of course man! keep kicking ass. but aw, cmon, broken arrow is a funny action shlock movie haha, travolta chewing the scenery is hilarious also of course homeschooling is fucked, makes kids totallly not well adjusted, socially inept, and parents arent qualified to be teachers, especially since theyre usually bible thumpers so they wont have an unbiased education haha, sex ed is out the window, scientific realities ditched, just trying to insulate these kids for no reason in this case that guy definitely had some issues you could tell in the video
I've seen this case on other shows before, and yeah that part really hits the heart strings the most. That poor kid, puts his trust and life in his brother's hands, and he gets murdered
One of the worst ones I've ever heard. The part where Michael was talking about how he was telling his siblings to let him in to help protect him just about destroyed me.
It's so painful and so difficult for normal people, human beings like you and myself and most everyone we know to understand how anyone can do these things to anyone, let alone our family and loved ones? They're obviously different and monstrous.
The screwed up part is Michael “begging” and telling his hiding siblings to let him in so he could hide from Robert too. That’s so dirty and such a heartless act, I can’t imagine the feeling of being instantly betrayed trying to save your big brother.
@@realchilldude1271 well, unless they are Christians, right? Isn't that how it works? I don't know, doesn't really give me any comfort, but I hope that you are right, and there is some type of cosmic justice. Well, as long as it's fair
@@realchilldude1271 a terrifying path to a big skinhead with swastikas tattooed all over his body, who does push ups all day and is going to make little Michael his prison wife and share him with the Aryan Nation
I think hearing that he was able to get his siblings to open the door for him cause he knew they would help if he was in trouble might be the worst thing I’ve ever heard from a family annihilation story.
The fact that Michael was able to get into the locked bathroom by pleading with the two children inside who had locked themselves there by telling them Robert was trying to kill him, too, is one of the saddest and most chilling things about this to me. Here they are thinking they're rescuing their big brother, and just as they open the door to let him inside they see he's suited up with a knife just like the other one. The betrayal and level of fear they must have felt. That's just heartbreaking to me.
@@gandymancan3460 Of the two of them I strongly, emphatically believe that the older brother was the one who was truly fucked up. In Michael's case, he was I think the 2nd oldest and probably enjoyed a different kind of relationship with his older brother than his younger siblings. Even willing to do just about anything (apparently) for them. I think it was the older brother's idea and I do think he is almost certainly schizophrenic among other things. His interview wasn't ever even released most likely because it was shorter. He likely was just like "Yes, we did it. Why? We wanted to. Period." Michael I think just got sucked into it, but left to his own devices and if the older brother either wasn't crazy or wasn't in the picture at all, I doubt Michael would have ever done something like this on his own. I could be wrong though. It was probably just pitched to him like "Hey, wanna do something fun?" and then Michael's like "Sure, like what?" and then of course he reveals his grand master plan, which involved more dead people after the family was taken care of first. Truly disturbing. You have to remember as well, they were homeschooled. So it's like, they existed in their own little world almost, keeping almost entirely to themselves which I do think breeds a certain sense of sociopathy in certain individuals because they simply cannot relate to others, particularly strangers, as effectively as they might had they been sent to the public or private school system like most kids.
Me too. That poor family. Hope she never finds out. It's absolutely traumatic hearing about it let alone going through it. Hope those little girls are happy, it's good that they're together. Sending them love and good wishes ❤️🦋
@@margaretdavis3858 I know. Absolutely chilling. Sadly they will find out. When they’re older, in 10 or 20 years time, maybe less, no one knows what the internet will look like exactly. But there will always be records such as this video and the many others, the books, news reports, the whole town will probably be remembered for this incident. I think it’s impossible for them to never find out, unfortunately.
