As someone who went to school for printing, the k in CMYK stands for key. The black layer is the key layer for tying everything together in a cmyk print.

It’s funny now that the shiny versions of these two have been released, Zacian’s is bright cyan and Zamazenta’s is magenta.
Also, it’s kind of funny you mentioned the 3rd Pokémon being a dragon. Eternatus is a red dragon and visually looks very sharp and almost spear like.

Fire fighting is because in Japan the Fire represents the spirit or energy to fight, against adversity, to get what you want, etc. It is also a common theme in occident, with phrases like "the fire in her eyes" when you are talking about someone who is combative or is gonna stand for themselves.
I would love that a fire/fighting pokemon that is not a starter but obtainable in gameplay is utilized. Maybe then the hatred wears off

Zygard's dog form is more indicative of Garmr rather than Fenrir. Fenrir being the world eating Wolf that eats the world, while Garmr (Which is my puppy's name) was Hel's guard DOG (Old stories refer to Garmr as dog or hound and never Wolf like Fenrir and his offspring, the ones who chase the sun and moon...

Well, the 3 creatures around Yigdrasil (however you spell the name of the stupid tree) are actually a dragon at the base, a hawk at the top, and a squirrel that runs between them. I can see Yeveltal as the hawk and Zygard as the dragon, but Xerneus doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere.

9:36 Well kubfu, urshifu, and the dojo are often idealized with the color yellow in the first dlc and uhhh.... necrozma does show up as the 4th challenge in the second dlc... and spectrier, the galarian birds, and regidrago all have a moderate to heavy black color theming... so like i guess the printer ink idea works

Forever Outraged Mythical Pokémon are Pokémon that can only be acquired through events, such as Arceus, Volcanion, or Mew. Latios and Latias aren’t mythicals since they can be acquired without needing an event. Dragonite isn’t even a legendary.

Thought I would come back and say that yes the colors was right. As is the Norse wolves idea.
The sword and shield also draws from king Arthur’s shield and sword Prydwen and Excalibur respectively.
So there’s that.
And Eternatus is a dragon which lined up with one of the ideas and the dynamax cannon attack lines up as well with one of your ideas. While the animation is performed Eternatus vaguely resembles a spear.

I don’t know this might help but in the crown tundra dlc spoilers: th legendary Pokémon their is called calyrex and his pokedex entire says he was king of the galar region. Along with stopping a meteor which if it is the same meteor that eternaus came on it might make sense.

"Za" is also the Japanese pronunciation of "The" (you know, like ZA WARUDO), the names are literally just "The Cyan" and "The Magenta".

+Agent Waffle Dunsparce have been foreshadowed as a super powerful evil legendary Pokémon since gen 2 and we never knew! They tricked us good. Seriously though, Dunsparce need an evolution, not a mega though. Screw megas, stealing evolutions like it did with Sableye. Poor Sableye.

They’re going after each other. Zamazenta is feminine and attacking the wolf with the moon sword, and Zacian is masculine and attacking the wolf with the sun shield

I'd say there is a third, because when you go back to where you get the rusted sword/shield and then you get Zacian/Zamazenta later on, but, if you go back to where you get the rusted sword/shield you can still hear howls of wolves, or another theorie, there could be multiple legendary wolves? Those are my theories.

When it gets mad its gun shaped fur opens a dualie gun which mostly fires Behomath Ranged

I know I'm super late to this, but what if Corviknight was given a rusted spear and it gives it armor and a new secret flying type move that only it could learn. Nintendo could have made another part of the game and titled it Pokémon Spear and the logo would be a black Spear with a raven on it.
