Maximum Motorsports threw their entire catalog at this car. I could only imagine how well this car handles and how fast it is with that coyote
its night and day... its like driving a miata now ^.^
Almost as fast as it would be with an LS3.
@@jamesgeorge4874 🤮 hardly, try a 454 cleavor with CHI heads, LS aint got anything on cleavors
@@narmale Richard Holdner has taken a *stock bottom end* LY6 north of 1500 HP. Heads, cam, springs, injectors, and 29 lbs of boost. It would cost more to equip your 60's era clevor with a rotating assembly that would survive 1000 HP, than it would to build the entire 1500 HP LS, my freind, this is 2021, not 1970.

We seriously need all automotive channel's showing their support for the RPM ACT.. I always enjoy these shows been watching power block since I don't know when..
I’m all for taking cars about to rust in half off the road (not patina surface rust ) but taking cars that are Safer lighter and better handling off the road is insane and stupid like the idiots that drive Tesla’s in a country run on coal and gas
Huge Maximum Motorsports fan here. They're one of the best things that ever happened for the Mustang community.
10000%
In 30 years of playing with Fox Mustangs I've never seen customer service like Maximum Motorsports. And their products are top shelf.
Yes!!! Excellent quality and R&D!!
I’ve got this exact same maximum Motorsports kit on my 93. The car sticks to the ground so nice now. It’s no joke and worth every penny! Very easy to install too.
How is the rear ground clearance under that torque arm ?
Good to hear, I'm looking to throw all this in my New Edge
I LOVE THE CLOSE TO $100,000 you throw at this car!!!
The full suspension kit is 6 grand. At most this car has to be 40,000.
Panhard bar and torque are the best mod done to my car, it hooks in corners and in straight line . No more ass end passing me!
make it like my car came stock, then they arent tail happy go carts....ive upgraded my torque arm too!
That thing gone handle like a beast😉
Fantastic suspension build. I would have loved to have seen some testing on the stock setup vs this though, Seeing the huge gains would have been fun to watch
I'm impressed with this episode. I was starting to loose faith. They resurrected this little fox in style.
Lose*
It doesn't need tightening nor did it escape.
Sorry, but that drives me nuts.
@@MrAcuta73 You may want to work on your punctuation. I wasn't planning on being graded for my grammar. I catch 90% of my mistakes but I don't sweat the 10%. I'm well aware of the difference between lose and loose. " It doesn't need tightening, nor did it escape." I fixed your incorrect sentence.
More content like this please. Watching engine builds is getting old for me.
As a man who has taken a steering wheel to the chest I can very much appreciate the collapsible shaft.
Aw man, glad you're still here brother
Great episode, guys. Now I wanna see some on car camera angles of that fancy suspension doing work on the track and under load.
7:23 Deeze nuts😂😂😂😂 They have a stronger grade then u find at the hardware store 😂😂😂😂😂
Lmao
Wow. Jack Hidley and Richard Oben in the same video. Awesome
Yikes this setup is ridiculous! Wow I’m impressed!
7:20 HA, GOTEEEEEM HAHA, Goteem
Awesome set up guys just awesome.
This looks very familiar, almost finished with my front install and collecting parts for the rear.
yeah buddy DEEZNUTS!!!!!
Was wondering if anyone else caught that
Thanks!
I need this entire set up for mine😤
Great vid!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Measuring in millimeters makes me happy 🤘 So much easier to use.
if you cant do both, you cant math
@@trillrifaxegrindor4411we can convert but MM is better
Totally awesome system.I’m an engineer I should know
Nice
Nice job men. Is there clearance for the street? The rear center traction arm looks like it will scrape the pavement , could be camera angle too.
Millimeters for accuracy and ease.
When Tony Stark builds a Fox Body
The best
On my 90 hatch I want to mini tub it for wider tires. Will I be able to use a coil over shock relocater kit with this set up? I want to auto cross and do some amateur road cource. I also want the Pro Street look for cruising and maybe hit the drag strip occasionally. I would like an all in 1 experience. Enjoy the content. Y'all keep turning those wrenches and be safe.😁👍
I used to host maximum Motorsports website like 20 years ago!
FYI... When doing cobra brakes... the SC terminator front calipers have slightly larger pistons.
Good content nonetheless
@7:24 I’m dead!! Lol
Suspension, nice.
G Force Tamer.
I don't know why I'm watching this. I'm just DREAMING of a panhard bar for decent rear end solidity.
Old episode. I think it originally aired 5-6 years ago.
ya, true enough Carson!
2014 per the end credits.
would be awesome to try out. where i live the roads are shit so it would be destroyed. maybe a little track time.
I need them to build my car 🔥🔥
Sweet ride
7:19 very important 😆
Aren’t subframes connectors supposed to be welded up with the car’s suspension loaded?
Should be
Mine was.
But I also didn't take my entire car apart either
make sure to keep all the factory parts like deez nuts😂😂😂
My 89 fox body mustang caught fire from an ignition switch Fire. Ford finally recalled them 8 million for the first Recall. 14 million in all.
7:23 nice
Why are we advertising k-series kinsler intakes lol on a fox body build video
Laser bobs would work well here
like these nuts.. classic
I noticed you did not install the headers on motor before it was installed from underneath. Is it possible to bolt on headers afterwards… meaning after the engine is installed??? Please clarify…
Was there ever a part 3 to this so we can actually see the car in action?
hello I have a question what part number are the rear coilovers I have a fox I would like to use those same since you say they are for 200 pounds
Guys where did you get the front brake dust sheild s from ??
No mention of a brake booster. I was curious.
You guys should do a Honda K series build 😉
K series shout-out at the end??
How much did all this cost and what car(s) could you have bought instead???
All the stuff i couldnt afford.
Adapted cobra brakes some 20+ years ago.
Nice build though.
massive bucks thrown at this built,my friend at work has an 88 gt with 98% of these upgrades (running a cast iron 5.0 thats built)and its clean as a whistle
7:23 😂😂😂🤣😂🤣
Im by no means a ford guy but that setup is pretty freaking awesome. I'm little surprised the brake routers aren't drilled and slotted tho.
a lot of track guys dont use drilled or slotted rotors because they're more likely to suffer cracking. also they lower your braking surface area overall. basically people just think they look cool and that's why they exist, lol
thats more for "prettiness"
Drilled rotors are bad, the holes create a weak point to crack once put through extreme heat cycles. However, the slots are good for trapped gasses to escape allowing even brake pad contact.
7:23 “deez nuttz” 😂😭😭
👍👍
6:25 *Face Palm*
No rear IRS?
Awesome car, they should of blasted the shock towers more, they rott there bad
I just saw a picture of a solid axel with the title corner carver and I had to laugh.
you missed the triangulated 3 link and the coilovers, you tit
@@trillrifaxegrindor4411 great so this the best cornering solid axle, that's like being the fastest morbidly obes person.
How much does this all cost

