- Also known as Himno del 26 de Julio (Anthem of the 26 of July) This was the anthem of the 26th of July movement, which overthrew Batista's government. The song was originally called Himno de la libertad (Hymn of Freedom).

I’m an anti communist but also a anti imperialist and therefore have a great deal of respect for the Cubans who have resisted American/Zionist domination for many decades now.
You cannot be both anti-imperialist and anti-communist. It's like saying you are both anti-capitalist and anti-communist. Which while it can happen it doesn't make a lot of sense.
