Flesh in the Pipes | The Disturbing Case of Adam Strong

- Опубліковано 3 тра 2021
- In 2017, Rori Hache disappeared from Oshawa. Two weeks later, a horrifying discovery would be made in Lake Ontario, and then a few months later, a plumber would be called to a certain house. Pipes blocked, and a man named Adam Strong was very anxious.

The guy who calls the cops to report body parts, but first asks the dispatcher “how are you?” is maybe the most Canadian thing ever.
🤣
Never forget your manners 😂👍🏻
As a Canadian, it surprised me not to hear the dispatcher or plumber apologize at least once.
And then the dispacher says ...fine and how are you? Lol. It is a very Canadian way.
Meanwhile American dispatchers:
“what do you want?” in an annoyed, inconvenienced voice
If a plumber says something smells bad, you know it's gotta smell bad.
Yeah no kidding, I gag just trying to snake hair out of the shower drain.
They have to deal with all kinds of shit.
@@tillitsdone quite literally
Plumber may be traumatized as well. Can always go back to his old gig.. brain surgeon.
What a munt- how hard it would be to sit across from it @ literally not hurt him... amazing restraint..!
Rip beautiful gURLs .. I hope ur in a better place....!😌
As a recovered heroin addict that was homeless in New Orleans during a time someone was murdering and decapitating homeless women and sex workers (pretty sure we all know who did it and at one point he slept in the same squat house as me whoch makes me shiver when I think about it. He's dead now), my heart chokes up a bit when Mike says, "she was loved".
I was so far gone, I just accepted I was going to die on the streets. So I kept a note in my purse (I didn't have an ID) with my name, birtdate, and my mom's phone number. Along with an apology to her and my stepdad and telling them I loved them.
Stories like this one make me feel a lot of gratitude I have made it out of that hell and I'm now 6 years clean....some people are not as fortunate and their mothers didn't get to see them get their lives together.
Congratulations on your six years. Glad you made it out and found that life has plenty waiting for you!
Congrats on 6 years clean that is huge. If I can be personal too...my brother was a heroin addict for years when I was a teenage and it's so hard for everyone. I was angry with the lies, the drugs, the stealing..but I still loved him and I wish I treated him better because I was too young and stupid to realize how much he must have been hurting to be in that place too. Anyway- anytime I see a recovered or current heroin addict my heart just goes out to them, and I'm so actually proud of you hearing that you beat the same demon my brother fought all those years ago.
@@littletechn8175 oh I'm so so so sorry. And don't beat your soul up over the past. I'm not sure if he's alive but either way, he knows you loved him. I stole from my family and they were so angry with me. When I went to jail for 9 months they were there for me. My mom only missed 2 visits and put money on my commissary account so I didn't need anything in jail. It meant a lot to me.
I wish I could give you a real hug love but an internet hug is the best I can do.
*hugs*
That was then.....this is now.....my moto. Good for you. Keep going forward. Much love to you.
Don't expect too much from people. Especially family. Fight your life out
When he was ordering fast food from that cop, I was really impressed with that officer not ripping his head off.
Right especially since they don’t even sell spicy chicken wraps anymore.. so mad he got one 😡
@@carolinam4361 lol thats the part that bothered you
@@carolinam4361 I literally ordered a spicy chicken wrap today and I get them all the time. Wym
That’s part of their training, they have to show incredible restraint to be able to build the case and get the information they need. If they get mad at the person and start yelling at them, it jeopardizes the whole case. But I agree it must be very hard sometimes, especially when you have to listen to pedophiles describe what they did to kids.
I would have said you get 2 items off the mix n match menu.....no substitutes LOL
I loved that you said, "She was kind, she was loved. She had her issues." It's so important to remember that someone isn't defined by their addictions. They can be kind. They are loved. Thank you for remembering that victims are loved family members and friends.
👍
❤️❤️❤️
Mike is such a class act and so much beloved here on YT. 🌹💓
I knew a girl who was kind, she was loved and definitely had her issues. She died of an overdose and to me that is foul play.
Thank you, and thank Mike for your humanity.✨
UPDATE --
Adam Strong has now been sentenced to life in prison.
As of Friday May 28 2021.
Are the sentences consecutive? Because otherwise, it doesn't mean life in prison.
@@jturtle5318 They are concurrent and he will be eligible for parole after 25 years.
But, being eligible for parole doesn't mean he's going to be granted release.
Love how he got sentenced on my birthday. It was like a little birthday present from the courts. Still freaks me out how close to home this was..
@@Faithinator133 Happy Birthday!
amen..!!~thts one of many tht need to b caught..!!
I like that when there's a victim that struggled with drug/alcohol abuse, Mike doesn't make fun, doesn't dwell on it. He make it as 'it happens, these are people.` Dunno, I've just always appreciated it.
I feel the same. Mike is great like that ❤️
As a recovering addict (in recovery 5 1/2 years from a pretty severe pain pill addiction), I also appreciate it. I think most of us have developed pretty thick skin over time as a necessity but I'd by lying if I said it didn't sting a little when I see people say we deserve to be dead, to be raped, beaten.... I've had people on Reddit go through my post/comment history and dm me saying some pretty terrible things like that I should be euthanized because a junkie will always be a junkie and the only good junkie is a dead one. So yeah, I appreciate him not victim blaming people that were struggling with active addiction.
@@XxXShevampXxX Congratulations on your sobriety!!! I know firsthand how hard it is to overcome. We do really recover (if we choose to) 💜

