Just to clarify.... I didn't say it's 'Cheap'..... I said it's possibly the 'Cheapest' Fully Loaded RC Crawler you can buy. It cost me £336 Delivered, and just for reference the TRX4 (with a winch) is £620 in the UK. £336 Vs £620... Just saying 😅

dangit! i was JUST about to head to my LHS for RedCat GEN 9.. Now i'm up in arms! the winch is kinda f*n awesome, and this seems like a REDCAT but not branded as one because radio controller?
@@rogueFactor redcat gen 9 is 400$, this is 537$. Even if the are the same price I would get redcat, or to be honest, trax4 sport is the best crawler for the money

Put one on my whish list, but prices seems to have risen a bit.. €550 for me 😓.
Owning 4 RGT models and have to say I'm always impressed by the value for the money they give.
And plenty of spare and upgrade parts available.
This one looks like a cheaper alternative to a premium brand, but certainly capable of holding his own.

Sure, it's really nicely kitted. But for me in Sweden, it's almost 200 bucks more than a SXC10 II. RTR. So I could get the SCX10 and kit it for like 150, and still come out cheaper.
Sure, this is insanely speced, all the goodies. And I bet it's not a bad truck, rather the opposite. But it's a lot of money for off-brand.

Bad ass looking rig! Phil, I know it's a little older but you should look into the rebel rc rebelcon ( aka as the absima sherpa/ yikong yk4102 for you on your side of the pond) fully loaded with lockable diffs too..I love mine !

Beautiful camera work! And that's a great start to the MORR wrecker, but it's going to take some real dedication to design and print all the pieces to make it close.

I like it. Only issue in the US I couldn’t get replacement drivetrain parts in 2 days or less. Most non drivetrain parts I could fab or adapt something but drivetrain stuff is pretty specific. It’s nice that the transmitter has a real momentary switch for a winch. I hope they sell those transmitters by themselves. It looks like Redcat uses the same manufacturer for transmitters too
The axles also look real "gen 8" or "gen9" to me
I think it’s a dumbo RC radio though I can’t em ever which one.

You got me Atwood largest wrecker. Then I see in description, Matt's off-road recovery. I follow MORR, TrailMater or Roy and Paul with FabRats. Definitely want to see you make this into the heavy wrecker!
Cool truck. I didn't know that the dig function was even a thing. The quality looks there, and as much as I tend to slather grease all over gear trains, they don't need 'that' much. Some is good though.

Realise you reviewed this rig. Was considering the Rescuer V2 but the price on this is whats keeping me going for this in the coming weeks.. Where I'm from this cost around 300usd so considering what it offers I'm going for it! 😂
I love the inner fender covers on it, for sure gonna be the rgt i go for, but ill be swapping those portals out for straight axles
Why swap out the portals?

Bro redcat,ftx and rgt is literally sharing the same exact parts. Just a bit additional from their company. Scx10 II has 100% same axle as rgt ex86100v2 lol. RGT is a premium crawler brand from HSP which is sharing most
parts with Redcat.
Buy an RGT and find an Axial parts. You can mount it lol

There nice trucks, I had an crusher. Still better off building a scx10ii builders kit though.
I wish it was possible to switch the steering to the other axle and switch the body around. That would give scale Rwd/4wd with a line lock on the front, and the winch in the front.
My dream crawler would have a reverse dig giving you selectable Rwd/4wd, high/low gearing, selectable locking front and rear diffs, a front winch, and a rear tow boom with winch. A rear dig and front line lock would be nice too.
Hi! Lovely video and very interesting craeler! Just recently got into this “sport” from the complete opposite sport if speedrunning and I have to say it’s quite fun! Or … much more fun than I expected 😁!
Quick question though…are the diffs in this locked? Ingit that you can’t remotely lock/unlock them but Inwas wondering if they are locked by default or if there is a non remote way to lock/unlock them!

It’s got some moulded parts on, but the body is lexan

RGT keep delivering. Traxxas fans just salty about having to pay extra for stuff that should be included. Looks like brass bits from the LandCruiser should fit portals/diffs.
What you should have put In the gears is marine grease and packed the bearings with it as well