The interview... That police man was brilliant. It must take a lot of determination, professionalism, and mental strenght to do that interview and keep the flow going. Being agreeable, understanding, talking like it is a casual and normal conversation, just because you want him to talk and know every little detail. He had a pause only when that monster casually answered that his 9 year old brother was not saying nothing while he was stabbing him, just, you know, screaming....
I haven't seen an interrogation vid with a cop that slick in awhile. Played that POS like a fiddle. No way I could have sat and listened to that monster detail his horrible acts and kept in together like that.
Agreed. He looked to me like he was struggling through some of that interview, as you would, but he did a sterling job. In fact, I notice that the police very often (though not always) seem to be able to project a very lighthearted kind of approach when interviewing monstrous types, very polite and friendly. I don't know how they keep their shit together, knowing what's just happened and what the scum across from them have just done. And with kids it would be so much harder. Credit to them.
I want to preface by saying that I'm in ZERO way defending any of the actions of people like this, but I'm starting to think the whole "lack of emotion" thing is a bit of a red herring. Deliberately misleading and often used manipulatively. I'm not implying any of that applies to you or had anything to do with your intentions. I think by sentencing day, let's say anywhere between 6-18 months since the offence. That's anywhere between 180-540 days spent in a place that is hell on earth. Borderline impossible to describe, incomparable to anything you or anyone has as a frame of reference for and unless you (You being the offernder in this scenario) have been to jail before, is totally incomprehensible. A place near specifically designed not only to break you psychologically. But also where you witness and live 24 hours a day, shows of emotion of any kind can literally cost people their lives. Whether in a dorm with 100 others, 8 man, 4, 2 or permanently isolated for protection. You have spent more hours analysing second by second of the past, the decision, the lead up, atrocities committed and what followed than your lawyer has spent thinking about all his defendants combined. The only time you've had away from that environment Has been in court having every second deconstructed under a microscope, in the only place on par or perhaps even more inhospitable to shows of emotion than jail has been. People have come and gone but you remain. The only fixture that isn't employed to be there. Witnesses and jurors may have outbursts emotion, deservedly so, that comes and goes but by that time you are so desensitised and not only that but you HAVE to be composed. You've witnessed someone else come a cropper each and every time you've got on the bus to court as a direct result of a show of emotion by either the defendant or the judge and as for lack of emotion in police interviews, I would suggest that you already have had to practice supressing all emotion to get to the point of committing whatever act, followed by having to examine and come to terms with what you've done and waiting to be caught, then overwhelmed by the turn your life has now taken because of your choice. I'm not arguing that there aren't nutters out there who are entirely incapable of emotion and are totally unhinged and detached from reality, but the more I think about it, the more I can't help but think, emotion shown under the circumstances seems potentially less healthy and more unnatural than it would be to (EDIT: 'fall apart. I meant to write stonewall and completely turn off emotion. As explained, you'd be pretty good at by now. And I would like to add, For all that you've witnessed, you also can't forget the number of times you did allow yourself to crack and fall to pieces and the entirety of everyone that witnessed it. Think "peeing your pants at school" except your teacher carries a mini 14, your classmates are people you've witnessed or at least are aware have literally snuffed the life out of people superior to you in EVERY aspect that counts. Done so Potentially IN YOUR new home and bed and then gone back to eating or writing a letter to their mother, followed by extreme and violent carnal relations with their favourite unwilling participant. (Probably a bit exaggerated for pre-trial, but would be in no way uncommon to experience in the 180-540 days post sentencing.) I think their sentencing day photos reiterate my last point there with a poeticness the likes of which, I could only dream. Do you think he chose that haircut?) Does this make sense to anyone else and does anyone else see where I'm coming from or even agrees to an extent. It's just a thought.

