I recall waiting outside of GameStop late on 11/10/2011 to be among the first to play Skyrim. I am playing Skyrim Special Edition this very moment as I listen to Fudgemuppet. This game is a bridge from the games like Oblivion to the games that would come later, Witcher 3. Skyrim and its various iterations have truly surpassed the critics and their yearning to return to all things Morrowind. Done so through the various mods that are still revitalizing Skyrim, Skyrim Special Edition and Skyrim VR. These channels and modding communities have strengthened and contributed to the longevity of Skyrim beyond anyone's expectations. Hope we will have Elder Scrolls VI sooner than we are expecting. Been a very long break compared to the release dates of Arena, Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard Adventures, Morrowind, Oblivion to Skyrim.

In the brotherhood when you have to pass as a secret famous cook if you are a bosmer the imperial chef agrees a bosmer makes sense because they know all types of herbs and plants. Meaning they eat plants.

I’ve tried to do the role playing aspect of the build, but I can’t get the aesthetic and the back story just right. That’s why I’m asking the masters. The build i have in mind is an argonian liberator. I know y’all have a slave build but I think a liberator is way cooler. Maybe a member of the an xileel(I think that’s right) modded or not I would love to see y’all cover this.
I've been playing with hunterborn and other mods in order to play a bosmer correctly. It's been fun trying to adhere to the green pact and only use animal parts to craft weapons, armor, and potions. Totally different feel from all my other playthroughs so far.
I've only started playing Skyrim recently and chose to play a wood elf. I'm just now finding out I was supposed to eat all those wolves, bears, trolls, bandits and spiders I killed. It's lucky I absorb the dragons I kill. I don't think I could eat a whole one
Skyrim never gave us any Bosmer armor or weapons . Even though the Dwarves are long gone we got Dwarven armor and weapons . We got Dunmer armor and weapons with the Dragon born DLC . But they got lazy and decided to leave the Bosmer half finished .
Dwemer armor was made to last and their strongholds are everywhere. Morrowind is right next door and currently occupies Solstheim. It makes sense to have those armors and weapons. We are very far from Valenwood and their armor would mostly be made from leather anyway which we get plenty of variations of that as it is between forsworn, various fur armors, and the different scaled armors. Bosmer armor would be an unnecessary addition. Khajiit armor would be interesting, since we got Khajiit caravans that supposedly came from Elsewer. However I don’t think they’re known for their armor so they wouldn’t see it as worth as a trade commodity.
So, I've devised the ultimate unarmed fighter build (w/ mods). The needed mods are: Moonlight Tales Amazing Race Tweaks: Khajiit and Treebalance Compilation. Unlike Imperious Races of Skyrim, the racial abilities from ART are designed to be more immersive into what canon lore says each race is supposed to be like. ART: Khajiit changes many things, but key here is that their unarmed damage is linked to their one-handed weapons skill level and perks that are not weapon type-specific, additionally fighting unarmed raises one-handed weapons skill. Khajiit claw damage is adjusted depending on the armor you wear, heavy armor negating it entirely. Take heart, you also get a natural armor bonus in your Active Effects, not much of one, but it's not like you're going to be standing still or moving slow. Additionally, ART: Khajiit gives you access to using the Whispering Fang styles. Wait... don't go yet, I'm not done. Treebalance includes some sweet changes to the one-handed weapons skill-tree, including a change to Paralyzing Strike, that instead of doing a certain kind of power attack, all power attacks have a chance to paralyze. Last but not least, Moonlight Tales. The quintessential overhaul for playing a Werewolf that the Dawnguard DLC fell miserably short on. There's a lot of features I'm not going to cover in this, but I will cover in some of the higher level werewolf perks, there's one you can get a substantial bonus to your werewolf claw damage, and your base form's unarmed damage. Finally don't forget our favorite enchantment to place on gloves and rings, Fortify Unarmed. Get all of this and you'll be hitting like you've got a Dragonbone sword instead of cat claws.
