- El primero de enero de 1959, el pueblo cubano, encabezado por el Movimiento 26 de Julio, derrocó victoriosamente al opresivo gobierno respaldado por Estados Unidos de Fulgencio Batista. Este movimiento, impulsado por líderes revolucionarios, sobre todo Fidel Castro y Che Guevara, jugó un papel fundamental al proyectar la luz del marxismo-leninismo a través de la antigua colonia española al movilizar a las clases bajas en la resistencia contra el sistema capitalista. El grupo eventualmente evolucionaría hacia el Partido Comunista de Cuba, fundado el 3 de octubre de 1956.
On the first of January, 1959, the Cuban people, headed by the 26th of July Movement, victoriously overthrew the oppressive, American-backed government of Fulgencio Batista. This movement, driven by revolutionary leaders, most notably Fidel Castro and Che Guevara, played a pivotal role in shining the light of Marxism-Leninism across the former Spanish colony by mobilising the lower classes into resistance against the Capitalist system. The group would eventually evolve into the Communist Party of Cuba, founded on the 3rd of October, 1956.

@EmerBlox I'm American and I'm in the communist party lol. Support for socialism has sky rocketed. My party has been had a surge in membership
@@antonimohedanolopez169 like my response to emer: support for socialism has gone way up. There is backlash from the reactionaries but nothing violent yet. My party the communist party and others like the PSL has had surges in membership. Union membership has also gone up,class conciousness is on the rise. The problem is the RELENTLESS and SAVAGE lies and propaganda from the media here in the U.S. The most popular presidential candidate right now (Bernie Sanders) said that it's not fair to say everything about the Cuban revolution was bad and that they made great strides in literacy and health care. Because of merely stating these facts people have been going nuts and saying it's an outrage. My government or rather the capitalists government here in the U.S. IS a terrorist state. I say that without flinching. It is the number one threat to civilization and progress and its us American communists that have to bring it down. Right now they are only fighting us with words but once we begin to threaten their power;they will do whatever means necessary to stop us. Unfortunately a civil war is inevitable. We dont want violence but these colonial capitalists will fire the first shot. It will probably be the most bloddy conflict in history in the heart of empire.

@@BartlomiejDmowski yeah, socialism there was sucky especially in the 80's they never even collectivized agriculture and they were supportive of kruchevite policies. but in a lot of aspects it was still better for people at least economicly speaking overall kinda sucky but i don't blame some people for supporting it considering poland has turned into a NATO puppet-state and is killing migrintes on the border,
