Fun fact: While Kiramager was the first season to had a crossover with Precure beyond the comercial breaks on tv, the first ever "oficial" crossover bewteen the two franchise in media (that wasn't in magazines) was a audionovel of a Dekaranger crossover with the Futari Wa Precure (the first season of the franchise)

- Jetman introduced the concepts of multiple sidearms and the third and remotely controlled robo, but also it was the first show in which the team is not formed in the first episode.
- Zyuranger was the first Sentai with the dinosaur and prehistoric animals motif. It was also the first Sentai to feature warriors from distant times.
- Dairanger was the first Sentai with mecha being based on mythological beasts.
- Kakuranger was the first Sentai to have the heroea transform into their own mecha and the first one to have three sets of "zords" (two of them being another first, that is humanoid "zords")

Counting spinoffs, Akibaranger is the first Sentai to have both the Blue and Yellow Rangers be female (and thus the first team to have more female members than male) and the first series to get a second season, and The High School Heroes is the first team to have a transgender Ranger, the first series to have episodes longer than the typical half-hour format, and the first to have the team transform with a phone app rather than a dedicated changer (I believe it's also the first Sentai media to be made in collaboration with a music group)

Wasn't X-Mask 1 from Maskman technically the first 6th ranger?
Also, I'm surprised some of the following facts weren't mentioned (and maybe could be in part 2?)
-Shinkenger was the first sentai with a female red ranger.
-Go Onger was the first to have both a silver and gold ranger (and technically two 6th rangers) introduced at the same time.
-Lupin vs Patou is the first two have two separate teams be featured in the same season.
-Go Ranger is the first to have a member of its core team to die (Kiranger)
-Kyouger is the first to have a none Japanese actor be a ranger. (Kyoryu Cyan)
-Go Busters is the first to technically have two versions of itself (Doubutsu Sentai Go Buster), first (and I think only) sentai to have two opening songs, and thr first to have leather jackets are the suits.
-Zyuranger being the first sentai to be adapted into Power Rangers (obvious one I know)
-Kyuranger is the first to have every ranger colour present in one season (even though white was just for a red ranger transformation)

I'm curious what your perspective is. what makes Kyoryu Red Carnival a battleizer, and not AbareMax. how will we define battleizer in the context of sentai? is it solely a Red ranger only power up form because if so, AbareMax would qualify. I don;t think the US exclusive battleizer that powers up AbareMax should disqualify AbareMax for first battleizer in sentai. even if we do disqualify AbareMax Dekaranger would use Power Rangers SPD's battleizer in Dekaranger vs Magiranger.