Yes , it did me as well. I have 4 grandkids that age. I get upset when they fall and hurt their knee or something. I can't imagine... dont want to imagine a scene like that. Often we get a mental picture of the stories we hear. I'm forcing myself to not get one with this. This is worse than any horror movie plot I've ever seen.

I hope both these monsters rot for what they’ve done.
I read this detective is actually on a gang task force. They pulled him in that night for this interrogation because of his experience with young people, the thought being he could get what they needed out of Michael. I think they thought right. He was excellent.
"they also intended to behead the baby" Now i dont get shocked that often when hearing horrific details about how people die but that really made me recoil in horror.

@Blue Moon WTF does Twitter have to do with anything?!? You’re being a touch dramatic with the police defense aren’t you? She literally said “thank god for the police” first. That you consider her questioning a blanket praise of police on a holy level (Thank God) to be police bashing is utterly ridiculous! Just as many other people have done, many police officers have committed atrocious crimes against humanity because they believed themselves to not only be above the law but to be the law itself! Judge, jury and executioner! That is not to say that good cops don’t exist. But there is a wariness that also exists. A downright fear that was created by cops that thrive on the power of control and the power of hate. They are the ones you should be looking at and blaming for a loss of trust. Taking a benign statement and turning it into a “bashing” statement only makes you a big part of the problem. There is NO group in society, not even cops, in which evil does not exist somewhere. Pretending that cops have all been right in their actions is only dividing us further. Your attitude is the same one held by most members of the catholic church in regards to priests! That attitude of denial is why thousands of children were/are assaulted sexually by the priests! Let justice do the strangling. I csnt imagine how tough that would be .
Daniel's second last act of calling 911 likely saved countless lives given their plans to go on a shooting spree. Then his last act was letting his brother inside, thinking he was saving him despite the danger to himself. Words can't even express how heartbreaking that is...
I'm sorry to say that this whole video plays right into his hunger for fame, though. I wish Mike had skipped this one. I heard the entire 911 call of one of their younger brothers on monsters and it was gutwrenching. The dispatcher asked and asked away and the little boy didn't want to be heard. He only wanted to live, but she went on and on until Michael lured him out of the closet or room where he was hiding. If you watch the bald detective closely, you can see at certain points where he is struggling to maintain his composure (at least that's my interpretation). At some points he looks like he will break down, at others, he looks like he's in utter disbelief, and at others, he looks like he's in pain for the child sitting before him. The man is so strong. I don't know how he got through that. I hope he's doing okay. What an interview to have to do.
These kind of stories are so heartbreaking. The younger children's trust were used against them. Daniel saved two of his siblings with that quick call to 911, makes me cry thinking about the pain those kids went through. I hope those two have a horrible time in prison.

Well I am glad Crystal at least survived the attack along with several of her siblings. It is too bad that any of the children died. The parents should have done a lot of things very differently. The whole thing could have been prevented.
A lot of mad respect for those mothers and fathers that are detectives and have to hold it together during these sorts of interviews with monsters like this.
You have to disconnect from the reality of things and put an emotional barrier between you and the facts, between you and the murderer...otherwise it’s just impossibile
Tricking his own family to “save him” has got to be one of the most psychotic and evil things I’ve ever seen. He also clearly had zero remorse, which was ominous and creepy.
He did act kind of bummed his cell phone was destroyed, though. That poor detective, having to play along with this little psychopath that the loss of the cell phone was even an issue compared to the massacre of tiny children.
That's the part that really got to me the most, I'm normally desensitised to all this, but this case with these two sick fucks really got under my skin. Tricking your kid sibling who trusted you who wanted to save you because they thought you needed their help. Argh man I don't wanna wish torture on anyone but these two I wish it for them
I'm going to be haunted forever about how the little ones were tricked. He used their innocence and goodness against them. I can't even stand the thought. Bless their beautiful little souls
Same here...that's the worst part of this all for me. Everything else is beyond awful and terrifying, but being tricked by your brother to leave a safer place, only to be stabbed by him and another brother...it breaks my heart.
Thank you for articulating that so beautifully. There is some monsters in the world, then there are angels like you who feel compassion so deeply. That in itself is healing.

