I need to see this. I discovered another neat little car that rose to the top of my list as my next option. The M240i. It also has the B58. So my next choices are a Supra, M240i, or M4. I am leaning towards the M240i because of the price, B58, and extra space. I will contact Darwinpro to see if their F22/M2 spoiler wing fits on the M240i. It is the best wing on the market for the 2 series BMW cars, and I rarely see it on any cars in pictures. This is what I am thinking about as my next car. I have researched the F82 M4 and A90 Supra. Now I have discovered this neat little M240i car with the x-Drive option. I think my next car in the future will be a 2017-2020 M240i because of the price, AWD x-Drive option, it has the B58 engine, and it has the extra car space I like. I don't like the appearance of the next generation of 2 series cars. I saw one last weekend at Best Buy. 2017-2020 are the years I will choose. I have a stock 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8 right now. The car is already becoming rare.

I’ve personally seen friends buy other BMWs that aren’t as reliable as the b58 (high mileage n55 100k plus) and after all the necessary maintenance was done the cars have run strong ever since. As for the b58 ive also had friends buy examples that already had a big turbo installed and they are just now reaching over 100k without any major issues. We can’t… most people in America are up to their necks in debt. It’s supper common for Americans to own cars they can’t afford and take half of their salaries. @ROVA00 8 місяців тому

@@Jacob-xd3ko no way man! A car that’s over half my salary would not be a responsible expense. Could I pay for it? Yes… but what about saving and investing?
I guess it depends on your priorities and how you define “affording”. If I can pay my bills, have money to invest for retirement (at least 30%), a years worth of emergency savings, and still have money for taking my wife out to eat every once in a while, and can still pay for the car an insurance, then I can afford it.
If having the car means I can’t save/invest much for retirement and have to sacrifice going on a yearly trip or the occasional steak, or I am stressed about a house or cat repair, then I can’t afford it.
Maybe if I was 22 years old and making $100k I would feel more comfortable spending all my disposable income on a car, but at 35, retirement seems a lot closer.
In my opinion only the wealthy can truly afford a sports car like this brand new. Americans have simply normalized spending a large portion of their income into a car.
