Somehow, Robo Rita returned.
I think it's supposed to take place in alternate timeline of once and always where she succeeds in going back in time.
It looks fun. Since I’m a huge fan of beat em up games like TMNT and Streets of Rage, this looks like a hidden gem, hoping it sells well.
What I hope is that they use the time travel to create DLCs for other Ranger characters to act as unlocks. Like Jen from Time Force or RPM Black. Like, do DLC teams which are mixups of various members that cover all the colors of a typical team. I feel like what we'll probably get is it hopping around different eras in MMPR, like the wild west.
Better yet her unused son Bubba along with Cyclopsis.
I'll give it a shot. I just hope it gets expanded on for more levels. Now to try out Shredder's Revenge since I used to play the TMNT Arcade1Up at my Walmart and beat the original arcade and Turtles in Time a lot
This is neat, an alternate timeline were Robo Rita won.
The animation cutscenes remind me of Megas XLR.

This does look fun. The most iconic MMPR game is the classic one that came out for the SNES. 👌
Love that it's a retro beat-um-up but the 2D animation cartoon parts look rough.

This game seesm like one of those out of the blue announcements that piques my interest. Shredder's Revenge was pretty good so I'm at least expecting something on the same level with this.
We need Mystic Mother to intervene here.

Hopefully time force are playable characters in this game.
Hey dosmrider I down & excited to play the “power rangers Rita’s rewind” on ps4 cause I still recovering from my childhood idol J.D.F’S passing & playing the vid game might cheer me up playing as Tommy the original mighty morphin green ranger & trying to see how the vid game goes of course now when’s the release date on the game arriving ?
This game looks very fun. I don't really care that it's MMPR related since this is the same team that did Shredder's Revenge. So they obviously based it off the 80s turtles. But I find it hilarious that we're getting this game and some dumb PR fans are complaining about more MMPR. Meanwhile Transformers fans are laughing at the fact that Reactivate is likely dead. That game has been in production hell longer than the PR reboot. Though I do think it would be cool if you could unlock other teams as skins for the rangers. Just to give you further incentive to play.

As much as it being mighty morphin is pandering, I have to say this looks amazing as hell, especially the mode 7 stuff.

The only thing I'm not really liking is the animated bits looking like bad flash animation. The Megazord looks alright but the characters look soooooooooo cheap but not in an endearing way. Other than that the gameplay looks super fun.
Ain't nobody buying a Lightspeed Rescue game, but why not another beloved season like SPD or create something original like what the comics do? It doesn't always have to be Mighty Morphin'.
Because MMPR is the only one people outside of the fandom would recognize and potentially pick up. The goal is to make money over what the fandom may want
At least make a PR game that involves other teams
The animated cutscenes looked godawful, not sure what they were smoking there. I do prefer the faux retro look to the faux Flash look Mega Battle used. I do wonder if this game will do anything as drastic as Mega Battle did by destroying Angel Grove.