Well if you make roads out of salt bricks it would kill the local plants without you directly killing them. Over time you could replace it with stones from rivers and make roads like that.
Altherius the Altmer says: its moronic imperials not knowing werefolk and spriggans let us not forget how quickly they confuse a storm atronach for a storm "demon" and then start sacrificing their young.
My character "Ko"the wood elf started as a bard built his muscles climbing cliff faces and he read many books and with his knowledge and strength he set out to become one with the beasts of the forests gaining the ability to become a werewolf
Batshit insane. None outside Valenwood seem to do this tho. I mean, Faendal has garlic and herbs in his house which I assume he eats, wears textile clothing, works at a saw mill, and knocks back an ale in the evening. Because of that, neither do mine follow these rules when I roll one (which I do occasionally because of how flippin cute they can be ♥ ) Antlers would be ...omfg... carnivorous deerbois!
... Better hope you're not a legendary warrior on a battlefield racking up kill after kill... That's one hell of a dinner you've got to choke down later.
If there was an in-game Bosmer priest, he'd take a look at us Bosmer players, register our alchemy skill and immediately go "🤨 soo not violating the green pact I assume?"

I hope that in the next Elder Scrolls game (not the online version) we get the chance to actually go to their towns and to be able to become friends with them. Cause if I was in there (my Redgraud) would be Cool with them and I would ask them to make me better at Archery.
That's what I'm doing with my Bosmer character. Stealth archer (because that's never been done before), alchemist, green pact. NO PLANTS. Also means I must go get Namira's ring before she (my character) kills anyone, so she can eat them.
...
Yeah, she will be a bit of a pacifist.
Also I know it's just about Valenwood, but I think it would make for a fun challenge, to have a really diehard green pact-Bosmer who refuses to use plants, anywhere.
The bosmer culture is hands down the one I find most interesting
Your lore videos are so relaxing. I don’t know what it is about it, but I have actually put on your videos to help me sleep because I have trouble getting to sleep. They helped tremendously lol.
Anyone notice this guy says every line with the same exact inflection?
Google: "Did you mean inflection?"
Most Europeans read/speak like that my dude.
@@TeeteringTod European!? Dude is upside down, boy you turn me, antipodean, crack another tinny, Kylie, prawns on the bbq, tie his kangaroo down sport, yep, he's from Lyg. Don't go, everything wants to kill you. And that's just his garden.
SeiichirouUta i kinda agree with you. i wish he put a little bit more energy into his voice. i love the content, but i just want some more excitement, especially when the videos are so full of good information.
It makes it difficult for me to focus on what Drew is saying from the style he talks. It sounds like he’s reading a story. I love the content of FudgeMuppet but the way they speak makes my brain have to really concentrate when listening, which is exhausting.
Compare his speaking to Zaric Zhakaron’s speaking style. He’s another lorebeard.
The voice makes everything more epic
I have actually ever only played Bosmeri characters in all of my 3746h of playtime
Wow why am i still awake, may be 4:31 am in the morning but i have a couple more minutes
That the most relatable thing I’ve ever heard. Also ‘4:31 am in the morning’?
Ryan herbert well now its 5:44 am where i live
Same. 6:40am
@@curlycurl2451 Its still 9:20 pm where i live so i'm good 😎
Panji Wiratama its 7:26 am now, i havent slept
what an opening
your words gave me chills fudge, that rarely happens
Excellent job as always! Please do one on Aetherius!!! Its a rarely touched subject
I find it kind of hilarious how both Mankar Cameron's parents are Bosmer, so he should be too, but in Oblivion they made him an Altmer because the wood elves in Oblivion are probably the least intimidating characters in any game ever made.
It’s amazing how even after 8 years of release, this game is still getting attention. Truly beautiful :’)
Hey FudgeMuppet, we appreciate the Skyrim content as always, but hoping you guys are ok with everything that's happening in Australia right now.
root9065 With all due respect, and as a fellow Australian, videogames are an outlet to escape from reality. Let us enjoy the fiction, a better world. It’s nice to have right now.
