I am 44,and was blessed to see The Righteous Brothers in concert in Reno when I was a kid, just before Bobby was hospitalized here with cancer. Nobody knew at the time, and my mom and aunt were working the floor where he was. They would catch glimpses of Bill Medley as he hurried in and out to visit. They had been my favorite artists of all time up until the A cappella vocal band Home Free during the past 10 years. Both groups share the same style of talent, timing, harmonies, and the special way they soothe the heart and soul with their music.

The girl who arranged the social part was the wife of the team captain and turned out to be Welsh. She had a bit of a falling out with her husband over something or other and my entire team, plus supporters, serenaded her with this song. It worked. I will never forget the look in her eyes as she watched the boys slowly approaching and then looked to her man. Pure joy.

Hi sweetheart. Thank you so much for doing this video. It actually came out exactly 10 years before I was born. I am 49 and this song is still played in movies and TV shows to this day. Interesting part about them is they aren’t related. They got the name righteous brothers from when they did a gig in the south somewhere and after they had finished a member of the audience stood up and shouted “that’s righteous brother “and that is how they got their name. The one with the deep voice is Bill Medley and the one with the higher voice is Bobby Hatfield. Thanks once again for doing this video. Please take care and blessings to you from the UK.

Rock and Roll Heaven was another big hit of theirs.
Back when I was a kid my great uncle owned a bar in the town we lived in. My grandfather, his brother, my grandmother, my great aunt, my uncle and my father worked there at times.
We'd go on the weekends, back when family services wouldn't get called, for dinner, hanging out playing pinball, shuffleboard and dropping dimes in the jukebox, 3 songs for a dime, and all the stuff from the fifties and sixties were in there.

Coming from the U.K. I was privileged to live through the greatest era of music, some the best music and it’s even better now through UA-cam to see a re-emergence of it and brilliant to see the youth of today not only accepting it but but enjoying it. ❤

Thank you for your great reaction, very nice!
I am no glorified authority on every aspect of musical statistics, but for a few years now I have been watching/listening to many reactors and the music they've shared with us, and I have picked up a fair amount of info from them as well as a bit of fact checking.
You've Lost That Loving Feeling was the most played record on American radio stations in the 20th century. From very late 1964 thru 2001 it was played over 8,000,000 times, blowing away every song that was played over the airwaves from the first song was played on a wireless.
No idea what the stats might be Europe or South America.

Aileen I really love watching your reactions and would love to see you react to the Righteous Brothers " Soul and Inspiration" and the Bee Gees " Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow". Keep up the fantastic reactions to the best music of our lives.

4:03 " We had..." - no auto-tune, relatively basic microphones, exquisitely balanced in pitch and volume with split-second synchronisation (in the dark)... Righteous indeed !
