In this video we finally get to install a VRSF Cattless Downpipe in the M240i! It’s been a long time coming and I’m super hyped on how it sounds! We also decided to try and take advantage of the rain we had go do some drifting but that didn’t go too well for my open diff unfortunately.

you need to counter steer when ur going into those donuts thats how ur homies go into a nice circular motion give it a try

Do you need to have a tune after installing the down pipe?

I drove the heck out of my car with just the DP and no tune for quite a bit with no issues BUT it is highly recommended to get one to utilize the power benefits as well prevent the car from going into limp mode due to the O2 sensor freaking out due to the air to fuel ratio now being off. As well as get rid of the check engine light.

Dawg my dp was so fucking hard to get off the mid. I’ve heard some are welded. Any insight on that?

I can see how over time the rust may weld the v band clamp to the turbo and DP. Maybe some thing like long pry bars that you can hit with a hammer and tap everything apart slowly, or like a chisel of some sort to knock the rust down

@@ParkerTheRapper it’s not the dp to turbo connection leak bc I’ve tested that. Im referring to the dp to midpipe connection clamp. Wondering if that clamp is welded on the mid on some b58 variants

@@larryboy6577 oh interesting. Never seen one that was welded like that. I know you can get those one time use exhaust cutters that you use by hand and you could get one of those and then pick up one of those exhaust leak clamps to secure it back in place. What’s ur year make model?

I bought this as a daily for my M3, needs an LSD though I wouldn't slide it without one

I’ve heard the LSD is a game changer for these cars, definitely on the to-do list!