It was just AS IN YESTERDAY announced that Adam revealed the location of Kandis's body she has been returned to her family. And another contractor found more suspicious items in his old house that may lead to other victims. Just wanted to share that.
Thank you!
Has he had his ass kicked in prison yet?
Can I ask where/how she was found? And how many victims he's suspected to have killed?
I just commented that there is no way he only killed 2 girls the way he was so blasé in that interview he has totally killed more victims
Was he sentenced? I can’t believe he might not get the death penalty.
Kandis’ family tried to report her missing in 2008. With her past, the police wouldn’t deem her missing, just a run away. Then finally in 2010, the police allowed the report to be filed. She was missed from day one.
That is truly sad
That makes me feel better about it. It sounded like there just wasn’t anyone who cared enough to report her. I’m glad she had people who cared. Rest In Peace to both of the victims. What a terrible story.
You know I think it happens that way with a lot of missing persons ....
That is how they do ya! I have heard the cases! Cops..."She probably just ran away. Stop bothering us, you piece of sh*t."
That makes more sense. Great cop work strikes again.
The plumbing wasn’t “inadequate”. It’s not meant to have flesh shoved down it.

I wonder if he's even considered how far reaching organizations like The Hells Angels are in a place like prison. He would be prey no matter who he brutalized and killed. But when you hit a member of their family, the outcome is never pleasant. Instead of trying to bargain for a TV he probably should have been bargaining for protection. This POS is a dead man walking.
When you make enemies of the Hell's Angels, then prison is the last place you'd want to be

I hope they throw him a party in there
Wow! The disgust of him offering his “Condolences!” That gave me chills
"I can smell this video."
Mike, I think we all did.
This guy is the most relaxed, casual, almost jolly psychopath I’ve ever seen on these episodes. Also the most enthusiastically non-remorseful.
Reminds me of Joel guy jr. during his murder trial of his parents.
@@haleyt3754 I can see that!
Honestly, they all were. The plumber was, the cop was, hell, even the mother seemed cool and rehearsed. It's gotta be a regional thing. XD
He just wants to be comfortable, you know.
In a way it makes him so much scarier... truly not an ounce of empathy or remorse. Like not even an awareness of what that means
Oh yes. Making him comfortable in jail is top priority 👌 This is the strongest level of narcissism I've seen in a very long time. Wow. But I LOVE how Mike doesn't put ANY less value of the lives of people who are typically called "throw away people'. Instead acknowledging them as vulnerable, which is exactly accurate. Very compassionate Mike.
The audacity he has to ask for internet and an “allowance” to be comfortable in prison. What a sick freak!
Plumbers must have seen it all. Respect to that man who just discovered human flesh chunks down a toilet and sounded as calm as ordering pizza with 911.

