That stubby gun looks exactly like the one i have buddy. Without even asking i will say that gun has got to be a Ridge washer brand gun. How do i know ,because i own one exactly like it ,not only that but ridge washer is the only stubby gun that has that slide lock system for the trigger to be held down and reduce hand fatigue. I think that lock is a game changer if you do details and do lots in a day.
Dude this is inspiring. I just started my pressure washing, window cleaning business and I’m going to buy a Tacoma. Was looking for people who run a skid in the taco so this is awesome to see! Can’t wait to see you with an aluminum setup!
I appreciate it! Glad I can help out with your future setup, love my Tacoma and it works perfectly for what I do. You got this and if you have any questions just let me know!
Thanks for posting. Quick question. How do you adjust the psi? 4000 psi is way too strong. I know we're not suppose to adjust via the unloader, so what tips to you recommend for say 2200-2300 psi. Thanks my man
Thanks for the comment! I typically will not touch the unloader since I’ve heard the same thing, but will use my m5 twist to wash homes, that usually gives me a great low psi to not damage anything
Bula (Hello in Fijian) I just discovered your videos best by far compared to what I have seen. How did learn about pressure washing and window cleaning.
Awesome setup, I actually used a couple of your ideas for my setup. How do you get your leads? I've been going out business to business and passing out flyers in neighborhoods. I've quit using Thumbtack and FB, just was getting way too expensive.
I appreciate it! My best way to get leads is by posting on the Nextdoor app and also cold calling companies/door knocking home owners. When I first started I only did door to door and asked each completed house if they could leave me a 5 star google review. Google is going to be your best friend with getting leads. Also try to get in contact with property management companies or home builders as they own thousands of houses that need washing
@@lukeraglin yeah I've been doing that, going out to several HOAs, realtors, and property management companies. Trying not to give up. Just frustrating going on almost a year now.
I got them from this website. Originally ordered on their TikTok page and it came with a 40% off coupon I believe and next day shipping! They’re great quality and a great price. www.milweb1.com
Like to see it… I have an 8gpm set up and I’m trying to figure out how to fit it all in an 8’ bed so I can not tow the whole trailer and save some fuel $…. As you grow don’t buy a skid they are rip and you outgrow them with no flexibility.
Nice I’m looking to upgrade to an 8gpm within the next year. I’ve quickly outgrown my skid with my truck so probably need to get a bigger truck as well
Thank you man! My main source is Google and door to door. I have about 20 5 star reviews on Google and it helps me rank higher. When I’m at a job, I always knock a few doors to let the neighbors know I’m doing pressure washing and window cleaning and I’ll fill up my schedule nicely doing that
Nice setup man. I just put my high pressure hose on a reel and it’s a game changer. I wasn’t clear on the function of the blue hose and filters. What do you use all of that for?
Nice yeah the hose reels are game changers. I didn’t go much in depth with the water fed pole system but the blue hose is for the pure water to go out of for window cleaning. The filters are a carbon filter, deionized filter, and reverse osmosis membrane. They help filter out the sentiments from the city water and create spotless free water. So you can scrub windows and rinse them and they will dry spotless without having to squeegee
@@lukeraglin pretty nice set up for one year. Comes down to utilizing space appropriately to be as comfortable as possible for getting the job done. Everybody’s going to have Info us to what to buy and to buy, etc. etc. and I think something that will enhance your speed using reach it brushes. I own my business for about 40 years now and I’ve gone through many different configurations and types of equipment throughout the decades and when I came across something better, I didn’t mind spending the money for it. If it’s within your means just purchase a beast light brush it’ll make all the difference in the world. The brushes are much more expensive, but they’re definitely worth it. I’ve had several different types of brushes and sold them all. I don’t work for them but their equipment is far better than all the equipment I’ve owned. Also, if you switch up your tube from the 8 mm to a 10 mm you increase your speed as well. You may already know this, but just wanted to share again. Good job on your set up. It’s actually fun modifying building the way you’d like it. Congrats.
@robertlesser6699 hey man I appreciate that! I’ll have to look into those upgrades. Definitely wanting to rock this setup till the end of the year and see where I can upgrade as I go. I’ll have to check out the Reach it brush. It’s rated up to 12 gpm. Tons of people use this gun and have great results. I’ve been using it for almost a year and it’s awesome. I’d definitely get one especially for the price
Yessir that’s how I grew my business starting out and I still do till this day. I love to door knock after a job to create social proof in the neighborhood
@lukeraglin good setup either way. I'm waiting on my last 4 orders to start. My 26 gal tank, another 50 ft of flexzilla, another ball valve and I believe I just need a deep cycle marine battery. That way I can set up my soft wash batch mix setup. Currently staring out my window. My tank and hose should be here in an hour
@lukeraglin will do! I may post some shorts along my journey. Just saw you're from Texas as well! I'm out of San antonio. Currently trying to make my commercial relationships given my job in fire protection. Hoping this takes the full time place and grows
@fsb_-bf3th Yeah I’m in Corpus Christi so not far from you. I go up to the Power Wash store in San Antonio a few times a year and try to watch the spurs up there a couple times as well. Just keep grinding and staying consistent and you’ll get there!
Hey man, just be careful carrying around anything that isn't in UN rated tanks. If any DOT fuckers catch you, you can catch a really fucking hefty fine.
Great start. But your truck bed will be trashed within 3 years. Chlorine is Brutal on my trailer. I’m so glad it’s not in my truck. It’s a learning process. Hope you’re thriving.