@@anfie2495 agreed mate, the blessings are kind but reminder hurts
it’s sad that the media (in the us at least) is hardly covering it.
Thank you. We are personally unharmed (aside from all the smoke everyone has to breathe in), so we consider ourselves among the lucky ones. It's all pretty intense here at the moment.
wait I'm lost, what happened in Australia?!
Yeah boi!!! this is one of the videos ive been waiting for, love you guys and your hard work. Keep it up FudgeMuppet you guys ROCK!!!
Awesome you guys did a video on the best race in the series 😁👍🏼
Can we get a Breton guide? Honestly I feel like the Breton is the most underrated race in the Tamriel
Underratted my ass
Breton: *literally the meta race in Skyrim, the likely race of Tiber Septim, and a huge focus of the community*
People: "uNdeRrAteD
I want subraces in ES:VI.
@@Mare_Man that would be the single best new thing they could add
@@euanwalters5030 im just mad that the bretons dont have magic flowing tattoos in the games. It would make em feel like what they are
The only channel I love listening about builds and lore ❤
Drew my man.. Superb video as always mate ⭐.. Luvin these fresh non-skyrim/oblivion clips you've been using 👍.
But I've got a very important question mate. WHAT IS UP WITH THE 36 LESSONS OF VIVEC??? if memory serves me right, it was you or Scott who promised that video long long long ago. Plz, would REALLY luv to see that video
Drew is the BEST narrator ever.
I thought the thumbnail said "Complete Boomer"
In other words don't mess with the Bosmer. They will wreck you.
Hey drew when u get ur next valenwood forage please use more malabal tor. It’s rainy days have the best ambiance in eso
Video Content Idea: Hrormir's Ice Staff from oblivion I don't remember a true introduction to the character just the item a little more info would be awesome! LOVE YOU FUDGE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!
Bosmer, my favorite and vest Elven Race. Though still find it weird that there is a degree of dislike of Hircine according to the Greenpact and traditional rules of them. Yet logically you would think they would like and approve of Hircine. After all he is a forest/huntsman type.
So...are there not gonna be anymore builds? If not it's ok, it's just I liked waking up every Friday/Saturday morning with a new skyrim build. Either way, love y'all and love what you do.
Just imagine the adoring fan from oblivion and you tell him to shove off and he goes and performs the wild hunt.
i hate that fudge muppet is getting so little views because he's content is so good
I'm roleplaying a bosmer for the very first time, nice to learn about them!
Happy New Year, FudgeMuppet! 🎊🎊
Looking forward to your content this year!
Wood elves in every other universe: herbivorous nature loving tree hippies
Wood elves in the Elder Scrolls universe: cannibalistic eldritch nature loving tree zealots
I played a wood elf on my first playthrough on morrowind (first one i played). Id love to see how a major ES will incorporate moving trees/citites.
Also did you not say wood elves use torch bugs and not fire, yet ESO has torches in valenwood. Hmmm...
Bosmer are my favourite elven race dunmer are my second favourite
7:55 So the companions forces you to break the Green Pact if you are playing a Bosmer.
In the brotherhood when you have to pass as a secret famous cook if you are a bosmer the imperial chef agrees a bosmer makes sense because they know all types of herbs and plants. Meaning they eat plants.
LOVE YOU GUYS! GREAT VIDEO
Bruh you really gonna comment on a 30 minute video "GREAT VIDEO" when it's currently 1 minute old at the time of commenting lmao
The Bosmer are also the most sexually active race, which made them the most widespread race in Tamriel.
First off my thoughts and prayers goes out to you and your countrymen and women during this time of fire and hell for people and wildlife. Please stay safe. You have a very soothing voice that fits right in with my morning coffee, going on years now.
Pop Tarts + Elder Scrolls Lore = The perfect morning!~
I... I just started a new wood elf character. This is a little scary (Fine, fine... just a coincidence, but I got a giggle). Favorite race in ant game worth playing.
