@@dashiellgillingham4579 it wasn't about speed it's more like control and aim. The wolf probably was faster. But it didn't have the swiftness and control of the bird. The werewolf couldn't just stop a slash at the middle of it so it just had to accept it and slash himself. A good comparison is a housefly. A normal average fly. One would think they're fast. Nah... Not at all a human is more than twice as fast they're at most around as fast as walking speed. Yet we struggle so much killing them with sheer brute force even if we're fast. We have to wait for them to stand down and then go for a really fast hit just to attempt to get them. Also heavy armor doesn't reduce nearly as much mobility as one would think. Thinks like swimming are achievable if you're good at swimming and strong enought. It also allows for fast movements. There's even videos of parkour in full metal armor around. Though the added weight would make you receive things like falls much harder and it jumping around would tire you faster. Also the metal would make you overheat especially in hot climates and freeze fast on cold ones. Light armor by the other way wouldn't have nearly as many problems and things like thick leather or fur are better at taking things like big brute force attacks from things like hammers or maces than metal armors (assuming they aren't wearing some lighter armor behind it which is actually a thing) .

Ever since I first read about them, I've had a fascination with Weresharks. Perhaps the reason the one Wereshark M'aiq knew was afraid of water was because they don't transform at night, like the others, but after coming into contact with a body of water.
If you're familiar with comic books, John Constantine pulled this exact thing and basically became free from all of the demons he sold his soul to, because none of them could risk a war with the others.

You ever see that old ABC miniseries based on Peter Benchley's "White Shark"? I imagine a wereshark would look something like the monster from that. That gives me an idea for a Pirate Lord build that uses the Scarlet and Wereshark mods: A former low-ranking member of a pirate crew from Stros M'Kai, upon contracting the wereshark strain of lycanthropy he turned it to his advantage and quickly took over, becoming one of the most notorious pirate captains on the western coast. He is ultimately driven to the northern coast by rising tensions in Hammerfell. His ship and crew are claimed by the Sea of Ghosts, leaving him to start from scratch.
@Plague Rebirth actually if you side with Sinding during the quest, Ill Met By Moonlight, it gives you 1 additional transformation, as far as I last checked in oldrim. I dont see why it would be changed either. EDIT: and going back to the oldrim thing, if you arent a werewolf, it will still provide the 1 additional transformation
It would be very cool to see some new/remade werecreatures in TES VI. Imagine you are swimming off towards a small distant island in order to explore a sunken ship right off of it when suddenly a wereshark comes bursting out of the water to ambush you.
Weresharks are somewhat plausible within Maormer society. Each of the provinces have their own "native strains" that match the culture and/or environment; so it's possible the Maormer have their own native strain.
This will be handy for my crossover fanfic (Skyrim and Inuyasha). Let's say my fanfic's Dragonborn is a fifteen year old Altmer who wishes to master the Restoration school of magic, despite having only enough knowledge to heal most common abrasions. The kicker, she doesn't know much about illnesses, especially conditions like lycanthropy and vampirism, either. Yeah, I am going the "naive and childish Dragonborn" route. She gets scratched by a werewolf and doesn't know it.
9:15 pretty good orc wereboar build idea there. Of course you would need the mod growl and werebeast for player character for that one. I named my orc wereboar the iron boar
I like to think that some player races have a higher chance of catching certain strains of Lycanthropy, basically depending on your race you would be 50% more susceptible to certain strains. Werewolves are just the standard and most common of the strains so every race can catch it. Werebear - Nord Werelion - Khajiit Wereshark - Redguard Wereboar - Orc Werevulture - Wood Elf Werecrocodile - Argonian Werebat - Dark Elf Wereeagle - High Elf Imperial and Breton don't have a special Lycanthropy strain.
To ur question of which I’d hope to be, I’d hope to take the form of the wolf as it embodies my actual personality remarkably well: loyalty, cunning, honor etc
I wish Skyrim did more with being a werewolf. in daggerfall you got boosts in your human form as well as your beast form but had some disadvantages, similar to the vampire in Skyrim, unless if you had the ring of hircine.
I have always imagined weresharks as a Garchomp from Pokemon lol IDK why but I like it. Also I'd 100% be the standard werewolf and I'd embrace it. The Hunting Grounds of Hircine is my version of bliss and Sovengarde
I remember when I first ever played Skyrim for the first time I knew nothing about the game and then I found out you could become a werewolf and I was so amazed by thinking about the fact you could literally find a way to become a werewolf in this game
My pet theory about the Tsaesci is that they were a race of men who in order to survive in Akavir (which sounds way more wild and dangerous than Tamriel), took becoming weresnakes as a way to survive and thrive there
Werewolf for sure. No cure but I'd want the perks of choosing where I go in the afterlife, such as in one of the theories as to where the Dragonborn's soul goes. Maybe even walk to the different realms as I please.
The Were-beasts are like titans from aot they are fast strong and no one knows who the werewolf is until u transform out of it they all have special abilities and u can do one transformation after the other if u have the ring its fun to save then turn on the rumbling aot ost on go in the middle of a town transform and fkin wreck havoc upon everything then when ur done load the last save
I want to see a character who's so ballsy, that he intentionally goes to the Hunting Grounds just so he can take on all comers. Just like the biggest middle finger to Hircine by not running, not chasing, just being like "Here I am, come get me if you dare!"
The werebeast that I want to be and embrace is the Were-Todd. My attacks will cause humans to get stuck in the T-pose. My howls will the night with dread as I howl 'It's just works'.

