The Killers "Mr. BrightSide" Lineage II

This Video Mod. The assets we had for this mod came from the Cinematics team. The quality of the rendering was not achievable in our short deadline and we had to render everything in Maya Software mode. Some clever compositing and color correction helped to bring the look to unify with the cinematics. Short cuts like displacement maps had to rendered out of Mental Ray and baked into textures for the final output. Just the wall of the castle set took hours per frame to render, so the baked in texture took seconds and didn't look any different from the distance we se it in.
This Mod features game assets from Lineage II and the song "Mr Brightside" from The Killers. Software used was Maya, Fusion, and Final Cut Pro.

They really did something with this short-lived show. With Blender animations everywhere now they were ahead of the curve

Not sure. The audio came directly from MTV as an uncompressed .wav No notes to where or what it was done with.
