First time I heard a youtuber do this ad, when they said "Amazing storyline" and then "hundreds of champions". I thought to myself "well this is straight up contradictory."
A storyline cannot be interesting (let alone amazing) with that many characters. You cannot get emotionally attached to that many "champions".
Also "hundreds of champions" is really stretching the meaning of the word "champion". The point of a champion is that there aren't many of them...

It's like saying that there are many characters in DC Comics or in the Star Wars extended universe.
Do you know how many characters there were in the original Fate/Stay Night? 17.
That means that there were more episodes in the first anime season (24) than there were characters.
Every subsequent storyline in the Fate series has stayed true to this formula, each introducing its whole new set of few characters to tell a new story.
If you add all these stories, that's indeed a lot of characters.
You only care about many characters because it's been built up slowly.

He’s basically playing level 4 of 336 on repeat though and the first 14 levels are basically introductionary to the game. This is the campaign though which is basically the easiest part of the game.

It's so refreshing to hear a UA-camr talk about exactly how much money they would get from an advertisement, no wonder some of my favourite channels just fell for this.

In a lot of cases it can be a breach of contract to discuss money it's also not something many people do in person as it comes off really bad, youtube also actively advises creators, "Do not share how much you make with youtube or sponsorships"
my experience is that the medium sizes creators don't talk about money but many really big ones do and small ones too (since they don't get a lot i guess). as an example asmongold talks a lot about how much money he earns from youtube/twitch etc. but that's just my personal observation

Ten million could have been used to make a mobile game so great that people would be lined up to throw their cash at them to play. I got ADHD, raid graffic is suck. I like playing HI3, stardew valley and minecraft PE on my phone.

You know, I actually installed this game out of a mixture of boredom and curiosity about a month ago. I uninstalled it about an hour later after:
- The absolute very first thing I saw after downloading the game was THREE popups for the cash shop.
- I joined the Discord and noticed the most popular reaction on every post from the devs was the middle finger.
- I went to the forums where they had a zero tolerance policy for suggestions relating to certain aspects of monetization.
- Cash shop prices were 10-20x what they should be given what they offered. You could literally spend thousands on the game and not get past whatever paywall you were trying to conquer.
Holy shit what a monstrosity in the gaming world this game is.
Such poetry. I've taken a liking to people ripping this "game" apart, hitting all the right notes, and saying "no" to the bribery so as to not lie to their subscriber base.
By the way, what's the music in the end? I hear that over the radio before two local talk show hosts start a morning show but no one knows what it is. Sounds very familiar, like "Burn It Down", by Linkin Park.

I played raid for quite a long time, and what you said about it being in-your-face with popups resonated so hard. Every single time you want to enter the main menu - from the shop, from a game, from your inventory - you get a popup that can't be skipped for a few seconds. One for each event (nearly always 1 or more), one for each available upgrade, one foe each sale, plus a few 'hints' to buy this pack or that bundle. There's ads too. Your playtime is so scarcely spent playing, even for an idle game. Autobattle, manage heroes, popups. Emphasis on the latter...
Did you know: Raid reached out to paul from Mitten Squad and it pissed him off so bad that his video (think it was can you beat fallout 3 with only the repellent stick) was full of digs at Raid.

7:00 thanks a lot for showing the actual script for once, it's very important to me. I much rather see the thing myself than hear someone else talk **about** it. I read it fully and... it's not about "not leaving room for the content creator" it's more about them thinking "we're going to give you this much money and employ you to do a commercial for us"... think about the commercials on TV. The people don't do it to be themselves, they're actors for a product and they get money for it. It's just an ad.... however the very clever part, unlike when you watch a movie with arnold schawrzenegger and then the commercial cuts to something completely different with a different person like a lady talking about tampons, imagine arnold blending it to seem like it's his oppinion, that he is genuinely excited to talk about some leather jackets that he claims he wears. But actually doesn't wear.
This is the next level of manipulative tactics, THAT is the real problem. The problem isn't "it isn't giving room for content creators". No, they're hijacking your channel and your identity.
You can usually tell the quality of a game based on marketing and promo art especially if it’s not from a huge company like Blizzard or Riot
not really, Genshin Impact gets plenty of ads everywhere and even though I don´t play it I know the game is pretty solid

Then you have big channels like "Thoughty2" advertising the game. I used to watch it, until I saw that, that's pretty low, he has over 3 mill subscribers. The channel also about educating and informing people, so seeing that crap game on the channel would have had big impact on some people to try it out and "join" Thoughty2 in-game guild.
My first thought when I saw that much sponsorships from Raid was: "How much budget went to markenting instead of development?"

Actually its really ineffective to mine crypto on a single mobile device especially when competing with purpose build mining rigs. That being said, with the number of downloads raid has, its might actually be feasible with the millions of phones pitching in their share to make a profit. In the end, it doesn’t really matter because people will spend their life’s saving on a stupid mobile game that no one honestly enjoys

Respect.!! Most people would have just taken the money and made a promotion video for it. Nice to see some still stick by their own beliefs. I actually tried the game a bit over 2 years ago, after the tutorial I only had to set up an auto clicker app and let the game run for a few days to get enough xp, etc. Without effort finishing the first map in 1 go.
I´ve watched many of your videos, but this one earns you a new subscriber. I know thats not as profitable as a raid-add, but at least you don´t have to sell your soul.
