The RGT Jimny rules! We've done some modding to ours and now it's our go to rescue vehicle. Yeah, when it's cold and we're running RCs in the back yard from inside our warm home we got the Jimny on standby to flip cars back over.
nice video! i have a WPL C54 that made that same noise. i found that under tension when i was turning that the spindle for the gearbox to drivehsaft was loose and every time i turned the driveshaft shifted that spindle enough to jam up the gears in the gearbox. I usually end up upgrading/replacing most stock parts of my WPL trucks.
As a long time WPL fan, these are great for the price. Plus with the official WPL upgrades, they are pretty fun. Definitely not a full comp truck or a 4s rock bouncer. But great little trail trucks! You also have different rates for the steering and throttle.
I got an RC with some funky instructions a while back. It was a fun opportunity to use the auto translate function on the phone. It was like using one of those de-coder things we played with as kids, but for reals this time. 😁
I would really love to see a tear down of the thing, check out the insides of axles and figure out the noise? ...Then begin the upgrades! Cute lil truck for scale things. Woulda liked to see under the body as well!
These are true size to scale. It’s the same vehicle as a Suzuki samurai here in the USA. The samurai was replaced with tge geo tracker/Suzuki grand vitera, which is what the fms version is also which was still short wheelbase but wider, because the jimny/samurai liked to roll over.. this thing is sweet, I want one
FMS uses a 10th scale chassis that most 10th scale cars use. The wpl is probably accurate in its wheel base if you did the math. The gears sound terrible.
Great video and water testing guys! How much bigger is this than an MN 99? Are they pretty much the same size? To answer your question at the end of the video, I’d say yes, if you were laying on a hammock dressed like that , you would remind me of a banana! 😝✌🏼

@@TheLoneLlama yeah, unfortunately mayor brands made people think that 10th scale = 320ish mm wheelbase and not the real scale... but tbh I kinda understand that it nowadays means 10ish scale hardware used (12mm hex, 5mm input/output shafts etc...) and C74 still uses 16ish hardware (not mine tho :D I built custom chassis for it)

Replace the esc and radio with a axial scx24 v1, works the very best in the b36. I have a video of it.
In case you didt know, it does have dual steering rates and dual throttle rates. Hit those two buttons on the remote

Yea they are! I think they make a two speed. Not a ton of room inside thanks to the interior but we could for sure make something fit.