I lived in the upper part of the house where Adam Strong resided (in the basement). He would constantly blast metal music, cook food (that smelled very weird) and leave for work usually around 10pm to take the bus to his job (at an Ajax gas station). Adam did not drive, however, he had a small fishing boat he would park in the driveway. He never took out his garbage, and was ultimately a hoarder. He kept very much to himself. One day the power went out because of an ice storm and begged for him to come in (because we had a wood burning stove in our place) above him, and he wanted to keep warm. He gave me the creeps from day one, and I’m still shocked, sad, and horrified of what I’ve found out about Adam considering I shared a home with him. Now living in North Oshawa and hearing that he has buried another woman up hear I’m very saddened and feel for both families. I’m glad he’s in custody and will never be able to hurt another woman again! These women were loved very much by their families and friends and it’s extremely sad that this monster took their fate into his own hands. My condolence to both families. I’m very sorry for your losses.
lies
What are lies? The woman who lived to the left of us (Josie) stares out the window constantly. Watches everything that happens on the street. Maybe if you drive by, you’ll catch her cutting her lawn with scissors. If you have any other questions about Adam Strong I’d be happy to answer them. Also, he had a signature wall in the basement with names of multiple people on it.

@@kimmyd6423 condolences to you and your family. She looked like a pretty, nice girl. Horrible and immensely sad what happened.
Thank you for covering Rori and Kandis' case. I was born in Oshawa in 2002, and lived there til very recently. I remember the news that a torso had been found in the lake... What happened to Rori is a deep wound for myself and most others.
Oshawa is a diverse city with many dangerous pockets, such as our downtown where Strong lived on McMillan. He kidnapped both girls from the downtown area, where many of us would access public transportation to get home, to the mall, etc. Oshawa was never safe to us, but finding a girl much like ourselves in such a manner... that made things real.
I hate Adam Strong for his brutality and his deranged crimes, but most of all, for his cowardice. The families deserve to know what happened to their daughters, and why he felt he had the right to execute them. If he can tell the police "the jig is up, she's in the freezer," (actually quote), he can tell them what he did and why. He'll never fully give the girls back to their families, and that's the most sickening part of it all.
I feel the same way about killers like that. They're the worst. It's fun for them to keep info from the cops and families. They're sadistic, that's why. There are some serial killers that give out the info, at least. Btw, thanks for saying the "jig" is up. Every time I see it online someone writes the GIG is up. That's not the right word. Off-topic I know, but I appreciate it anyway.
"I just want to be comfortable in jail, man...." I really hope he's made extremely uncomfortable for a long, long, long, long... long.. time..
@UNABOMBER MANIFESTO - He's going to prison, no jail. Canadian prisons are pretty cushy compared to the shitholes in the US, and considering that Adam Strong will likely spend his time isolated from dangerous inmates, if he's a guy who likes to keep to himself, he might not even suffer that much there after a few rough years of acclimatization.
There is no death penalty in Canada, so life in prison might no be that hard for that scumbag.
People who get the death penalty in the US have muuuuch harder life inside than the others, since they aren't allowed to make contact with other prisoners (and make friends to play cards, get high, lift weights, pass the times...) because since they have literally nothing to lose they are the most dangerous; they can't have a routine, they don't have access to commissary items/comfort food, get a job inside the prison and do something with their life like studying, and the date of the execution takes a long time to determine so that feeling of dread never leaves them...
I often see people write that life in prison is much worse than the death penalty, because they have to stay in forever.
But in reality, after a few years, most lifers are institutionalized and have made peace with the fact that they'll never leave that place.
It doesn't mean that their life is over though, there's lots of ways to communicate with the outside world, to find new hobbies, to buy a TV and play video games, read lots of books (or write one?), get a job that you actually enjoy inside, either legal
(cooking, repairing TVs, radios, building stuff to sell...)
or illegal
(becoming a tattoo artist is a common one, or brewing the finest prison wine, finding new & exciting ways to gets synthetic cannabinoids through the post office).
Sorry about the long long post ^^'
There's a reason criminals do all they can to avoid the death penalty, because it means that the time you'll serve before the execution will be really *shitty*. Even if you have money, so usually you'd be able to buy a TV and all the food you want, plus extra pillows and sheets, all that good stuff, not on death row...
@UNABOMBER MANIFESTO you must be american or somthing in Canada it's nothing like that criminals have "rights" or whatever
@@randallflagg3700 interesting you said that, I watched a video on the Patreon of JCS Criminal Psychology about death sentence inmates and I couldn't imagine the endless wait for your death in complete solitude. Yes, life in prison changes your world, but you're right about the social interactions and meaning you can still acquire when in there. The best part of the death sentence is probably the moment you finally die...
I mean people speak in jail and will eventually find out what you're in for, they will make sure this guy will have a living hell in jail.

