Nice, honest review of the torch. Looks like a great light for a good price. Always worry about the impact of strong lights on marine life too. You hope people are responsible when using them.
Thanks for your video, I am debating between the 710 and the D530, what are your thoughts? is it worth the additional lumens and smaller beam? Also you mentioned your preference of a wider light for night dive, what would be your recommendation?
Hey, we can't comment on the D530 as never used. However, the D710 is a great light? Reliable and robust. Yeah, for night dives, when we are filming, a wide angle light with no hot spots is perfect. For night diving, we use the SeaLife Sea Dragon range of lights. Other great dive lights are Big Blue, Kraken, and Keldan
Hey, the OrcaTorch D710 is a good entry reasonable priced dive l9ght for night diving. Ours lasted for about 400 dives until battery stopped charging recently. We have been using Anchor Dive Lights from Ireland recently and honestly they are amazing. They ship globally and would highly recommend.
@@BlueHorizonDiving hi Blue Horizon! Thanks for the reply. Could you give any advice or review on the Orcatorch D710 vs the D570 Green Laser? Many of the local dive centres/shops have been pushing sales on the D570 GL so I'm not sure if they're trying to clear their current stock, as usual. I'm not sure who to trust and haven't found a D710 vs D570 comparison. Wondering if you have any input on that!
We have never used the D570 so unsure on comparison to D710. Apologies for that. The D710 was a good dive light and rebust but sadly the battery stopped charging which wws disappointing after a year and 400 dives. That is defo a complaint about it and never had any luck with Orca willing to replace batter.

I own this torch also. Review is 100% accurate. It is super bright but very tiny focused beam.
Thank you 😊 we try to be honest and fair
I have three D550. Best back-up light I’ve ever owned! Amazing cost benefit!
The cost is defo amazing benefit considering quality for a backup!
Them seem to be everywhere now the OrcaTorch
Excellent product review. We own two orcatorch D530. With “only” 1000 lumens which is more than enough light for our dives.
Exactly and thank you 😊
So many people have Orcatorches now
Nice reviews . Keep going and keep telling the true 👏👏
Thank you 😊 and that what we believe being honest and truthful
The shark shot is waaaaay cool!!!! Nice!
Was so cool 😊

Which part of Iz you in as Holly and me moving to Oz in July 2022?
How does this compare to the D850
We have never used the D850 so wouldn't be able to say. But the D710 is robust and reliable.
