@MatthiasLebo Yes, I have both - the D710V retains all the plus points you mentioned but doesn't have a hotspot, so makes a far better video light. It also has red and UV light modes - would be very interested to see you review it. And generally see how you'd use those red and UV modes.
good review I bought it however a big negative also is if you use it in cold water I only get about 50 minutes on it on high setting. Far from the 1 h our 40 mins advertised