When I was working as a correctional deputy, there were days/nights where I got off work and couldn’t even explain what I just dealt with for the past 12-16 hours. I’ve had to process the suspects when they were brought to the jail, and I’ve heard first hand and saw pics/videos of the crime scenes. DUI suspects who caused fatalities were probably the worst. We couldn’t tell they anything while they were still in “sobering”. Due to legal reasons, we couldn’t book them until they cleared sobering with a breathalyzer (.08 or lower) and medical (not all dui’s are alcohol related). Most started figuring out what happened the more sober they became. This could make it difficult to process them because the suspects would sometimes start crying and wailing uncontrollably or become violent towards the deputies and technicians. Fortunately the jail I worked at had four single booking rooms with reinforced windows, so the techs didn’t have the threat of physical harm. They did however have to deal with screaming, crying, smells, and the occasional jack-hole trying to spit through the small pass-thru for paperwork. I was medically retired out in 2013 after five years due to injuries from fighting with an inmate, and there are still stories that I’ve never told anyone. People say I’m just making stuff up because they can’t comprehend what goes on inside those walls.

Can’t imagine the pain Crystal must feel though. I'm from Broken Arrow. This senseless murder upset the community to say the least. The sisters that survived changed their names and are adopted. The older girl is in therapy. The father had already intercepted one shipment of ammo that the boys had ordered. The father got really mad at the boys when he found the ammo and they got in a lot of trouble over it. That was one reason they decided to go ahead and attack the family. That part was on our local news. Needless to say those two are where they belong for the rest of their lives. Just a side note. Michael probably couldn't have pens or pencils because he had tried to kill himself once already. Hence the crayons.
Any idea where they were planning on getting the guns? Ammo is able to be purchased and sent right to your house. But guns ordered online have to be sent to a licensed gun dealer like a gun store or something. Then you can't just pick them up. You have to pass a background check and theres also a waiting peroid. So were they planning on getting them at a gun store? Did their parents have guns?
No I don't. But they might have been planning on using their fathers. These two may have had plans for printable 3D guns. But I don't know about that. That's just a guess on my part but it makes sense because both were under age at the time.
@@adalavin8648 just FYI, 3D printed guns are a novelty. They wouldn't last long or do much damage compared to an actual firearm. The media would never tell you that but its facts.

The pic of the older brother when arrested is just sinister, it was like looking at a demon. I know you aren’t supposed to judge a book by it’s cover but I had a feeling from the beginning he was gonna be the crazy one just from the stuff he uploaded on UA-cam.
i hate when people call these horrible people monsters or demons. its to try and distance yourself from the fact they're also a human, like you and me. we dont understand or fathom their thinking, so we want to say theyre not human. they are. they were defenseless infants at one point, like all of us. calling these people monsters or demons isnt going to get rid of the fact theyre just like us physically, human. its more fathomable to act like its an outside force or not being natural, when in fact killing fellow man has always been apart of "being human", no matter how uncomfortable that fact is.
i get sad watching this stuff yet this guys channel is so good it is a conflict , been times ive looked at these cases and almost get sick but then I keep watching, it is like eating chillies or something
I heard of this slaughter. The Family name is actually the same as mine, just a different spelling. I am the 8th of 11 children of an extremely religious family. This could have been my family. This story was devastating to me. We escaped this simply because my violent oldest brothers were drafted into the Vietnam War.
These people that kill their parents - they never realize how their moms/dads ( most ) wiped their butts 1000x, fed them, loved them and hoped for good things for them in their futures. It's the most horrible payback to murder them. Any gripes I had about my parents and siblings start to disappear as I age.Great video of a horrible tragedy.
did you miss the point where the dad was abusive and they isolated their kids in a home with an abusive parent? I'm not defending people who kill innocent parents but that dad was no saint, he married a 15 yr old and the mother helped with fucking up the kids

Oh my God yes, its absolutely unreal. Its also hard to believe one or both don't suffer some yet to be diagnosed disorders.
Period."
Michael I think just got sucked into it, but left to his own devices and if the older brother either wasn't crazy or wasn't in the picture at all, I doubt Michael would have ever done something like this on his own.
Right they wanted to save their brother but got killed instead . Ugh 😩 😭
Yes how could anyone do that?