I know I’m a little late to the video, but I have a build that I would love to see y’all feature on the channel.
Would love to see a build guide for the bosmer archer in this video
after of one year of not playing you made me install eso again to play on my 400 hours bosmer
I SPOKE FUDGEMUPPET USING ESO FOOTAGE INTO EXISTENCE I KNOW YOU NOTICED ME 😤😤😤😤😤😤
I've been playing with hunterborn and other mods in order to play a bosmer correctly.
😂 I got into Skyrim during the pandemic. I usually play wood elf or Khajit.
Yes 😢
@@Aquafrostsheke we have only the Glass Bow of the Stag Prince 😄
I wonder how the Bosmer of Valenwood feel about necromancy. It's using a dead body, after all.
I love the wood elves, they're my favourite race
Amazing video! Please do one for the Redguards, they are great!
I am curious how a green pact bosmer would do the quest to rstore the tree. You are restoring one but causing hatm to other briefky. Good video
This is... more interesting that I was anticipating
I can finally tell the differences between their voices.
Are you going to do complete guides to non-playable races like dremora and dwemer?
Oh man!!! That was a great video guys! Only thing that did suck about it was havin ta press pause to do my job lol
Bosmer are like 99% of my playthroughs. Favorite ES race by far
So, I've devised the ultimate unarmed fighter build (w/ mods).
The needed mods are:
Moonlight Tales
Amazing Race Tweaks: Khajiit
and Treebalance Compilation.
5:25
Well thats one way to solve the arrow paradox
Please do one for the Altmer🧝♀️🧝♂️
Man i love the mer races, dunmer next pls 😍, i love your channel btw 😍🖒
Well if you make roads out of salt bricks it would kill the local plants without you directly killing them. Over time you could replace it with stones from rivers and make roads like that.
love these videos! it would be cool to have some analysis of some lore like the last year of the first era 2920.
Awesome video😁
perfectly perfect
Fudgemuppet you should make a corrupt king build with the become high king of Skyrim mod and yes I know you have a king/emperor build already
Get yourself a Bosmer wife and hope she goes wild on top, am I right? Haha
They do excel at shaping the wood.
Up until she starts chewing
so really strong and deadly hunters..conquered like crazy. sounds right.
Altherius the Altmer says: its moronic imperials not knowing werefolk and spriggans let us not forget how quickly they confuse a storm atronach for a storm "demon" and then start sacrificing their young.
I love begin a Breton in my characters,
but I also the wood elves and altmer races too :)
My character "Ko"the wood elf started as a bard built his muscles climbing cliff faces and he read many books and with his knowledge and strength he set out to become one with the beasts of the forests gaining the ability to become a werewolf
Bosmer are a cool race except for the cannibalism part of the meat mandate.
That's exactly the part I love. *blasts cannibal corpse*
I would love an elder scrolls game in valine wood. Wood elves fighting off the empire & east trading co trying to harvest the forest
will you be making more fallout 4 builds , if so can you make one for Nora - the lawyer & a Nate build - the lone wanderer please .
bosmer in valenwood be like: ,, good trading relations with the wood orcs we have" 🤪
I'm just watching through these "The COMPLETE Guide to" videos again, since it's been a while, and I just now noticed. Where is the Imperials?
Such a good video more like this 😃
Batshit insane. None outside Valenwood seem to do this tho. I mean, Faendal has garlic and herbs in his house which I assume he eats, wears textile clothing, works at a saw mill, and knocks back an ale in the evening. Because of that, neither do mine follow these rules when I roll one (which I do occasionally because of how flippin cute they can be ♥ )
Antlers would be ...omfg... carnivorous deerbois!
Mustn't change form, but filing teeth into points is perfectly fine. Oh those fickle false gods
15:20 are there any bosmer in-game with brown or green skin?
I just realized we're lucky bosmer aren't a war-based people. They're literally stealth archers.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