Did anyone else catch him pouncing on the torque wrench
7:23
Why would you run a cone style limited slip unit Auburn pro over say a Torsen style Eaton Truetrac?
FREE PARTS?
wavetrac is even better :3
@@narmale more expensive too :)!
@@larkm19 whats another 200 vs a whole new unit because the torsen granaded? i mean... :3
That is a lot of effort to not swap in a Cobra IRS which would've been cheaper and handled better over all.
IRS would've needed some work from Kenny Brown
What do you guys do after building a car?...do you sell them?...or do you keep them for yourselves?
sell them. i bought their 454ss featured on their Trucks! series
@@gearbanginentertainment7476 454ci LS engine truck?...which truck model was that?...i forgot

Like every average blue collar schmuck such as myself has 50K laying around for a build like this....
I guess I’ll just sell my house to fund my toy
Not at all once like them, but little by little, you can make it happen too
add 50% to that number easily....
I'd say, don't do this build without the total subframe package. I had a 89 4 cylinder that felt and sounded like it was going to fold in half going around backroad curves. What a pile of junk. Good times.
just wish it was a hatch
Like deez nuts… best one ☝️ ever 🤣
Some of these modifications don't seem to be planned originally. Some old fasteners and mounting spots don't look to have been cleaned up
Get the government out of performance upgrades and racing
I've got $3000 in parts from maximum I've been waiting over 2 months on and they haven't answered my emails
Yes, and that brings up a Question. Where do you get the (NITROUS OXIDE) without a Prescription?
Welding supply shops sometimes have it, or a speed shop.
I bet summit racing would have the nitrous, but NOT for medical use
@@RetroCheater81 Yes I tried the Welding Supply and they said I needed a Prescription before I could buy the Gas. A bunch of Crap.

Why not put a 9 inch instead. Yeah I know it’s made for it.

Doing a wheel alignment without settling the tyres and suspension will end up with wrong settings , As your aligner said that'll do.
Audience, I have a donor drivable 1993 Fox GT if you guys would like to build on your channel. I'll even donate funds to assist with the build...🤜🏼🤛🏼🙌🏼.
Haha now it's got 87 iron suspension. Torque arms suck.
Torque arms were used on the chevy monzas of the 70's.