Adam finally gave up more information on where to find Kandis’ remains. They were found buried in North Oshawa (in a fairly new residential area where I live, formerly Windfields Farm) in early November 2021 and officially confirmed to be her by police on February 16/22. Her family can finally have closure 14 years after she went missing.
I'm still wondering why both Rori's mother and sister left her in ER at the hospital before she was seen by a doctor. If she was a risk to herself, then at least stay with her until her examination is over with and move on from there. It's crazy!
It was roris friends mother and roris friend who dropped her off
How did they come into contact with him and get them to his place? He's disgusting.
Sitting here in Oshawa, approximately 2 blocks away from the murder house... so excited to hear what you've dug up on this case. this doesn’t excuse the mother for not checking on her homeless 18 year old daughter. i get that it’s not so black and white, but then after she’s found dead, don’t try and act like you were mother of the year and you can’t go on without her. like she hadn’t been going on without her for months by that point. bad parenting is an epidemic, just as much as narcotics is. they both contributed to her death.

I went to college in Oshawa and I remember so clearly when this all happened and Rori went missing. The human trafficking issue in the city is huge and her case struck total fear into all young women in the area
Thank you for treating the victims like people regardless of their addictions. A lot of people forget that addicts are people too

That was her friends mother. Rori's mother was in the hospital recovering from injuries due to a house fire at the time Rori went missing
Addiction doesn't make her less of a person, she was struggling. She deserved so much better. 💔💜
Absolutely. She was so young. She may have gotten off drugs one day, and had a good life. This monster took that away from her AND her family. There's no better feeling for a parent, than when their addicted child finally gets clean and sober.
Well said.
True that. But, why the need to express that truism here? I didn't think our Mike suggested she was any less of a person for being "on the pipe", just that she had problems, witch I'm sure no-one in their right mind could argue with, surely Shirley???

That was the most Canadian 911 call I've ever heard in my life.
That wasn't a 911 call. He was calling his work.
Yea! And when the operator answered with the jolliest "Communication", I thought that call was to the plumber's boss and figured that it was the weirdest name for a plumbing company :D
911... hi, how are ya?
"Hey there, how are ya doin', eh?"
"Hi there! I'm good, eh, how are you doin'?"
"Good, thanks so much! So, I'm a plumber, eh, and I've been pulling out some body parts over here..."
"Oh no! That's just the worst, eh?"
"Oh yeah, it's not my best day, ya know"
"Yeah........... eh 🍁"
That's how that call played out in my mind 🤷🏻♂️ I'm in the US, and if I called the police and asked how they were doing I'm almost positive I'd either get cussed out or hung up on... or both 😅 maybe even arrested lol
@@justinburchette Shut up... Jesus
I believe there are more victims. No way you go a decade without killing someone in between. There’s likely a few people missing out there that their family members have no idea they are missing or deceased.
Can't understand how someone can live like that..in complete 🤢
If Adam Strong hadn't put the remains down the waste pipes and clogged them up needing a plumber he probably wouldn't have been caught! Everything about that guy makes my skin crawl!
But he didn't call the plumber. The upstairs neighbors did. I just can't believe that the land lord didn't evict him.
The only place clean in the whole apartment was the bathroom!!!
Same. I don’t know how that cop stayed so calm. I wanted to throttle that creep several times. So much when he talked about an allowance, Internet, tv & being comfortable in jail. Lol. Man he really lives in an alternate reality. I bet he gets nothing but a wall to stare at 24 hours a day in protective custody.

Note how he points out that if the plumbing had been better, absolutely none of this would have been found out. It is deeply disturbing to me how someone can do this in the middle of a crowded city and go undetected for nearly 10 years.
Soon enough we will have Smart sewer systems, so this will no longer be possible. Or illicit drug use. Or eating more sweets than the government allows.
