Somebody PLEASE make a good quality HEATER CORE! I would pay a significant premium for one I know I won't have to come back and change again a few years later!
If you flush 100% with distilled water (not hose water, not drinking water, not filtered... distilled only) and then only ever fill with either premix or your favorite concentrate with distilled water... Then change it every 5 years you'll never have to touch another heater core in your life
There is a flow restrictor that is supposed to be in the heater core hose but rots away over time or gets chucked on the first heater hose replacement. It's basically a steel spacer with a hole in it and keeps your heater core from over pressurizing at high rpm. Have em in my fox and both Lincoln's mark VIIs. Original heater cores but my friends with AutoZone heater cores always burst when racing each other and once we put the flow restrictors in they never had another problem.
I ordered some items from mfkustoms, and the foxlox remote... the stuff from mfkustoms just shipped, and the foxlox remote is expected to ship end of March... the foxlox is supposed to be a straight plug n play if you already have power door locks.
I have the MF Kustoms adapter on my 94 GT and I love it, it was as simple as it can get for installing a Holley. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone!
I had a friend that worked at our Ford dealership and he found some Ford heaters cores and sold them to me for 20.00 a piece. Still have a couple of them in the original boxes with Ford parts numbers on rhem
I really wish I had seen the Fathead kit I ordered everything new from Rock auto but the new compressor doesn't come with the AC Manifolds. Well the original AC lines have like a half cut style connection and the new ones don't so I just ordered new AC manifolds from LMR. I just added up all the replacement parts and it came to around $520, So I could have saved $70 and hid the dryer and a few lines.😥 Now I know! LOL thanks buddy!!!

Second to this would be a replacement EEC wiring harness.

If you can hear liquid flow through your heater core while driving its a definitive sign you definitely don't have one.

If only someone would make a complete wiring harness. I have an 85 GT and it had been pretty cut up. I’d love to replace it with a new harness.
