    I paid $300 for a crystalless JR Pro transmitter. It has a generic display like a old calculator lol. I used it all of 2 months and put it away. It has been sitting for 22 years. I have 2 Sportwerks Mayhem 1/8 nitro buggies and also a Traxxas Bandit. I just pulled it all back out now my kids are grown it's time for me to get back at it lol. I'm just going to play with them a little until I get a new buggy or truck lol. The Bandit came out in 1994. I bought that one in 2001. It had a mechanical speed controller lol.

      I have a Sportwerks Mayhem RTR and a Turmoil roller I have not built yet. I really like them. I was bummed when they dropped the brand not long after. Also Have 3 Losi LST\LST2. I have my share of JR radios...lol

    • @GrandPitoVic
      @GrandPitoVic 10 місяців тому +1

      Lol. JR was very popular 20 ish years ago. I took both of my Mayhems and changed the chassis to the Turmoil FCG. The forward centermof gravity was supposed to give it better handling. That was about 12 or 13 years ago, and I also completely rebuilt all of the diffs and shocks and pretty much made both new except the bodies. They were the RTR as well. But I change to all of the Pro parts on both buggies. They were very fast. I paid $499 in 04' for my first Mayhem. The second I got 13 years ago off of Ebay for $150. It was a roller.

    Please make comparative reviews! Compared to the endless parade of “this is great” videos on the platform, comparative reviews help illustrate the strengths and weaknesses of different competitors and are overall the most useful for potential buyers. Compare to racing itself: the whole point is to see who comes out ahead, not to say “well they’re pretty fast” about every individual in a vacuum. Thanks!

    Can you really only connect a single pair of LEDs to the X10FG?
    That's a bit small, to say the least, isn't it?
    That's not even enough for the front light and rear light 🧐
    I don't want additional switches. I also need all the other slots/channels.
    Couldn't I connect a total of 8 LEDs with 3 Y-cables (4x at the front (white) and 4x at the back (red) and then switch them on and off?
    That would be enough for me.
    Or is one slot on the receiver overloaded?
    Unfortunately I don't know anything about electricity, that's why I'm asking...

      @@AminbizznessRC Hi mate, A good friend of mine has that Radio Master. I was going to buy one as I have other Radio Master ELRS stick controllers and nothing comes close for me anyway... Having said that my friend is now regretting spending all that money (sort of, its a great radio) This Dumbo is made by them anyway and has ample fruit built in. It has a Crossfire port for eg. The response time is A1 for the racing we do, which is all 1/7 scale stuff. I cannot recommend this radio highly enough to be honest! Here's a bit of Trivia: The Man who started Radio Master was a design Tech for the said company of the radio you currently are using, He went out on his own and the rest is history. Great Radio's at great prices. BTW, I run a cheap $28 Dumbo on my Arrma Vendetta Speed Runner. Utilising its gyro. It has never once lost control, smashed or rolled at speeds that are right up there with these Speedrunners.
      You wont be dissapointed. All the best, Take care and God Bless you and yours. Bill - Australia.

You're pretty much limited to crab walking only. I loved this radio till I tried the 4 wheel steering on my crawler, it's a deal breaker for me. It also doesn't model lock so it doesn't matter what model it's set to if you forget to change models your endpoints will be for a different model as it will control any model binded from any saved profile.