@@keeganduffy7938 I'm gonna try that then!
@Plague Rebirth That sucks, kind of stupid design flaw if you ask me
@@gerbenvanegmond4007 why would a ring give you lycanthropy
@Plague Rebirth actually if you side with Sinding during the quest, Ill Met By Moonlight, it gives you 1 additional transformation, as far as I last checked in oldrim. I dont see why it would be changed either.
EDIT: and going back to the oldrim thing, if you arent a werewolf, it will still provide the 1 additional transformation
It would be very cool to see some new/remade werecreatures in TES VI. Imagine you are swimming off towards a small distant island in order to explore a sunken ship right off of it when suddenly a wereshark comes bursting out of the water to ambush you.
A Weresuccessfulperson!
Once every month, I get my life on track!
Or a Wereskeleton.
3 videos in two days! Top notch effort Fudgemuppet.
Thank you for this wonderful guide
I love werebears, and the fact that the solsteim dlc didn't let you turn into one pissed me off.
Been waiting for this for so long and was not disappointed great vid
Weresharks are somewhat plausible within Maormer society. Each of the provinces have their own "native strains" that match the culture and/or environment; so it's possible the Maormer have their own native strain.
"I'm telling you I heard it. Howling..
Those werewolf tales are True!"
You didn’t mention “Noxiphilic Sanguivoria” the Hybrid disease of both Molag Bal and Hircine’s curses.
Its not a hybrid disease.. Hircines involvement was only a theory.
Werebear - Nord
Werelion - Khajiit
Wereshark - Redguard
Wereboar - Orc
Werevulture - Wood Elf
Werecrocodile - Argonian
Werebat - Dark Elf
Wereeagle - High Elf
Imperial and Breton don't have a special Lycanthropy strain.
Wereshark that's terrified of the water. Damn, that's got to be a special kind of hell
Werelion and I would embrace Hircine immediately
Wouldn't a weretiger be cooler
@@iamthestorkthatisapproachi9056 There's no weretigers btw I would be werewolf or werebear maype
I want to be a werewolf, and Embrace hircine's curse
Wait, the Street Sharks not fearsome? I beg your pardon.
TJ Supertramp
Keep begging!
To ur question of which I’d hope to be, I’d hope to take the form of the wolf as it embodies my actual personality remarkably well: loyalty, cunning, honor etc
Then along comes dovahkin. The ultimate were-dragon-cat-vampire creature.
I wish Skyrim did more with being a werewolf. in daggerfall you got boosts in your human form as well as your beast form but had some disadvantages, similar to the vampire in Skyrim, unless if you had the ring of hircine.
Can you do complete guide to vampires next?
I have always imagined weresharks as a Garchomp from Pokemon lol IDK why but I like it. Also I'd 100% be the standard werewolf and I'd embrace it. The Hunting Grounds of Hircine is my version of bliss and Sovengarde
A werehuman scares me most of all
The most hated is the Were-rolf stone fist.it turns you into a beast that attacks dark elves
I've been waiting for a upload since 1:34 am keep in mind I live in the state of Texas.
I remember when I first ever played Skyrim for the first time I knew nothing about the game and then I found out you could become a werewolf and I was so amazed by thinking about the fact you could literally find a way to become a werewolf in this game
My friends often say I remind them of a mongoose... so is there a were-mongoose in TES?
Werecroc for me. Armored hide, crushing jaws, powerful tail. Too freakn cool.
My Character: Greets a guardsmen with a smile...
Guardsmen: I find your wolfish grin... unsettling.
I’ve heard stories of a terrifying creature of the far north of the continent. The Were-Horker!
Which would I choose? Werebear.
I love honey. My belly is big.
Picnic baskets are great!
And I don't like forest fires.
My pet theory about the Tsaesci is that they were a race of men who in order to survive in Akavir (which sounds way more wild and dangerous than Tamriel), took becoming weresnakes as a way to survive and thrive there
I mean fair enough but your logic doesn't stand up if the tsaesci (often just called the akaviri)are humans
May Stendarr have mercy on your souls.
For we of the vigilant has none to spare.
Also a mage in the mage guild hall in Riften can cure your lycanthropy (or vampirism) for the modest sum of about 700 gold
Are you sure?
Cool shots during the mid action, usually I don’t get to see them in detail up close.
please do another werebeast build video one that focuses on the beast form
0:52 Dude, don't mess with rokea.
Also, funny how this came out the same day I had a werewolf dream.
If Hircine blesses me, I wish to be a werevulture or werebat and dive into the skies of Nirn.
WereBoar for me personally.
So fascinating to learn about all this. Wonderful video as always
Werecreatures what makes elder scrolls games so much fun wel at least to me
Werewolf for sure.
Nobody:

The video I’ve all been waiting for!
The werebeast that I want to be and embrace is the Were-Todd. My attacks will cause humans to get stuck in the T-pose. My howls will the night with dread as I howl 'It's just works'.
Using Secunda as the background music, being the name of one of the moons, clever lol.
Strength, agility, smell, night sight, the taste of fresh meat.
I can hunt better than any man or mer. This is no curse, it is a gift.
Each kill for the glory of lord Hircine!
