Saw The Cult in 98 and wow! I’ve seen Clapton, Quiet Riot , 38 special, and many more, and let me say, not many can compare with The Cult’s live performances.
I saw them live in 90-ish when Sonic Temple came out.... to this day they are the only band that sounded better live than on Album and that album was produced amazingly well. These guys are hands down one the best live bands out there, the guitar work is top notch , as is the song writing and Ian’s voice is iconic.

The album that no one has The self respect to admit that is one of the very best in history of music in general... LOVE ALBUM! Only Master piece and some real good shit for the ears of the ones who still walk on Earth with some kind of respect and dignity to know what is or not Music. If there is anyone that can still understand this days what that is. This guys are not good, they r unbelieveble.
What a Beatle-esque composition and the arrangement to boot, it ain't just power chords, it's fine song craftsmanship, the sacrilegious comparison is a thumbs up to The Cult. If you can catch them live, please do and tell me all about it. Cheers.

They were disbanded from 1995 to 1998. They got back together in 1999.
