Of course that would be Allegiant asking for takeoff clearance from the gate. The realism in this is fantastic!
In that case, they should have an option to return to airport because of fist fighting passengers.
But IRL the audio is never that clear.
@@2oqp577 ATC audio has improved a lot in the last few decades. You'd especially hear a facility controller in the same facility crystal clear unless there was something really wrong with your radios.
The only difficulty I've had with comms RL is with FSS and ATIS frequencies from many miles away.
@@aviation_nut Well, I just listen to CVR on different YT channels and it's not clear. Notice also how we never hear double transmission artefact in the sim, while it happens all the time IRL.
@@2oqp577 The recordings you see on those channels are coming from volunteer radios on the ground miles away from the facility. From there you'll definitely hear interference and static. This doesn't reflect what your experience would be in an aircraft in the air or right at the facility.
You may notice a lot of times there's a disclaimer that the recording doesn't have certain voices or they're quite inaudible. This is for that reason. Otherwise if you can't understand the intense static or distortion on those videos what would make you think the ATC or other pilots magically can?
VATSIM should implement something like this into areas where no live controllers are

AI doesn't really understand how procedures controllers use work yet. It could work for clearance / delivery but is too unreliable for other positions yet.

they should make you call it irl and not let you use the program until you do, and if you call the number 3 times, they make you pay a $5 fee 🤣

Looks absolutely fantastic! Would love region-specific AI voices as well, but even in its current form, it’s miles better than anything else on the market at the moment - kudos to you folks! Great marketing as well 😂🤞

Yeah take my money. I have tried Pilot2atc and it kept not understanding me. This has serious possibilities. I just can't do VATSIM because they aren't there at all times and in all locations.

Nice. If possible, you should add some noise to the AI voices. That would add a lot to the immersion.
Looks good! A few mistakes:
London Control does not say Radar Contact.
There is no Heathrow departure, you are handed off to the appropriate London control sector.
Yeah for some reason everyone in msfs seems to follow Americans phraseology.
Also curious does it do flight numbers or only registrations?

When I was a Simmer I couldn’t wait to fly real planes and talk to ATC. Now that I fly real planes I can’t stand talking to ATC.
Please also support VFR, Unicom, Multicom, and basically airports in Charlie, Delta as well, with their altered contact routines
Thank you for working on this. A much neglected aspect of the sim by MS/Asobo. This has the potential to be as big of a game changer as FS2024 if it works as well as I hope it does. For me, it would increase the realism if there were lots of different voices in the correct accents, and if there was more noise/static on some of them or if they are EQ'd to sound more tinny like someone's actually speaking into a headset. The current voices in the trailer seem too clean and clear, and a bit robotic.

Incredible, looking forward to more information. I hope that the sound is closer to what we hear in airphones, with interference effects... it would be quite a differentiator. I didn't see the presentation at FSExpo, maybe they talked about it. Because it has voice recognition, I am pleased to be able to better train the comparisons and contacts with Centers and Towers. Very excited!

Finally! Someone did something interesting. My god I need this badly.
The million dollar question is how to you file the flight plans. I much prefer to do with through ATC after I program the flight computer. But I assume you are going to have to load it into the program in some way outside the sim.

@@ImpendingJokerx-plane has much better flight mechanics and physics, the only thing MSFS has it beat on is graphics. But to me, x-plane feels more like a simulation of flying while MSFS feels more arcadey

@@bradydechant8281msfs is not even remotely arcadey. You can argue physics all you want, but while there's nothing wrong with Xplanes blade element theory, msfs realtime CFD is far more impressive. All it needs is a more customizable flight model and more calculations, which if you watched fsexpo, will know that they've fixed and overhauled physics for 2024.
At the worst, MSFS is like 10% less realistic than Xplane

It does sound better but its still choppy. You still know you are talking to a computer. With all the technology that we have today with AI and machine learning its amazing we dont have a seamless text to speech that actually sounds like a person speaking naturally. I look forward to BeyondATC and hope it continues to improve.
I hope you support X-Plane 12. It will be interesting to see how this all comes together from a product and pricing perspective. FAA and ICAO accuracy will be key. I got my PPL last year and could not have done it without Pilotedge. For people who want to fly outside the Pilotedge west coast and have ATC or cannot afford the monthly fee, this could be an interesting alternative.
Why would they want to support XP12 that doesn't have but maybe 10% of the install base that MSFS has? XP12 is already old news.

The AI needs to learn Just like IBM Watson is a question-answering computer system capable of answering questions!! long way off in being 100% realistic.

Things like "Good morning to you as well" could be shortened to "Call sign", good morning! And then instructions. Keeps it much more short precise and more realistic.
But in the real world, especially in quiet airspace, its absolutely not always short and sweet. People even ask how each other are doing where I fly

OK. I am interested. One question. When ATC tells me "expect vectors to ILS" will I actually get vectors unlike the default MSFS ATC which just ignores you from this point on. And was that pilot deviation at the end for real? That was so damned funny.
It was a bit over the top to be honest. I think it was just to demonstrate things.
After seeing what AI can do with dialogue in video games recently (Skyrim can now have NPC's respond to whatever dialogue the player types and in their own voices), I have no doubt that we are on the brink of seeing a completely revolutionized AI ATC system for flight simulators!

Look promising. Big issue with P2A has been it's total failure to see many of the smaller airports and helipads or new start additions. Will this have that capability? I remember that runway app that would add new airport scenery in the sim (from 3rd party apps) into its database.
Will the UI be useable when in a VR headset? Voice activation/recognition would be great for increasing immersion, but I'd still probably want to cheat on the readback of long taxi route clearances. :)

Other than more modern sounding voices, how does this differ from Pilot2ATC I am currently using? This is a legit question, not trying to be a pest. If it is better, I will switch on day one, but if it is primarily the same, I'll keep what I have. Thanks.

Lol. It still sounds robotic but i guess technology is not there yet. But the fact that this ATC sounds way better than MSFS’ as far as being given instructions, I would definitely consider purchasing it for that reason alone. ❤