I know.
Yes, the policeman was visibly shaken. He showed more empathy than Michael.
He was playing the kid.
Credit to them.
that was the moment I could listen no further. so, ya the detective did a great job
The fact that Michael had zero emotion. Not one tear while talking about his mother or siblings. The whole thing is incomprehensible.
Like he's an empty vessel filled with a demon...
He did have some "emotion" when he was talking about how he doesn't have a phone anymore.
Demonic possession
(Probably a bit exaggerated for pre-trial, but would be in no way uncommon to experience in the 180-540 days post sentencing.)
I think their sentencing day photos reiterate my last point there with a poeticness the likes of which, I could only dream.
Do you think he chose that haircut?)

I'm sure it affects him. He's human. Guarantee it. You can tell he isn't devoid of empathy by his anger after he comes back into the interrogation

Actually it was the 9 year old who called 911 from the bathroom before he was murdered. Makes that call all the more chilling. Because then the brother convinced him to let him in and took the phone and killed him. Breaks my heart. He was so proud retelling it to the cop in the interrogation too.
But guns ordered online have to be sent to a licensed
gun dealer like a gun store or something. Then you can't just pick them up. You have to pass a background check and theres also a waiting peroid. So were they planning on getting them at a gun store? Did their parents have guns?

i get sad watching this stuff yet this guys channel is so good it is a conflict , been times ive looked at these cases and almost get sick but then I keep watching, it is like eating chillies or something
@@lisashhotwife2732 you love it, ya pervert!
I'm one episode away from making "hey you" my alarm ringtone.
"Hey you. Time to get up and start a new day. Let's give it a goo".
I'm always saying "Hey you." To people and I keep adding the "And welcome." Smh lol
I heard of this slaughter. The Family name is actually the same as mine, just a different spelling. I am the 8th of 11 children of an extremely religious family. This could have been my family. This story was devastating to me. We escaped this simply because my violent oldest brothers were drafted into the Vietnam War.
so sad...no one deserves death like this
These people that kill their parents - they never realize how their moms/dads ( most ) wiped their butts 1000x, fed them, loved them and hoped for good things for them in their futures. It's the most horrible payback to murder them. Any gripes I had about my parents
and siblings start to disappear as I age.Great video of a horrible tragedy.
Very WELL said. 💜👍✌️
did you miss the point where the dad was abusive and they isolated their kids in a home with an abusive parent? I'm not defending people who kill innocent parents but that dad was no saint, he married a 15 yr old and the mother helped with fucking up the kids
The most sad thing is how he tricked their siblings. Before they died they just wanted to help the other brother. Sad case all around.
Adding “Manson Lamps” to my vocabulary 👍🏻
Me too lol. I love that 😁
Yup, me too. That was awesome.
Tony Soprano used it in the Sopranos when referring to Ritchie Aprile.
It's from The Sopranos btw.
Same lol I had a good chuckle
Hey Mike, would you please put subtitles on when the accused are being interrogated? It can be very hard to hear or understand what they are saying. I freaking love your videos! You are by far the best UA-camr out there, in my opinion, just wanted to ask if you could do that one small thing. Thanks for being so awesome 😎 and all your work making these incredible videos!!!!👍😁😄😃😀
Captions are not bad.
I put the UA-cam subtitles on during interrogations.
The closed captions sometimes help, but much of the time they are hilariously wrong.
@@laurenc5652 I'm deaf I rely on subtitles but YT subtitles are not always spot on which is annoying.
@@Gazzi79 that's understandable. I've seen that happen too where they arent correct.
