back muscles and it always helps. I believe most people have back pain because their muscles are just weak.
Totally agree. I went to see a back doctor. Said to do strengthening exercises. Obviously if you're in a lot of pain and discomfort then consult with a doctor.
