OKAY! For the literal dozens of comments; I know what a Glacier is!! What I don't get is the name "Galceer" because I don't buy that it's a simple corruption of the word, so what does "seer" mean? It's good at seeing things...?
Well it could've been a combination of Glacier and sear since frostbite is technically classified as a type of burn. You don't typically think of it as a burn because it happens with extreme cold. But it's apparently classified as a burn?
Personally, I think Braviary’s in-progress evolution should be a real thing. Rufflet not being able to evolve until level 54 is ridiculous. Thank you for another fun video, Emperor Cubone.
I’ve always really thought there are some Pokémon who really need a middle evolution. They go from some tiny cute little creature like cubchoo you and all the sudden there this huge freaking monster beartic. Or Growlithe to Arcanine. I do think the five stage Evolution line is a little much though. I think three should be the max.
Mudstang might be a cool name but the artist missed some potential. It’s natural evolution goes from donkey to horse, so if you have a transition stage it has to be a mule which is literally half donkey and half horse.
This is a fun concept but I think part of the magic of Pokemon designs is that the evolutions can be so distinctive. I think this is partially why so many fakemon designs are kind of plain since they tend to have one idea then stick with it through the evolutions. Pokemon on the other hand considers concepts and mental/spiritual growth and not just physical. Magikarp turning into Gyarados is a prime example since it's based on a legend. All the gen 8 starters basically go from innocent child to "rebellious" teen to confident adults. It also just makes evolution more exciting especially if you've never seen what something evolves into before.
Feel like an honorable mention can be given to Venonymph, the in-progress stage for the underrated and overlooked Gen 1 Lepidopteran Bugs, Venonat and Venomoth, it feels so believable as a middle stage and works as that bow to a gift to complete the line altogether Also happy birthday Emperor Cubone! I love the Glaceer one, it does a great job at showing what could have possibly been inbetween the 2 stages and the name being a play on the word glacier is nice too
I think keeping the middle Tyrunt stage and switching the last 2 names would be cool. So it goes: Tyrunt, Tyrantrum and finally Tyrampant. The first stage being a "runt", second being a moody teenager and the final being fierce and rampant is a good progression to me.
This kind of fan arts just show me how much creativity pokemon has as a franchise. from designs to clever names, not to mention other aspects like things based on lore and town designs - its more than a regular game or even an RPG, it really is its own kind of endless world
Hear me out- what if we saw Pokémon like this in-game, but only when the Pokémon is evolving? (Like, instead of seeing glimpses of just the first or second stage, we saw the outline of something like these in-between)

Firstly, happy birthday! Secondly, these are super cool! I'd seen them around before but I didn't realize there was an entire site for em. I'm definitely going to look up my favorite mons and see what people thought up
When I was a kid, I created my own starter lines. I don't remember all their names, but I remember them being a Grass-type squirrel, ending in a grass/flying type flying squirrel, a bear line ending in a fire/dark type, and a deer line ending in a water/rock type. I only remember the names of my fire types; Flarecub, Hiburnate (used to be Pyroar until gen 6 used it), and Grizflame
A lot of these feel like concept arts for these Pokemon. I think it's delightful that most Pokemon are their own little characters, apart from each other but loosely related.

They also have drawn up imaginings of what it would be like for Eevee to evolve into middle grounds between it's different evolutions, and those are also really good.
I like to imagine that if you stopped a Pokémon’s evolution midway, you’d get one of these Pokémon. Of course this would be useless, but a fun inclusion nonetheless
