yes it does, i caught 13 or so bluegill today on my new budget sienna 1000 reel...nothing much but this channel has got me intrigued in fishing in a whole deeper and more enjoyable way and i'm a new angler also so it's just amazing!
Got my mule stuff for my birthday and caught the biggest crappie I've ever seen (yt or otherwise), another crappie, a few dink bass, and a dozen bluegill. Holy crap they just slay
Been fishing your mule jigs in the little gunpowder falls in MD with my kids. Theyve been fishing og rapala minnows up until today and outfishing me up until i added some mule plastics and jigs to my box. Been nailing the smallmouth and sunfish with the burro bug and donkey tail. Today my little girl nailed a 9" fallfish on a mule minnow 2.2 with a 1/32oz mule jig. Really looking forward to hitting up the big gunpowder later this falls.
Yeah buddy, rockos are fun. It makes it worth it for you, me and about anybody trying not to take themselves too seriously. Gotta enjoy the drift my friend. I'm waiting to do the maiden voyage trip with the UL drop shot. Blessings Ethan
I have never caught a rock bass. Definitely looks like some fun. What size hook and weight do you recommend for ultra light drop shot. Love your content and products as always God bless and tight lines
When you fish shallow do you have any way to rig weedless ? I am here in Florida tons of bites but as soon as I get some weeds on it they aren't interested. Usually everything in the places I fish has to be weedless and I just got a few ultralight set ups caught a few bass and a warmouth so far.
You can technically run it with a texas rig hook, but to be honest, I would not recommend the drop shot for shallow weedy areas because there are other rigs which are probably more effective.
@@FishAnything I ended up getting Texas rig hooks size 8 and size 10 both work well caught tons of bluegill and shellcracker Texas rigging trout slayer 1 inch crayfish. One thing is the hooks I got are very cheap and break when a bass hits it I still have the ring of the hook but nothing else after. Struggling to find quality ewg size 6 8 or 10
I've never seen waters with such a dense rock bass. They're my favorite, if only because anytime I get skunked fishing for game fish, those crazy fuckers will at least give me a little action.
Wouldn’t fishing a double jig serve the same purpose of a drop shot with double the chance of catching a fish? Of course the heavier jig on the bottom.
I have a rig setup which is basically a weedless ned acting as a weight and bottom bouncer and a drop shot 8 inches above or so. For rivers especially.
Yeah I could absolutely do that. I honestly just like to keep things natural and focus on one bait, but I may have to do this in a future video. Thanks man.
Honestly, this channel makes you want to go out and fish. Thanks for being my fix bud!
I love to hear that! Thank you 🤠👊🏽

Beautiful sunsets and fish on every cast is pretty much the dream!
It is awfully hard to beat!
i use inline circle hooks with a split shot for drop shotting . i find i get snagged less with it along with gut hooking fish less .
Might have to try that!
Dude that NASCI Sierra combo is my favorite setup. It's also soooo balanced.
It is a dandy!
love this channel so much! been watching since less than 4k subs. so happy to see its at almost 10 times that🎉
Thanks so much for the support!
@@FishAnything of course! love what you do man
How does that rod holder attach to the paddle board? Can it be used on any paddle board or just the one you have?
It is a custom holder - I think there may be other adapters which you could fit it on but this is the standard holder which comes with the board.

The ultralight drop shot will clean house for you! Go get them, Brian :)

Thanks Caleb! Depends on the fish in your area and what plastic you’re using, but I typically use a size 8 hook with a 1/8oz weight.

I would be fishing every single docks, well as long as they're not private property I would. Near or underneath those docks holds some big fish.
The fish didn't seem to be on the shallow rocks. I tried! Ah well, I found plenty of bites deep.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I like catching Rock Bass
Nothing wrong with them!
Nice video! I have yet to try the micro drop shot, but holy cow the donkey tail jr has been killing it for me recently
Love to hear this!!! Thanks so much
Nice video.
Thank you!
1:14 hold up, you are talking about my kinda lady Ethan!!!
Fan and short????😂
Sheesh!!! :)
Talking about a great body of water
It was good to me :)

Haha that is a great way of looking at them!
I don’t have rock bass here, closest would be warmouth. But am I the only one that thought about rockos modern life?
I love me some warmouth too!
Try the Ryugi Infini Hobbit Offset Wide Gap Worm Hook size 8
I will have to check it out - thank you!
Any blue gill in there
I am sure there are somewhere, but I have never found one believe it or not. Probably need to find an area with a bit more grass.

Yes, and that's a great idea in some cases but depending on what's on the bottom you might not want a hook there for fear of it getting stuck
