Looking at this in 2022, I'm having a really rough few months of nostalgia. I miss these times so much, they will never come back, but I am grateful to have been a part of such a great game. Thanks for everything L2.
Yup. The funny part is the English speaking youtubers don't talk bout this much, but us in Eastern Europe and Latin America were playing this in private servers non stop.

@ZTOID You could donate in official too. Just not from NCSoft. That doesnt mean that you couldn't buy from other players :) ..... it was supposed to be illegal but i guarantee you that many did it. DanielDefo bought his +13 Duals and Dvp also e-bought some items.

Who wrote about skills, guys that’s not about it. Main purpose of that is music, dvp, and old good 2006. Dvp is legend, and he is legend not because of your vision of his skills from 20**. He is legend because he played at early 2004, because high lvl, because he knew how to FRAPS, because he knew how to push buttons, because he listen good music and so on and so forth. He is legend of Teon like all his pvp movies. Let’s not to talk about skills and etc.
That’s just accumulation of things about him, which make him a real legend of L2. ( at least of official TEON)

the first game wherein some server was like +-50players, but I liked to explore shit and lvl up my box characters. Best endgame PvP ever. In order to win a PvP, you had to know other classes skills, cooldowns, animations. There were raids, sieges, Olympiad - you were engaged with a clan to do them to get stat boots if you own the place. The support classes as in leag, yeah they are important but not fun as other. In Lineage 2 they were essential to winning. They are put in a perfect position where it is a must-have role in raid or party. You can't replace it with any damage dealer whether it's a mage or a fighter. The lore are like 10 better what they make nowadays. The only thing that lead this game to its downfall was NCsoft bad business practices.

I think this is a very good video, ofc at start the guy was superbuffed, was really hard he would be killed, but the part about 2:15 is really awesome, his enemies got buff+dances while he has normal buff, and his first enemie (I think a sph) was stronger that him, you can see the great dmg that guy did to him and he ran and rec cp then killed him and all, that was really nice :D

I watched this video in 2006 and now I am watching it again in 2019. Good times! Even the players had an inocense game play atacking a stonger enemy alone one by one almost without buff and not all at same time. L2 today is a joke. It is machanical and the players only walk full of equips all time even in the oficial server. I miss that L2 and that times when i just played since the time i wake till the time i sleep.

Но то что было раньше, никогда не вернуть и ничто не заменит нам эти моменты..остались лишь воспоминая лучшей ММО, но не сейчас...сейчас все мертвое к сожалению и такого больше не будет! никогда.

jesus fucking christ... this bring me so many good memories... i was just a kid and i was playing C4 :D i was SO happy... in the beggin this game was magic, i mean, everything new, so addicted... even when i knew everything about crafting, farming, pvp, etc; i was still so envolved with the game, SO FWKING HAPPY! when i was playing c4, interlude, even HB i was so happy, i was a kid/teeneger... now im a fwking adult, everything turned sh1t, work, pay bills, study... sh1t life...
